  1. Terentateks are intelligent. Where did any of you get the idea that they aren't? This is a quote from Duron Qel-Droma (one of those 3 Jedi's killed in the Great Hunt) from Shadows and Light, a comic in Star Wars Tales issue #23- Does this change anyone's mind about terentateks? The Jedi are racist lightsiders. Don't believe in execution, hmph! And btw- I'm so stupid, spelled "terentatek" wrong. This is the correct spelling.
  2. A sarlacc's belly can be a nice level. There are many chambers, and since it takes thousands of years to digest people, you can explore around and interact a bit. After that you're gonna be the first one to pull a Boba Fett?
  3. Well terentateks are evil and dark side creatures, but they can't help being born that way. Well the Great Hunt was set to wipe them out. It's like the Jedi purge, except it's the light wiping out the dark this time. Can't a terentatek just be contianed in a zoo or in a remote planet? Sith and Jedi are both the same in that manner, no? UPDATE: Proof that terentateks ARE intelligent (proof posted below as well). 4. The Ebon Hawk is excellent, as long as it gets an overhaul. That ship needs some upgrading. One of the biggest drags about the Ebon Hawk (other than the constant beatings it gets) is it's one semi-automatic dual-turret with such a slow rate of fire. Sure the lasers are powerful, but the pansy Ebon Hawk's turrets look like a peashooter compared to the Millenium Falcon's two quad-turrets which are fully automatic and have a high rate of fire. My advice: Make the Ebon Hawk's dual-turret fully automatic with an increased rate of fire. It would make the Ebon Hawk look a bit better in the eyes of many players. It it makes space battles too easy, then raise the difficulty of the enemy ships. Maybe even have the Ebon Hawk tackly a capital ship? Just give the turrets an overhaul. It's surface defense cannon which was used to kill the Sith troopers while leaving the Paragus statijon was a nice touch, but maybe have that surface defense cannon be controlled by Ebon Hawk AI or another party member so that if you're fighting bad guys right outside the Ebon Hawk, the surface defense cannon can help you out? And lastly for the Ebon Hawk, I suggest giving it an AI. Kinda like Cortana and Master Cheif in Halo. Just to give the Ebon Hawk a life of it's own. Give it a female voice and a personality of your choosing? The AI could have always been in the Ebon Hawk, but just hiding. Or it was never activated until you activate it by some controls. Or it could be brought in from the outside as a friendly computer virus type? Also this is to ensure that there are no lack of female precense in the ship. Just my 3 cents.
  5. Well that just gave me an idea to make a suggestion for K3 which I think is significant because it is present in nearly 90% of your KOTOR playing time: The appearance of your character's various body parts. After close examination of the models in the game I do not see a single difference between a female's rump and a males rump (not that it should make a big difference, because as in real life some men have rumps the shape of a woman's and some women have a rump the shape of a man's. So I just want to suggest that in K3, I think that it would be fitting if we can choose not only our gender and our facial appearance but other body part features such as big biceps/breasts, muscular thighs, tight buttocks, skinny hands, etc. Both genders will have all options opened to them. After all, if you're stuck with seeing a character for 90% of your game time, you might as well make that character look nice. And I know that in K2 there is an effective facial generator for NPC's, which is an improvement from K1 since not everybody's face look alike anymore. Now how about extending this generator to not only make different faces, but different body features. This is so that no two NPC's will have exactly the same body. Some random female might be obese stomach-wise with long arms, short legs, large feet, small sized buttocks, huge breasts, and long neck while a random male can be thin, have large hands, short neck, muscular chest, tight buttocks and huge triceps, huge feet, and short legs. It really would add to the immersiveness to the SW universe, IMO. I think that this is a really good idea to extend the face generator into generating different body parts as well. Think about the immersiveness this game would create by adding this whole new level of diversity. Thoughts?
  6. I think that if you go further into the Dark path, fewer goody-two-shoes dialogue options should be available to you. And if you go further down the Light path, you get less choice of evil dialogues. To keep with consistency.
  7. Forget the Hutt, what about a Sarlacc?
  8. Hey, wouldn't it be cool to have both Revan and the Exile as your party characters, or have one your main character and the other a party member? Or 2 main characters?
  9. Markos Ragnos. Wonder if we can find that Sith holocron.
  10. Hutts do have 2 genders. They turn from male to female, and back to male from time to time. Think of all the possible romance options.
  11. Think of how many characters came back from the dead in Star Wars films and EU (and lots of characters comes back from the dead in EU): Boba Fett (escaped Sarlacc) Obi-Wan, Yoda, Vader, Exar Kun, etc (as ghosts) At the end of Esp, 3 Yoda mentions Qui-gon alive IG-88 (Was originally destroyed by Boba Fett) Palpatine Those are just at the top of my head, and I don't even know the entire Star Wars EU timeline, but there are many many more. Besides, Nihilus is basically pretty much a ghost already, because he turned into that red cloud thing. Since 90% of Jedi and Siths come back from dead as ghosts, Nihilus could be a very powerful ghost.
