  1. Okay, I had no idea. I'm third on that list. I seem to have a problem too....
  2. Hmm, but early access is a privilege in its own right. I mean that for a few dollars anyone can add late-beta access to their pledge. Then OE gets a bigger test base for the game too. Win-win, no? Surely, no early-beta people would get offended if there's a late beta? They can pay to be included there, or for those paying up a lot of money, say, 100 dollar or more, get both early and late bet access.
  3. I'm not sure I can come up with any, but perhaps the community can. Is there something OE could add as an add-on that would make people wring out their wallets one more time? My idea is simple: Why just early beta-access? Why do they not add late-game beta-access as well? Then you get to play a bit and help Obsidian iron out a few bugs at the same time!
  4. Same here, C2B! That curious portrait in a reddish tone was great, it was your trademark sort of. Don't give it up!
  5. Wakey, wakey, Obsidian! This stretch-goal-galore has already been achieved (counting PayPal-backers)! Ziets is in! Yay! Now you need to celebrate....
  6. Perhaps I am delusional, but it was a couple of years since I last played BG2: IIRC, your pc and party could not run through the game. It was done in an adventure-appropriate pace. They characters sorta trickled forth on the ground. I loved that and I hope PE does the same.
  7. Perhaps this should be stickied so that we don't have to bump it all the time?
  8. MenschFleisch+5, ich weiss, das war meine meinung! Ziets is pronounced "Zeits".
  9. Yeah, thanks Althernai! And George Ziets and 2.8 goal is definitely reached now, faster than expected. Four days in this pace and a zerg at the end will perhaps be enough. Wouldn't it be cool if this got to be the best KS ever?
  10. I can't believe it's real, but here it is! George Ziets is back to help make one heck of a game. This is my first Kickstarter and MotB alone was the reason I even found myself here in the first place. I can rest easy now. Everything from here is just topping on the cake. Dreams do come true.
  11. And Theobeau, that name really sits well on one's tongue, doesn't it? And what if it's a rich invester of the San people, there will be lot of clicking and spelling with !!!! to even try to pronounce it. It wil be called The City instead, like Prince got to be called The Symbol way back.
  12. Holy cannoli, the thing jumped big time! Ziets is in! YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. A watched kettle will never boil, but this sure will. I command you!
  14. If only, Loranc! One single RPG-lover among all those computer millionaires around Silicon Valley and other similar places on the planet could found an entire city. Obsidian could name it after her or him.
  15. It's 1,300 likes away on Facebook. Anyone who's working on a big firm? Send out a mass mail asking everyone to click on Obsidian's Facebook page.
  16. Weapon sheathing is sure cool and all, but I'd easily and happily give it up for a single crypt designed by Ziets.
  17. I said yes on certain occasions in side quests, partly for the reason Lady Elvenstar gave, but also because I hope for some really challenging encounters when I've walked in on something almost beyond my measley party... Hey, I wrote "almost"!
  18. I second that. Denerim was in fact a trucker joint and a petrol station in disguise.
  19. 51k left now, add to that at least 49k PenPals, as it were, it gotta to be under 2,000!
  20. It would be great if the baddies didn't come in waves of same from to level. I'd like to see lots of well-composed combinations of monsters/NPCs that also make sense storywise, including habitat and all (without too much realism, but you know what I mean). This point goes for all encounters, but it has rarely been used down in dungeons. For some reason, dungeons are often sadly a carte blanche for sorting a few monster categories per level.
  21. A conservative stimate of Paypal is at least 49 by now, and just now there's less than 55k to go, so 6,000 left then. This is going fast!
  22. Knock on neighbours' doors, give them a note of instruction on how to log into Obsidian's Facebook-site and click "like". When they ask why, say it's for a good cause: It will endorse peace, love and understanding.
