Hm, soon PE's kickstarter record will be broken by Torment. Makes my kind of happy and sad at the same time. Happy because I want Torment to be the best possible game, and sad because I always thought of PS:T (spritual successor ->Torment) being BG's (spiritual successor -> PE) little brother......

Perhaps Ubisoft would be interested in publishing that? They are working together on the South Park game now, so why not?

Larian is a Belgian company from Genk, but there work people from all across Europe/the world. Btw that's the weresheep wallpaper for Divinity: Original Sin which was made by me:

New updates today! Update 5: The Short of it, Downloads, Reward Matrix, Articles, 6666, GOG Update 6: Beating The System And I want to add that I'm a bit proud that my wallpaper was shown in the video.

I think that the campaign will make 4M easily and even if the 4.5M will not be reached inXile will announce that they'll try to bring the strongholds into the game nevertheless....

There were some awesome updates on the Divinity: Original Sin kickstarter campaign lately (really good FAQ, singleplayer gameplay, editor, co-op gameplay, missing features,...)! Check it out, the game really deserves some attention! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/larianstudios/divinity-original-sin

No small trailer/teaser of the doc? The update is good but it would have been much better with some video coverage.... I'm not interested in watching other people at gaming so....

I've played PES 2012 today (like every 2nd day....) I hope I will have time at the weekend for Bioshock: Infinite, Dead Island in co-op and I still have to finish XCOM: EU....

Haha, it's something about torment and dark places....

Yepp, the internet is unforgivable when it comes to failures or unintentional actions..... And yes, we've already seen it now, just right in time. And It was awesome.

The video has been removed. It was on the official inXile channel on youtube, must have been an accident or internal leak or something like that.....
-
Damn, inXile did it, an animated 2.5D prerendered version of tomorrow's screenshot.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WMawPxU8Kw&feature=youtu.be WHERE IS YOUR ANIMATED SCREENSHOT FOR PE, OBSIDIAN???

You want to help the funding of Larian's fine new RPG Divinity: Original Sin a bit more than you've already done and spread the word about it at the same time? Well, here's your chance: Join the Weresheep of Original Sin (WOOS), a bunch of die-hard fans of Divinity in the kickstarter comment section! How to become a member? It's quite simple: Upgrade your pledge by 6 $ and you're in. Yes, it's really that simple. You don't have to pass a test, you don't have to choose a specific tier. The cult of the Weresheep of Original Sin is open to everyone as long as s/he adds this small fee of 6 $. If you've done so simply expand your Kickstarter-Username with "- Weresheep of Sin" or "WOOS" and start commenting on Kickstarter. Proudly demonstrate your membership to this very special cult of the most devoted Divinity fans and help spreading the word about our movement among all backers of Original Sin and other projects on kickstarter! Why exactly 6 $? Well, it's the diabolic number and as we're weresheep we considered the number quite appropriate. And as the weresheep infection spreads over Rivellon and your addiction to Divinity gets bigger you may decide for yourself to even up your contribution to 11 $, the number of elemental sin and evilness. What do you get in return? Nothing apart from the feeling of being a special fan amongst some already extraordinary people. Yes, it's a matter of fandom, passion and love. There is no physical or digital reward in it. Don't feel impelled to do so, this is just our way to demonstrate our love for that kind of CRPGs and to support the funding of Divinity: Original Sin. Note: The text is based to great extend on the text for the Obsidian Order (which is Farudan's work). But I don't think he would have anything against it and I'm at least a funding member of the OOoE as well....

Backed that instantly. These plans for the use of the KS money sound just so cool. You should all join the campaign....

Update #47: Odds and Ends
LordCrash replied to Darren Monahan's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
InXile are in front with WL 2, but they used it for a 3D environment while Obsidan is in front for 2(.5)D environments which might be used in Torment as well. So I think that they could learn from each other quite a lot (basic tools and special approaches).- 131 replies

Cool, can't wait for the first gameplay and/or animated scenes. The artwork of the dungeon looks great! Edit: That's great, Josh, but we want to see the animatons ourselves!- 98 replies
