More Hardwood + Round Holes = Lots of Scoring in Basketball 2K19
Keyrock replied to Leferd's topic in Way Off-Topic
On the bright side for the Bucks, Giannis looked 100%, it's unlikely Mikal Bridges has another game that good, not on the road, anyway, and the Bucks role players should play better in Milwaukee. They need to hold serve at home. They already need to take a game in Phoenix, I can't see them taking 2, so it's critical they win all their home games. -
Correct. To be honest, I don't much care about the IP in the case of Swansong either. I mean, I have nothing against World of Darkness, but my main motivating factor is the developer, on account of how much I liked their previous game.

Honestly, that doesn't look half-bad. If I was into multiplayer competitive games I'd probably give it a look, but I'm not, so I won't.

What's his beef with all women and 1 specific guy?

If it's anything like The Council then it will be a heavily narrative focused investigation adventure with RPG-Lite elements.

We've seen the Bucks come back from being down 0-2 before. Can they do it again? I hope not. -
Their mom is a Teletubby?

I've been eagerly anticipating this game ever since it was first announced, more so than Bloodlines 2, and even before Bloodlines 2 started throwing up more red flags than a Chinese military parade. It's being developed by Big Bad Wolf; they made my 2018 GotY The Council.

I'm not touching it until full release, but I'd be interested in opinions from any foolish brave souls that partake in early access.

Sadly, no.

I'll say this, in defense of Budenholzer and the Bucks D. While you can't let CP3 dictate the defensive matchup, actually stopping him from said dictation is much much much easier said than done. CP3 is so skilled and experienced that he will recognize your defense, process the matchups, process every conceivable switch, then implement the best possible adjustment exponentially faster than almost anyone in the league right now. Still, that's a puzzle y'all need to solve because you can reasonably expect CP3 to have 1 ice cold game in a series, 2 if you are really lucky. All the other games he will absolutely torch you if he gets to dictate the matchups. -
I guess I'll be rooting for England to beat the Italian Diving Team in the final.

It largely comes down to cooling. GPUs are sucking more and more power and thus producing more and more heat which requires better (read: bigger) cooling solutions.

Game 1 went pretty much as expected. The Pu Pu Platter of Bobby Portis, P. J. Tucker, and Brook Lopez trying to guard CP3 wasn't cutting it. Is it just me or is Budenholzer incapable of making in-game adjustments? Game to game he makes adjustments well enough, but in-game? -
You can write that about almost anything JK Simmons is in. Also, I'm going to use this as an excuse to post a jacked JK Simmons picture:

Opossum on a roomba, why not?

Still adorable, though

What are you Playing Now: Living the Game Life
Keyrock replied to Amentep's topic in Computer and Console
I started up Assassin's Creed Rogue. It was dirt cheap, on account of being 786 years old, and it has the sailing, ship combat, and sea shanties that I liked so much in Black Flag. It holds up visually fairly well for a 786 year old game and I can crank all settings to max, even on my lappy that's starting to get slightly long in the tooth. So far I'm still in the beginning stages where they are still limiting me on where I can go and what I can do so they can do the first act of the story more or less linearly. What can I say, it's an AssCreed of the pre-Origins variety. I'm not expecting anything innovative. If I get essentially Black Flag 2 then that's great, that's all I want. -

I gotta admit that it doesn't get much more American than referencing an overrated 25 year old movie to peddle mediocre at best beer. I do love me some grizzled Bill Pullman, though.

I didn't want to name the thread "Happy Independence Day" because people might post references to an overrated 1996 movie.
