Those Corman ripoff movies just tended to have a weird charm to them. Plus, New World Pictures' box art/movie poster game was off the chain. I mean, look at this: Granted, it's false advertising, there's nothing in the movie that remotely resembles that image in the slightest bit, but I'm willing to give them a pass when the art is that awesome.

I might take you up on that. I like that the alternate title is They Call Her One Eye. As for Pieces, I've already seen it. I have also already seen Forbidden World, but I believe the blu ray also contains the director's cut, back when it was called Mutant and was a horror comedy. Roger Corman apparently didn't want any comedy and made the director cut a bunch of scenes out (the theatrical cut was still plenty funny, just not intentionally). I'm excited to see the uncut version. Also I saw part of an Ilsa movie many many many many years ago, but I don't remember which one. I mean, I think it was an Ilsa movie; it definitely had Dyanne Thorne, that's not someone you forget.

More Hardwood + Round Holes = Lots of Scoring in Basketball 2K19

Khris Middleton came thtough big for the Bucks and we're headed to a game 7! -
My current lineup for my upcoming 70s and 80s sleazy exploitation marathon: Galaxy of Terror Forbidden World Raw Force Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS I wouldn't mind another movie to make it a nice round 5. Anyone got any recommendations?
-
I found a copy of Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS on blu ray. According to the description it's 1080p. It's coming from ebay so who knows. I'll use this as a test to see if it's a quality transfer or a bootleg copy of a copy. If it's legit I'll try to hunt down the other 3 movies.

I'm getting home in about a week and I plan on going on a 70s an 80s sleazy exploitation movie binge. I've got a couple Roger Corman Alien ripoffs on order and now I'm trying to figure out if they ever made high quality blu ray transfers of the Ilsa quadrilogy. I love me some dirty, grimy, sleazy exploitation flicks. Don't judge me.

I'd say that I can't begin to know what a Bucks fan feels like today, but then I'm a Cowboys fan and I've watched my team bungle away sure wins and had my heart ripped out be an all-time great, one Aaron Rodgers, in a playoff game. The Bucks had that game in the palm of their hand. Kyrie was out, James Harden was a one-legged man, y'all had a sizeable lead, and then a combination of shooting yourselves in the foot, Jeff Green, of all people, having a nuclear hot shooting night, and Kevin Durant having one of the most ludicrously spectacular playoff performances ever did y'all in. I don't know how the Bucks recover from that. -

James Harden was back for game 5 but he clearly wasn't 100%, my man couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Luckily for the Nets, Kevin Durant put in one of the best playoff performances ever: 49 pts on 16 of 23 shooting, 17 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. That was some raid boss $#!+ last night. The 3 KD buried with the playclock about to expire and less than a minute left in the game... Performances like that are what separate all-time great players from great players. Edit: Here's the complete list of players to ever go 40-15-10 in a playoff game: Oscar Robertson Charles Barkley Luka Doncic Kevin Durant -
Figures, Japan gets the premium trailer and we get the great value trailer.

I'd go so far as to say it told me nothing. I already knew Starfield was sci-fi themed (the name itself tells you that). The trailer was pre-rendered footage of an astronaut that may or may not appear in the game. I'll say this, it was a nice looking astronaut. Maybe this is the 16X the detail we were promised for FO76?

What are you Playing Now: Living the Game Life
Keyrock replied to Amentep's topic in Computer and Console
Hard difficulty in SMT3: Nocturne is brutal. For those not familiar with MegaTen games, combat is focused on weakness and resistances. Any time you either land a critical or hit an enemy with an attack it is weak to you get an extra action, effectively making your attack free. Any time you miss or hit an enemy with an attack that they resist or nullify or reflect you lose an additional action. If you have the right skills and play your cards right you can just keep attacking and wipe the opposition out before they even get to go. However, it works both ways. Enemies can do the same thing to you. Sometimes you'll get ambushed and the enemies will hit you with successive attacks that hit weaknesses. On normal difficulty you may survive and have to expend resources to heal your wounds. On hard you may just die before you even get to act. Such is life on hard difficulty. -
Originally a Wii U game now remastered for all modern hardware. AFAIK this will be the first Fatal Frame game to make it to PC.
-
If the rumored Switch Pro comes out around the same time I probably won't be able to resist. A bundle would be amazing.

When shopping for vidya games remember to shop smart. Shop S-Mart.

Y'all already know that I'm all about Eurojank RPGs so I'm obviously excited about this, questionable music choice notwithstanding. I mean, if you are going with nu metal at least get Sevendust.

I should add I wrote WB by mistake, I meant Universal. Monsterverse is probably the Godzilla and King Kong movies or whatever. I have no idea how successful those movies are, not my jam. I meant whatever was going to be the cinematic universe starting with the Tom Cruise Mummy remake which bombed horribly and killed the whole thing before it started.
-
Devolver taking the piss, as per usual: Phantom Abyss looks great. Here's the trailer in case you don't want to watch the 30 minute Devolver presentation: You should probably watch the entire presentation, though. The Devolver Cinematic Universe is more compelling than the MCU, DCEU, Star Wars and the dead on arrival Monsterverse or whatever WB Universal was going to call it. Edit: Also, I suddenly have an urge to eat a chili cheese dog.

I'm trying so hard to not get hyped and keep my expectations low so that I don't set myself up for the most bitter of disappointments. It's hard; I've waited so long. I thought TOW was good but not great. Still, it mostly scratched the Fallout itch and the world universe is more interesting than 50s-themed post apocalypse. It was a good base for a follow up. Apropos Redfall, Masshole vampires? That's double bad! It looks like it could be fun. I wonder if it will be a Destiny type multiplayer game.

Now THAT'S how you do a trailer! Also, game looks awesome.

Reminds me of Bulletstorm.
