  1. Totally! https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-08-05-diablo-3-has-sold-20-million-copies-so-far Edit: best. christmas. EVER! https://youtu.be/i3-FU2ZLvVo
  2. Yup. Back then people seemed to complain about it a whole lot less.
  3. Hmmm, how does #melkheim sound like?
  4. Well, I am glad I have still held on to this after all these years: Thought I'd share.
  5. He did some writing and he was also responsible for the art-direction.
  6. ^That sounds a bit weird to be honest. For me that title obviously goes to Fallout: New Vegas. The world building in that game was awesome and I have no idea why Pillars of Eternity didn't manage to beat that game. Also, I wouldn't put RDR 2 in the rpg category. example: That's why to me, it is basically a very good open-world action-adventure game with a few rpg elements sprinkled on top.
  7. As it stands (one never knows) it's not even in the cards. There were some projects in that direction but none of them were good enough so they all got canned. At this point Valve's thinking (and I tend to agree) is that nothing they could release would live up to the hype that has built up over all these years. Fwiw the (or "a") draft for the Half Life 2: Episode 3 storyline was "leaked" by the (one of the?) writer(s) (who is no longer at Valve) so you could read up as to what at least that person had planned for Episode 3. Yup, Marc Laidlaw was the final nail in the coffin. What sad end to one of the most beloved franchises ever. With Blizzard announcing a mobile game, Fallout 76 being the disaster that it is and Sony delivering a half-arsed PS One Classic, I wonder if a golden age of gaming is upon us.
  8. More RDR 2. I still haven't finished it, taking my sweet time. Gotta say, I really admire Rockstar Games for having the balls to create a true AAA experience. Sure, some of the gameplay mechanics feel a decade old but the attention to detail, story and the individual characters more than make up for that. It also helps that it is one of the best looking games out there.
  9. Are Valve saving Half-Life 3 for VR or have they just stopped caring at all.
  10. I wanted to play that but I only saw bad reviews on the interwebz. It looks like Snatcher though...
  11. Is this what they call...'poetic justice'?
  12. Tried watching The Omega Man but I fell asleep...again! So instead, I decided to chill with a classic from my childhood: Last Action Hero
  13. Yup. That's exactly how my cats behave if I try to give them a bath. I stopped giving them baths a while ago, figured it wasn't good for them. I just groom them daily.
  14. Oh boy, I'll be pre-ordering this thing the second it's available and flub whoever thinks I'm wrong! https://www.vg247.com/2018/11/29/death-stranding-release-date-walmart-leak/
  15. EA doesn't develop games. BioWare is responsible for their own flub ups. Publishers make big decisions which ultimately decides the fate of the final product.
  16. Dad is coming here for lunch so that's pretty cool. I don't see anyone besides my two cats or my dad because screw people, that's why.
  17. Mutant Year Zero will be available on Xbox Game Pass so...
  18. Bioware is teasing a new Dragon Age game: http://blog.bioware.com/2018/11/29/november-update/ Let's hope EA has learned something from their past mistakes.
  19. Decided to give Silent Hill: Origins a whirl on the PS2. It seems that Team Silent was the only developer that could make a true Silent Hill experience. Maybe I am too quick to judge though so who knows but fact is that Konami went totally bonkers after SH4(yeah, 4 wasn't that bad). I'll make sure to try Silent Hill: Shattered Memories after this but I ain't holding my breath.
  20. Less Than Zero(1987) Haha, this was the first time I got to see a young Robert Downey Jr. in a movie and it was awesome. I also liked Andrew McCarthy since I had already seen Mannequin before. I've never seen any of his post 80's movies though. This was also the first movie I've seen with Jemi Gertz in the cast. Great movie all around. Fargo(1996) so. much. snow! This was a great movie. The Coen Brothers make some of the best crime movies but my favorite is still Blood Simple(1984)
  21. Oh that is sweet. Imagine a PS Vita II that can play all of your PS4/PS3 digital games. Playing the PS4 games you already own, on the go, would be a great start.
  22. Never finished a Hitman game but what Fenix is describing sounds awesome. How are the Hitman games connected to one another?! Will playing the older Hitman games give me a better experience? I only briefly played the first Hitman game back in the days and found it to be a bit hard for me.
