  1. Muh Boys have a ton of needs on defense. The consensus is that this class has 2 CBs and then a big dropoff. One of them should still be there at #10, so they will probably get Surtain or Horn, whoever is still on the board.
  2. The only TE I would put ahead of Gates is Tony Gonzales.
  3. Antonio Gates is IMHO the second greatest TE ever, Travis Kelce will likely be top 10, definitely top 15 all-time when all is said and done. The point is, barring something freakish happening, Kyle Pitts is going to be great. His athleticism is off the charts and he has good instincts to boot. He has room to improve as a blocker, but as a pass catcher he's already great. He's going to be an All-Pro many many times over unless something goes horribly and unexpectedly wrong.
  4. Kyle Pitts is the "safest" pick. There's no such thing as a sure pick, but Pitts is as close to one as they come. He's not a QB, but Tight End is arguably the 2nd most valuable position in the current NFL. Barring injury, his ceiling is Antonio Gates and his basement is Travis Kelce.
  5. I was unsurprised, but nevertheless happy to find out that Ace Combat 7 has official support for my Thrustmaster T16000M FCS HOTAS flightstick. Good chance they'll have a default profile included, though I'll undoubtedly wind up tinkering with it. I'll wait until the next time I'm home to download it, since 52 GB would take FOREVER on truck stop wifi. I'm pretty pumped to fly a jet in a melodramatic motions on a drink coaster anime story.
  6. Ace Combat 7 is 75% off on Steam. That's all the arm twisting I needed.
  7. Not even for games. Proton has been a Godsend to weirdos, like myself, that game on Linux, which is why, when everything else is equal, I will give my money to Valve rather than anyone else who runs a storefront. It's still not as out of the box plug and play friendly as Windows for brand new games... Although given the state that games release in these days that make me question what exactly is the difference between early access and a full release, I don't know that anyone gets a smooth plug and play experience on PC, or even consoles for that matter, at launch.
  8. I also haven't used Windows in close to 20 years.
  9. I haven't updated Windows in close to 20 years.

  11. Nah, that's what carrot cake is for. Trying to make zucchini bread particularly sweet is a mistake IMHO. The whole reason I like it is because it's NOT as sweet, at least the way I make it.
  12. https://ryu-ga-gotoku.com/20210507/enus/ Are we getting a new Judgment game? If so, I hope they differentiate it more from the Yakuza games. Judgment was, for all intents and purposes, a traditional Yakuza game with some superficial "detective" stuff tacked on. I like beating thugs up with bicycles as much as the next guy, maybe more, but I'd like Yagami to do more actual detective work and less beating fools with bicycles in a sequel.
  13. Digital Underground was great. They were sort of a spiritual successor to P Funk.
  14. @BruceVC I like soup just fine, I'm not particularly fond of cream of mushroom, though (I don't hate it). Zupa Szczawiowa is my jam.
  15. We always had Campbell's Cream of Mushroom at my folks and I usually have at least a can or two on hand at my place. Almost never used it to make soup, though. Most often it got used in making green bean casserole, one of the most delicious dishes on Earth.
  16. No cheese-tastic 90s techno theme no care
  17. I was originally planning to buy a house in the North Carolina/Tennessee mountains (likely the TN side) this fall. Those plans aren't officially off, but I may postpone things for a while if the market continues to be crazy. Luckily, there's no real urgency on my part, I can continue to rent the place I'm at while I wait either for the bubble to burst or a great deal to come along. I would like to buy a house within the next year or two, but if I have to wait longer, so be it.
