Only 177 people voted in that poll.....but there are over 70,000 backers....not very representative that poll, don't you think? I personally am happy about the live instruments. Nothing beats the power of a real audition!

*We* exist. As an idea. Yes. And ideas are mighty powerful. Obsidian cares about us. They care about the *idea* of the order. They have shown that plenty of times. That is what gives said *ideas* a form/power. Why shouldn't they support an initiative coming from the fans to raise their funding and attracting more people to kickstarter? They know for sure that some of the most dedicated fans of OE and the old IE games are amongst the order's members. In fact, they give us nothing yet (forum titles are nice, but actually just a little work for one of the mods, no big deal) but we give them much. But there is still no "we" simply because of the fact that the whole order is based on the idea to be a "selfless" thing which means we just give. Nothing more. Everything else doesn't have to do anything with the order. If someone thinks he should claim anything, do so, but it's nothing "the order" as a whole is claiming. There is no common sense among the members and no way or process to come to any "decision". Sure, we can disuss things, but that's all. Without leadership there is no power and the order has no leadership and never will have one.

What is senseless? Discussing responsibility and how we position ourselves? The term "we" just don't exist. The OOoE was just an idea to promote additional pledges for PE but there is no "goal" beyond that. So there is nothing to discuss about. If someone thinks that he/she must claim something in the name of the order he/she just talks nonsense because he/she can only talk in his/her own name. So this thread is exactly what I've called it: senseless.......

The "we want dlux back" thread is closed but this senseless thread is still open? From time to time I just don't understand the mods.....

Kickstarter is about funding, not about rewards..... If you don't think that PE is worth your money than don't pledge or don't pledge that much. But it's ridiculous not to pledge a certain amount because the cloth map isn't as cool as someone might expect even if it's not even the final design.....

No, please not again. We had a Drow underground city in BG 2, that' not an innovation. I would like to see a real big Elven city as 2nd city, or best: an Elven city on the top of a mountain with a Dwarven city beneath IN the mountain....

Welcome to all the new members! You will get your new titles after dlux gather gathered them all in a list and after he sent that list to the global mods. So nobody will be forgotten here, you just have to be a little patient.

They will accept them, don't worry. I already have the confirmation from OE that there won't be any problem with that at 1k tier any higher. And I don't think that there are unlimited 1k backers available, so the danger of "too many" items or NPCs is quite small. And if they make 100 items or 200 items doesn't make that great hassle for OE if you account the additional money in....

It's possible to arrange that with OE later, but it will give them more trouble since they have to organize a lot of thing and bringing different payment methods together is no easy task with over 60k backers....

I raised my pledge from $20 to $28, then to $73, then to $118, then to $173, then to $288, and finally a few hours ago to $508..... $1000 pledge will come if we reach 3.5M......

That's the old Gothic style! Would be great to see its revival in PE....
