I feel the same way but I keep telling myself that with Obsidian's talent in storytelling being 'good', I would like to think that the game is also a little bit 'Cowboy Bebop'. As for Far Cry 6... Dude, f*** Far Cry 6, I haven't even played 5 yet. Far Cry 3 was the last good entry and now I will simply go hide before mkreku shows up with a flamethrower.

The Outer World has been in development for quite some time now, I don't think that the Microsoft deal could affect that. Also, Microsoft usually release their games on Steam as well as the Xbox/Microsoft store so there shouldn't be any worries.

Started playing Resi 0 because of all the Resi 2 Remake hype.

A space opera by Obsidian, I am pretty sure we will all be playing it day one. I'll be playing it on my Xbone X because PlayStation and Obsidian go together like cactus and arse. Of course a PC would be the best option but I haz no moniez. Edit: forgot to post this.

Well, I am glad I have still held on to this after all these years: Thought I'd share.

^That sounds a bit weird to be honest. For me that title obviously goes to Fallout: New Vegas. The world building in that game was awesome and I have no idea why Pillars of Eternity didn't manage to beat that game. Also, I wouldn't put RDR 2 in the rpg category. example: That's why to me, it is basically a very good open-world action-adventure game with a few rpg elements sprinkled on top.

As it stands (one never knows) it's not even in the cards. There were some projects in that direction but none of them were good enough so they all got canned. At this point Valve's thinking (and I tend to agree) is that nothing they could release would live up to the hype that has built up over all these years. Fwiw the (or "a") draft for the Half Life 2: Episode 3 storyline was "leaked" by the (one of the?) writer(s) (who is no longer at Valve) so you could read up as to what at least that person had planned for Episode 3. Yup, Marc Laidlaw was the final nail in the coffin. What sad end to one of the most beloved franchises ever. With Blizzard announcing a mobile game, Fallout 76 being the disaster that it is and Sony delivering a half-arsed PS One Classic, I wonder if a golden age of gaming is upon us.

More RDR 2. I still haven't finished it, taking my sweet time. Gotta say, I really admire Rockstar Games for having the balls to create a true AAA experience. Sure, some of the gameplay mechanics feel a decade old but the attention to detail, story and the individual characters more than make up for that. It also helps that it is one of the best looking games out there.
