People want backwards compatibility though. Sony's answer to that so far has been numerous remasters of older games and PS Now. My guess is that the PS5 will be only backwards compatible with the PS4.

I'll most definitely buy a PS5 as soon as it is available. I still use the PS4 I bought back in 2014 and I didn't need to upgrade to a Pro(I wouldn't mind though).

The only interesting rumor I've heard is that the PS5 will -most likely- be colored black.

I am very happy with what Nintendo is doing to the Switch. People always complained about the lack of 3rd party games on Nintendo consoles,well, here ya go...in handheld! I have to buy a Switch sooner or later, Mario Odyssey looks amazing.

The controls work fine when in 3rd person view but once you switch to first person it gets a little...slow. I only use the first person view for exploration and indoors. Speaking of which, I still haven't finished RDR2. XD Story sits at around 47 percent or so. I am mostly doing missions around Saint Denis right now.

It seems that all 3 games are available on Steam as part of the 'ReBirth' trilogy. Glad I held off, I just play all three of them on the PC...someday.

I was going to buy that along with the sequel last night but I didn't because I wasn't sure if the PS3 was the best place to play it with all the remakes and ports around. Also, I haven't played the first game yet. Still, they are dirt cheap right now. 4.99 each...hmmm...

I loved Titanfall 2 and thought that the story was a breath of fresh air in a sea of action games with bad stories, but to me the tone and pace of the game reminded me of...*gulp*...Modern Warfare 1? It makes sense since the guys at Respawn worked on some of the better Call of Duty/Medal of Honor games in the past.

I bought exactly one game for 1$: Original War.

I don't remember a whole lot of physics puzzle in HL1. Regardless, I think whatever Valve releases and calls 'half-life 3' these days will disappoint those still waiting for it, yet it won't attract all that many new players with the name alone. After all, it's been almost 15 years since the last big game in Half-Life series got released. At any rate, if you're craving more Half-Life-esque game design, give Titanfall 2 a shot. IIRC Titanfall 3's in the works right now, which is grand. Sadly, the original game did not have a campaign. Titanfall 2? That is nothing like HL. Still a great game though. I'd personally recommend Singularity.

Went out with dad, bought new shoes for winter, fed a cat that was in front of the shoe store...I always carry a small bag of Katphood cat food with me when I go out. We also gave one of my aunts a visit after a long time. It was nice. Then we came back to my place and ate some good ol' homemade food.
