  1. It's a sad thing when the game is officially out but I can't actually play it until I get the game disks. *Sigh* The bane of having crappy internet.
  2. I'm not sure what to vote for as I'll be installing from the disk. (I only have a small download limit each month) That means I'll be waiting for the disks to arrive before I can install the game, so either way I won't be able to install and play the game until a later date anyway.
  3. Heh, well, I'm glad. . I usually just feel like an information fountain. So, it's nice when someone actually needs a drink. 8P As for the fee, I dunno if this helps (more information fountainry! 8D!), but I believe that there's an $8 Obsidian Order of Eternity option in the add-ons list, in pledge management. Of course, asking Obsidian is probably never a bad idea, since they know a lot more than I do about any and all things specific to pledge management. I'm sure they'll get you situated. Also, pointless comments are a spice of life (there's a whole spicerack full of Life spices. Little known fact, u_u). @Sophos: That's actually a pretty great idea! Unfortunately, I already confirmed a mere "Lephys" as my credit title. *saddy face* Bugger already done mine too Ooooo, I just double checked, and i haven't submitted it yet. So what do you think I should put mine down as????

  5. Saying it now while I have time on Xmas eve. Merry Christmas Everyone.
  6. Welcome all new members Out of curiosity, what numbers are we looking at now?
  7. I love this post. For me the companions are just as important as my own character. And if the companions aren't memorable, than the game is generally lacklustre also. So very optimistic so far.
  8. That's an interesting idea for a monk. Also I love the concepts for the cultures. The Vailian Republic is definately my fav so far.
  9. The fact is though that dogs have long been used as effective hunting companions. Big cats, not so much. This is an unfair comparison, but the analogy that comes to mind is that of disregarding a sword because it's too overused in fantasy in favor of using a lance unmounted (that is to say, rejecting a hammer because pliers can put in nails too - perhaps they can, but between the two, why not the hammer? Don't look too far into these please, they're truely bad analogies). Don't get me wrong, I have 2 (3) cats and I love them all to death, but can't manage to picture them following me around and fighting for me so readily as I can for a dog, even if they were bigger. I sympathize with the need to go against the worn grain a little, but also feel I need a practical reason or insight to oppose it. All in all, dog, cat, or (hopefully) detached hawk, I don't care with any particular passion. I dunno, I don't see why it couldn't work. I mean, my mind easily wraps around the idea of PE's souls and different races etc. Why not large cats a intelligent companions.
  10. I have the best of both worlds then. A German Shepard, and 2 cats :D
  11. Dogs have been really overdone in games. Give the kittys a chance.
  12. I think the order is dead tbh, it was a good idea at the time, even the website has been abandoned Not dead, just dormant for a while. Besides it'll most likely pick up and become more lively again closer to release date.
  13. I think I, like a lot of people need something more to engage us. Something to be able to contribute in, instead of always just reading/ lurking and posting. I have also not been on or engaged lating just because life happens, but I still make sure I come back to check in, and make sure peoples are doing fine.
