  1. I could see them sidestepping age and just having it as part of character ascetic. I'm reasonable sure player character will be customisable. So greying hair seems quite likely.
  2. As much as I love stylistically the first option, It does make it hard to track progress. I do like being able to check who I promised I'd help without having to read 20 pages at a time. Ideally I'd have both a rolling journal chronicling my progress and a to do list.
  3. I think if it gets the right publicity it could easily meet its target.
  4. Here is a Kickstarter that judging by its comments is being backed by a lot of the same people that backed eternity. http://www.kickstart...863/sui-generis I advise you keep watching till it gets to the actual game. The first half of his pitch I found slightly off, but the game itself backs him up well. EDIT looks like they updated the pitch video so the game is shown quicker.

I look Terrible with a moustache last year people deliberately kept there kids away from me. Still going to do it
  6. Which is a big hit in gaming these days anyway. Pre-order for overpowered stuff. Not a US citizen? Screwed even if you pre-order. Yes, we don't give a damn about our clientele. You noticed? Aaaaaaaaaaanyway. As you may notice I greatly dislike pre-order DLC. Though I suppose this is not technically pre-order. I am rambling. Anyway, I assume it will indeed just be aesthetical. Or maybe earlier in the game. Or something like that. And yes, there will be pets besides the KS one... I have pirated games in the past due to this as it was the only way to play with all the content.
  7. source books seem to be very hard to come by and I don't think a pdf version was ever made. would be quite hard to legitimately find this.

That's the mo I'm going for this year
  9. 641 on the list but a few people haven't been added yet. I'm guessing it will be easier to track once Obsidians Fulfilment System is up and running
  10. Dammit I said I wasn't going to play baldurs gate again till enhanced comes out. This thread is making want to.
  11. ok all is forgiven actually I have read that before. Need to remember and make my girlfriend read it, she has nightmares about zombies a lot since watching the walking dead.
  12. Cracked had a lengthy article which summarized some very solid scientific reasons why a zombie apocalypse would fail, even if it were possible (which it isn't,) it was quite a fun read. http://www.cracked.c...il-quickly.html Gems include this bit on biting as a method of transmission: "Hey, remember that time when that dog got rabies, and then a day later, every single other dog on the continent had it, except for a small band of survivors huddled in a basement? No? That never happened?" your dragging all the fun out of it. we know they're not real we know it wont happen. Its a game.
  13. ok i'm adding this along with the chainsawsuit to my zombie defence wishlist
  14. Apologies for the late reply, pesky real life getting in the way of valuable internet posting time - damn inconsiderate of it. The shield sounds like a good idea, and if nobody objects I'll ask them to do that. Has anyone got a picture of the exact design we want to use please? Honestly if something I wrote makes it into this game I don't think I will ever stop smiling. Clammo you would instantly become my new favourite person.
  15. If LordCrash could give you the blank template of the Sigil I think that would be best imho
  16. I'm well aware it could never happen, merely a thought exercise. and an excuse to put a strong bad quote in the second line
  17. Yeah makes sense, will look out for 3E

The rules are to try writing a 50,000 page novel before the month's end. Did you mean word? Otherwise I don't think its possible
  19. I like the option of a character with high charisma to be charming during dialogue as much as i like a character with high strength to be intimidating I love low intelligence options FO:NV has a great moment where arcade will take pity on you and help you because you so very badly need it. I would like the high charisma option to be there even for people with a low stat, so they can try and charm and fail. Timed dialogue options in a game like this I'm not sure I like the idea of. Although I voted otherwise may I point out I do like trains, owls and bananas!

never heard of this, is it a regional thing? what are the rules?
  21. I always set up auto pause with the intention of using it but ended up auto-pausing and micromanaging each fight to the point auto-pause would become a distraction and then switched off.
  22. Now many of you will have an advantage over me as I am in Scotland a country with very few firearms. This limits me to melee weaponry only. Weapon of choice: Spade. Reason: Solid weapon, useful tool if needed. During the trench warfare of the great war they were used as weapons of desperation till people realised that when swinging them people tended to get decapitated, it then became a deliberate weapon. Location is something that I always change my mind on, My Flat would be a death-trap I accept this. I live in Stirling very near the city centre. Stirling is a small city but it does have a castle which has plenty of food in it due to the tourism trade however it is too easily defended if I can get the doors closed so I consider it a cheat for this exercise thus consider it overrun. Wallace monument would also be very easy to defend its remote hard to access on foot. Deciding to go there would be silly as I would die of exposure or starvation. No food source and it is freezing there. So go the Romero classic and head to the shopping centre/mall? Too many entrances impossible to know its safe however I could secure 1 of the shops inside it, preferably one with food then and scavenge during the day for essentials. But I will go to a small farm near where I love that is covered on 3 sides by river. Sadly I will have to kill the zombie farmer. Location gives me most of the essentials I need secure location ample supplies and equipment also a fair degree of comfort. Bonus there will likely be a generator. Plan barricade the farm and hide at night, swing at lone roamers during the day. If due to my actions I get swarmed I need to have a piece of farm equipment ready to go. Combine harvester to the rescue. If that fails then well I'm gone and I'm coming for you. If it is a fast zombie scenario then I will hang around old folks homes. If I'm gonna be a zombie my food wont be able to outrun me.
