The update will have a lot of lore in it, (or so they say). Feargus mentioned in a Q&A that Josh will be lore-ing it up in thursdays update (today) and so hopefully it will flesh out a bit more of the world, maybe some more races and some of the interactions between races. On top of that we have a screenshot, I have no idea what they will have been able to do for the screenshot, my my god am I excited. Also, on that note we seem to have 3 human-esq companions 1 dwarf and one elf, from the concepts.

The real question is, can I have my background as a Pirate. That is all.

I think having a game play element that transforms a party member or yourself into a Lich is interesting, removing the soul and putting it elsewhere (like the phylactery) however makes me feel you would only get weaker rather than stronger. It would have to have its own lore and twist which makes it different to the standard Lich I reckon. Dragon knight/dragoon/Kragoon/whatever could be done similarly, a dragon becomes your patron. Demonologist could be the same but swap dragon for demon (or whatever this world holds for us)

I love that first image with the dual wielding. The composition, the style, the use of colours. Literally everything about it I love. Do you have a source/artist for the fantastic dual wielder?

wizard - Necro, Demonologist, Summoner, different schools of magic (if their are any), Blood Mage, Sorceror, Illusionist warrior - Blackguard, Wizard Slayer, Phalanx, Swashbuckler, Marksman, priest - Cleric of (insert god), Battlecleric, Necromancer could fit here too, rogue - Assassin, Wizard hunter, Duelist, Shadowdancer, Pirate ranger - Archer, Beast Master, Tracker, monk - Monastic orders, different martial arts druid - Shapeshifter, Elementalist, Totemic, Herbalist, Shaman barbarian - Berserker, Amazon, Dothraki, Apache (many populations less technologically advanced were seen as barbarians, this is not me belittling other cultures) cipher - Goodness knows what subclasses this could have... Blood bender-esq, Psychic, paladin - Knight, Warlord, Protector, Anti-paladin, chanter - Paragon esq (Guild wars heavy armour ranged and buffs), Skald For me, it is pretty low tech so there would be no tinkerer or steam punk stuff. They have single shot wheel lock pistols at best.

The problem with having the expansion as an add on is that a lot of people will increase their pledge, which gives money to the KS which they have vowed would be spent solely on the main game only. The money from sales post launch and from obsidians coffers are what will pay for the development of the expansion, and to recoup that money they need to sell the expansion to us post kickstarter, if most already own it, it will be harder to recoup money spent on the expansion. They are a business after all and I am sure this is their worry.

I am a late 90's LoZ player and a late 90's cRPG player. Yes I probably would like to kill tingle, but the thought of him infecting PE makes my skin crawl. *shudder*

I am less against it because it is out of universe humour, the fallouts had plenty of brilliant references. It is more that I *expletive* hate Tingle, with all of my being. He is so annoying

Paladin prestige for fighter/cleric. Antipaladin-necro for fighter/mage, Bardic prestige for rogue/mage. I would prefer multiclassing, prestiges or some kind of cross professions rather than getting more singular classes... I think. I am torn from wanting these things but thinking the amount of base classes we have is enough, left and right side of the brain not agreeing it would seem.

Yesterday I got the number 680 backers from paypal.

Basically from what I have seen, (no i am not going to find all the quotes), the paypal does add to the stretch goals, but they won't really count them until the end. Yes we have officially past the next stretch goal, but we probably won't get an update about it until we pass it solely on Kickstarter. I could be wrong about this as we should get an update today and they could slide in "with paypal we have reaches xxx amounts so well done" kinda thing
