Not much to go on beyond this is a game being made.

So I went ahead and caved and I got that big remaster everyone has been clamoring for. The game that's on everyone's lips. You loved it years ago and now it's back on modern hardware with improved visuals. Wait, what did you think I was talking about? -
More Hardwood + Round Holes = Lots of Scoring in Basketball 2K19

The Mavericks were supposed to be a favorable matchup for the Clippers. There was, however, always the Luka Doncic goes ape$#!+ factor, and go ape$#!+ he has so far. He's one of a handful of players currently in the NBA that can just say "!^<× this, hop on my back, we're winning this !^<×ing game." -

The Dark Brotherhood quest line was pretty great in Oblivion and there were a few other gems, but otherwise it was just kinda meh. The main quest line was mind-numbingly dull. -
Freespace 3, Star Citizen, Half-Life 3, and Beyond Good & Evil 2 will all release on the same day. Unfortunately, the day before that the Earth will be hit by a massive Coronal Mass Ejection, frying all our electronics, killing 50% of the population, and knocking us back into a dark age. On the bright side, the aurora light show is going to be SPECTACULAR.

So they are the Anunnaki, basically.

I can't say this is the worst movie trailer I've ever seen since it didn't make me want to actively avoid a movie, like the godawful trailer for Ghostbusters (2016), for example. I don't, however, think apathy is the emotion a movie studio is targeting when putting out a trailer. Back when I read comics I mainly read X-Men, Spiderman, Spawn, and dabbled in Lobo. Still, I knew who Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Thor, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, and so on, were. I have no clue who the Eternals are. I can only assume the comics and/or graphic novels this is sourced from are either recent or obscure. The 2 minutes of pure, unadulterated boredom in that trailer did nothing to make me want to find out about Eternals.

They're making a Willy Wonka prequel starring Timothée Chalamet. If they follow the gritty origin story trend they could call it Dark Chocolate.

Gat Out of Hell was definitely a disappointment, but you did get to play as the best Saints Row character, Kinzie Kensingston. You could play as Johnny Gat as well.

Rich Evans has the voice of an angel. I considered putting up a Rich Evans Laugh Trigger Warning, but I didn't; not because I'm lazy, but because I wanted those uninitiated and unsuspecting to not have any warning.

Wait, is that a "real" "movie"? This isn't some sort of belated April Fools joke? Holy crap, that's significantly worse than the already hilariously awful Resident Evil: Afterlife ending.

Malcolm McDowell and Gary Oldman were definitely big oversights on my part. In an unrelated story:

Blasphemy. SR4 had the best iteration of the best mini-game, Insurance Fraud.

^ Best perpetual villains: Kurtwood Smith Christopher Walken Ronny Cox Danny Trejo Dennis Hopper Michael Ironside Am I missing anyone notable?

They released an English version of this song titled "Minus Zero" and I could never figure out why they didn't go with "Less Than Zero" which is a literal translation of the original Polish title and fits perfectly phonetically.

Will the Highlander reboot have The Kurgan as the villain? I like Sean Connery and Christopher Lambert, but it was Clancy Brown's performance that carried that movie. He was magnificent.

They made a trucker action movie and didn't even have the common decency to cast me for authenticity? 0/10 Would Not Watch #CancelTheIceRoad

These are definitely an "if they're healthy" playoffs. I mean, you can say that every year, but it's especially true this year. At full strengh, I can't see anyone knocking the Nets off in the east. Fully healthy, I think the Lakers are the clear favorites in the west. Lebron certainly didn't look 100% in the play-in game, though. The good news for the Lakers is that Lebron has some time to get (closer) to 100% as the Suns drew the worst possible matchup getting the Lakers. They have nobody to guard the Lakers' bigs. -
In case The Outer Worlds wasn't enough to fill that Fallout-shaped hole in your gaming heart and you are not averse to circa 2006 graphics.

Maybe Miranda's face was tired? Now I'm picturing Yvonne Strahovski in a bodysuit with several dozen little balls glued to her behind. In an unrelated story, how much does motion capture graphic artist pay? Asking for a friend. -
Charles Grodin age 86.

My inspiration for the name was "a character in a Roger Corman Star Wars knock-off." The face just sort of created itself, I mean, that's a Gobo Blek if I've ever seen one.

I'm finally getting around to playing The Outer Worlds. At this point, I'm sure everyone here has already played the game, so I'll just post a picture of my character, Gobo Blek, and move on:

That's the idea. US companies, not just tech companies, have been outsourcing and building plants overseas for decades because labor is cheaper, laws are more lax, etc. Unfortunately, that can come back to bite you in times when international shipping becomes disrupted, like, say, a global pandemic.
