  1. This is pretty good for $320 shipped. Thinking of getting one (overclocks to 120Hz as well) http://www.ebay.com/itm/27-QNIX-QX2710-Evolution-2-ll-2560x1440-WQHD-Samsung-PLS-Monitor-Matt-Screen-/130868312541
  2. I'm just saying it's annoying compared to pretty much every other forum out there.
  3. Yep, but then you don't get access to any ease of use features. The way it was set up last year around September was better.
  4. I don't like the like button, I never use it and I also really dislike the posting code. Instead of the normal way of posting I now have to switch to the pure code method to respond on the forum the way I am used to from the last 13 years I've been using internet forums and I don't have access to any of the ease of use features (bold, italic etc). This is really frustrating.
  5. Irenicus Dungeon was good... The first time you played the game Because it gave you that sense of OMFG YES I AM OUT but yeah on replays ... I think a lot of people would just give up before they got outside.
  6. The Waterfall area still hasn't had it's full paint-over I don't think? Unless they are not going to add moss/etc back to the bridges.
  7. The shadow of the guy with the shield isn't attached to his leg properly, it's kind of floating. But yeah nice to see the character models closeup. Looking pretty good The interior shop area looks fantastic as well. Will stuff like birds, insects, bees etc be 3D animations or 2D animations?
  8. Just because I'm bored. https://vine.co/v/hzA9pUt97de Steve Weatherly, Tim Cain, Jorge Salgado, Polina Hristova, Kazunori Aruga, Sean Dunny, Hector Espinoza ?
  9. Welcome back. A rehiring and a 'promotion' - nice work What format are you guys planning to use for Production? Sprints? or some other method?
  10. You are misinterpreting. The design in the demo does feature some logical steps away from the first design in terms of layout. The discussion was about the placement of the elements not the UI itself, which just uses default Unity buttons. Chris said in the video that the demo was "the latest build" but Josh contradicted it in another forum.
  11. Dragon Age. Devleopment 2003-2009. Quality = Garbage. Diablo 3. Development 200?-2012. Quality = Garbage. Not necessarily
  12. No your attack bonuses lower your THAC0. The bonuses after the + are from 'other' stuff. Like when you are fatigued you get -1 to attack rolls every hour. In BG2 if you are playing on Normal difficulty or lower you get a luck bonus to dice rolls that makes the game easier.
  13. Throne of Bhaal final battle Amellysan the Black is unaffected by Timestop and can still stun/hold someone wearing the cloak of reversal or whatever. Sarevok has a low THAC0. The +4 is external to his THAC0, so his 9 might have been from having a THAC0 of 0; where he only needs a 9 to hit AC-9.
  14. I on the other hand never used summons in BG really. I think Summon Planetar and Summon Dark Planetar in Throne of Bhaal, otherwise I didn't bother. Even those weren't very good vs high level casters or Dragons, who would just cast wail of the banshee straight away.
  15. I found some information on the audio crackling http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/30534-Audio-Crackling-amp-Audio-Source-Volume-Adjustment Hopefully Justin Bell has a read of this.
  16. Magical cloaks could still be a thing, just keep their effects relatively minor and it's fine, then it's just a matter of flavour / color.
  17. Obsidian actually have two job postings up - Backend Web Developer and Web Developer intern, so i'd say that they're still a bit away.
  18. Wouldn't be surprised if it's 1920x1080. We haven't been shown the closest zoom level of Project Eternity yet, the view in the environment demo was not the closest view, but it was the 'standard' view.
  19. I remain puzzled by this viewpoint. Once you know what your characters look like, how much time do you spend staring at them? I'll bet almost none. The only time they are of interest is when you need to select one of them to perform an action. The small icons should be more than enough for that purpose. What I imagine will happen is that larger views of the portraits will be used during conversations and when looking at your character information. It's quite simple really. I prefer the screen real estate that Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and World of Xeen used for portraits than Icewind Dale 2.
  20. Good find. Rob Nesler and Josh Sawyer have said that Polina usually does a few different variants of each piece, so that is unsurprising.
  21. Easthaven in Peace off the top of my head. May be wrong.
