New Game +
For those that don't know New Game plus mode is when you get to restart again upon completion with all the items and experience acquired in the original play through. I personally like New Game + they allow people to replay games they've already went through without feeling they have lost the time already put into a character. I think they improve re-playability and can greatly extend a games life. Technically the old infinity games had this mode as you could export your character and start a new game with them.

Professional Reader for the Audiobook
generally someone who had a connection to the story itself tells it best as they feel it. or Stephen Fry. either way

Storyteller I have always liked but don't ever see myself using. Depending on the game I definitely see judge as working.

Idea to improve NPC interaction
didn't something like this happen to Edwin in Baldurs gate where he gets turned into a woman? or did I dream that?

Monsters, eh?
as long as we have plenty of variety that isn't just palette swaps I'm happy, I'm pretty confident I will be. there will not be owlbears this was mentioned during the countdown drinking session. they also said no to were-sharks but I could see them as an Easter egg.

A moral question of murder. In a fantasy setting.
Oversoul is my word of the day. I like the idea that removing a soul creates a necromantic puppet. I think the power of a soul would always go forward although a powerful mage could in their next life be a highly disciplined monk, no knowledge of previous life but the power of the soul itself allows them to rise to greatness in this life as well. it is an interesting concept. Draining a soul to empower another, this I see working 2 ways. First is a short term massive gain in power once used its gone along with the stolen soul. Secondly is a permanent increase and changing of the soul, this would create a form of corrupted soul, powerful but with its disadvantages. People would know.

Character Creation- By the book or DIY?
every game I have played has had a modified set of rules these are always adjusted by whoever is running the game almost always as a time saving device or common sense.

Rulesets
Another suggestion Little Fears. You play as children fighting to keep hold of your innocence and you battle the things in the dark. get the atmosphere right and this can be the scariest game you will ever play/run

Rulesets
My Suggestion S.L.A. Industries. Dark setting imagine if Judge Dredd worked for a Corporation instead of the law.

The Exalted Thing..
I played in an exalted game that felt very much like I was part of early 90's anime, this might just be down to the GM of the game but that's how it felt. That and all the players were drunk, that may have had an affect.

was meant to be in Pen-and-Paper Gaming section. How the hell did it end up here? Apart from the obvious answer of it being my **** up. There a mod that can shift it for me?

A moral question of murder. In a fantasy setting.
What would be the consequences of such an act? Would the person still be alive without a soul? Would they still be considered human(or insert fantasy race here)? What of the individual who devoured it, would they become powerful? Would the gods take note? How would you punish someone who could rip out your very soul? a lot of questions I know but I love this stuff.

I love role-playing games. I enjoying playing them but I prefer to run them. One of the most frustrating things about running games is never getting to tell the story. Sometimes your players will just go a different path and miss out on something you made this can be horrible but creates some great creative challenges when forced to rewrite a scenarios in your head. Sometimes the game just never happens. I have made scenarios, settings and entire worlds that players have never set foot in. I might go into more detail with that later Anyone else ever had issues like this?

I believe murder will be very much frowned upon in eternity, I just am not sure it would be the worst of crimes. Loss of life is traumatic for those connected to the life even when the individual is at peace and spiritually fulfilled. I am certain taking of life will be considered morally wrong by many in the game. Although some cultures may thrive on slaughter. Would there be some great cardinal sin that no-one commits? The fear of punishment too great to even consider committing. What could be so bad as to cause the gods to take note?

Souls as materials
We know that souls will be the power source that allow our heroic (and not so heroic) characters to perform the extraordinary. As souls are used as power could individuals be able to craft souls into items? Could an individual have the power to remove a soul to make a weapon? Could desperate individuals offer their soul up so that some champion could wield it to avenge a great wrong? This is something I wanted to do in a D&D game but sadly never got to run. A few rare artefacts empowered by souls created in times of desperation. One example was of a blade made by a nation on the eve of annihilation. The blade was to be trusted to a champion to ensure revenge. Unfortunately the champion never arrived in time and the sacrifice was in vain. She saw the knife it seemed small and poorly crafted. A simple wooden handle warped with age would make it awkward to wield. The blade itself seemed sharp enough but looked like it was made in a rush without much care. Initially she was going to ignore it, but something compelled her to pick it up. Once in her hand she was swarmed with emotion. The Sorrow was crushing. The Fear overwhelming. The Hate intoxicating. Her thoughts drowned out with cries for justice and revenge. A whole nation of voices screaming endlessly. This seemingly simple weapon had been forged in a time of desperation. People with no more hope gave the last thing they had. How many souls had been used to craft it? She would never know. She would never let it go. She would never stop till the blade was sated. What a shame the disaster had long since passed. The great enemy long dead. The hopeless nation forgotten in time. Now just a champion driven mad by angry souls demanding justice. The surrounding lands were doomed. Do you think souls will be used to create items of power?

Slavery is always a hard issue especially when a religion is OK with it. What happens if the slaves are freed? There are very few instances in history where everything works out well in the short term. Someone wants revenge and someone else wants their property back. The moral grey areas appear when you know that by freeing the slaves you will make things much worse in the immediate future, but hopefully in the long term things will be better. If the church says slaves are allowed then potentially your seen as the villain for freeing the slaves, perhaps your considered by the faith as a thief for stealing a lords property. A God may even punish those who free slaves.

I just thought of a scenario were someone would want to trap a soul. A kingdom that's rulers is succeeded eternally by his reincarnated form. Once the king dies his loyal priests search for his soul and raise the infant to become king. Till the child comes of age the eldest child or highest ranking priest rules as regent. The regent however wants to job full time so locates the kings soul before the priests and imprisons it. I'm sure there are other potential reasons to do it. Hatred and religious doctrine seem the 2 biggest though.
