  1. If Fallout 4 and No Man's Sky had a baby...
  2. ^what a time to be alive!
  3. Also, Mark Laidlaw joins the AC: Odyssey team: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-12-05-dragon-age-boss-mike-laidlaw-joins-assassins-creed-odyssey-studio-ubisoft-quebec Note: Not to be confused with Marc Laidlaw who worked on the Hal-Life games.
  4. https://youtu.be/TvBtrSNXe24 They got me at 'we were wrong'.
  5. That is good news. I don't want a UT game with weapons skins, dance moves and lootboxes.
  6. New Dragon Age game to be revealed next week: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-12-04-bioware-reportedly-set-to-unveil-new-dragon-age-later-this-week
  7. Well, melkathi, that's because you are a gentleman and a scholar. Tag would be below you. I agree with Fenixp, SonicMage is the only person who deserves to get bullied around here.
  8. Totally! https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-08-05-diablo-3-has-sold-20-million-copies-so-far Edit: best. christmas. EVER! https://youtu.be/i3-FU2ZLvVo
  9. Yup. Back then people seemed to complain about it a whole lot less.
  10. Hmmm, how does #melkheim sound like?
  11. Well, I am glad I have still held on to this after all these years: Thought I'd share.
  12. He did some writing and he was also responsible for the art-direction.
  13. ^That sounds a bit weird to be honest. For me that title obviously goes to Fallout: New Vegas. The world building in that game was awesome and I have no idea why Pillars of Eternity didn't manage to beat that game. Also, I wouldn't put RDR 2 in the rpg category. example: That's why to me, it is basically a very good open-world action-adventure game with a few rpg elements sprinkled on top.
  14. As it stands (one never knows) it's not even in the cards. There were some projects in that direction but none of them were good enough so they all got canned. At this point Valve's thinking (and I tend to agree) is that nothing they could release would live up to the hype that has built up over all these years. Fwiw the (or "a") draft for the Half Life 2: Episode 3 storyline was "leaked" by the (one of the?) writer(s) (who is no longer at Valve) so you could read up as to what at least that person had planned for Episode 3. Yup, Marc Laidlaw was the final nail in the coffin. What sad end to one of the most beloved franchises ever. With Blizzard announcing a mobile game, Fallout 76 being the disaster that it is and Sony delivering a half-arsed PS One Classic, I wonder if a golden age of gaming is upon us.
  15. More RDR 2. I still haven't finished it, taking my sweet time. Gotta say, I really admire Rockstar Games for having the balls to create a true AAA experience. Sure, some of the gameplay mechanics feel a decade old but the attention to detail, story and the individual characters more than make up for that. It also helps that it is one of the best looking games out there.
  16. Are Valve saving Half-Life 3 for VR or have they just stopped caring at all.
  17. I wanted to play that but I only saw bad reviews on the interwebz. It looks like Snatcher though...
  18. Is this what they call...'poetic justice'?
  19. Tried watching The Omega Man but I fell asleep...again! So instead, I decided to chill with a classic from my childhood: Last Action Hero
  20. Yup. That's exactly how my cats behave if I try to give them a bath. I stopped giving them baths a while ago, figured it wasn't good for them. I just groom them daily.
  21. Oh boy, I'll be pre-ordering this thing the second it's available and flub whoever thinks I'm wrong! https://www.vg247.com/2018/11/29/death-stranding-release-date-walmart-leak/
  22. EA doesn't develop games. BioWare is responsible for their own flub ups. Publishers make big decisions which ultimately decides the fate of the final product.