  12. I think that Darth Nihilus should make a comeback somehow in K3 so that he can be redeemed as a character. He does seem to be an interesting fellow with lots of mysteries and potential. And Star Wars EU has characters returning from fake deaths all the time, what's there to lose with this one? Besides, having a character with such a sorry role/life as the cover boy for the game box doesn't help the series. The possibilities of bringing Nihilus back are endless- the Exile still has the Nihilus mask, so anyone who puts on the mask resurrects Nihilus? Or that red cloud Nihilus turns into forms back up again? Or maybe like since there will always a Darth Traya, there will always be a Darth Nihilus? Darth Nihilus was really the evil side of Revan? etc etc and etc. You can make better ideas, but the possibilities are endless. Just give your K2 poster boy a chance to be redeemed. I don't see any harm bringing him back; he doesn't have to be the main villian or even a major villian, just something better than just a foe you kicked the ass out of. C'mon, he can't possibly be made any worse, so what's there to lose by adding him?

  14. How about the smell of some fresh napalm and Jedi?
  15. Or a flamethrower.
  16. The harmonic combos in JE was a nice touch.
  17. While I was reading one of my old threads which I forgot to read, I stumbled upon this. While I would like to discourage such conversations as they tend to reduce the conversation and all the participants to the lowest theme possible (which is ultimately clich
  18. Well it can be both, but I was mostly referring it to an in-game thing. Maybe you can also use a Revan holocron to teach you a new deadly lightsaber technique? Since it's the 3rd game of the series, I think it's about time that all the mysteries everyone is pondering on are finally answered.
  19. Yes I got kicked out of the Marine Corps, but it was with an uncharacterized discharge, which is neither honorable nor dishonorable. I'm still getting some compensation from the VA for it, but after 6 months it should be changed to Under Honorable Conditions. Well with that aside, you got me there, mstormrage. I must admit you make some very good points. Congrats. :D But just one more thing: How did that Corran Horn guy in EU manage to pull off that feat if it took the plasma that long to activate? I haven't read that specific book nor do I know what book that he pulled off that feat is, so I don't know. Lightsaber activation certainly didn't seem to take that long in the movies.
  20. Very very good points. However- 1) And isn't a Jedi supposed to be one with his lightsaber? That is why non-force sensitives don't use lightsabers. And even if it isn't a Jedi user, how can you not know where the 2nd blade is facing when you're holding the lightsaber? The handle is L-shaped; one stick for each blade. Unless it's a lightsaber you never used before and you are unfamilliar with the handle design. Took any classes in fencing? 2) If a Jedi can succumb to a simple lightsaber strike (which is the eventual outcome of any lightsaber duel), how can he avoid being impaled by the activation of a blade already aimed at him? Striking aside, you can push a button that your finger is already on much faster than he can dodge the instantaneous speed of light. Or getting him into a position that makes it feasible. 3) Good point. :D Still, the first two is yet to be explained. 4) New point: You can always take it apart and have one long lightsaber in one hand and a short lightsaber in your off hand if needed. An L-shaped lightsaber is the best idea. It can win any lightsaber duel probably before the duel even starts. And finally, A) I'm afraid a perfectly good topic that I make will get spammed the moment others see it. B) It is related to this topic about the talk of impaling the foe by turning the lightsaber on.
  21. Before idiots spammed by thread, I had this stated:
  22. I think that it would be neat if say we can see what Revan did when he was a Sith Lord. Say the Jedi kept his memory in a box or something when they wiped him. Then you as the main character (Revan, Exile, somebody new, etc) gotta find the box and access Revan's memory to find out some plot-related thing, and you see what he did as Darth Revan. And it better be good. K2 was good IMO (could be great if there were less missing scripts) but it kinda strayed from K1's story a little. I want to see with the outcome of K1 and K2 very heavily mixed into K3, with all the alive characters, choices, and plots. Just try to make some things less mysterious and more explained.
  23. Well what about a BLACK lightsaber crystal? Black light bulbs creates an area of darkness, or "black light" (we use that in Halloween decorations). Black blade would not only be truly be invisible in the night, it will create an area of darkness as well (if you're not fighting a Jedi with a bright lightsaber, that is). It's probably as equally as effective as the clear blade when fighting in low light, or to remain stealthy in the darkness. Now that is a truly genuine idea.
  24. Suggested weapon to add in KOTOR: I think that an L-shaped lightsaber would be extremely useful, especially if you are in a duel with another Jedi who has only a single-bladed lightsaber. You can turn on only one blade like a single lightsaber. Then while you are fighting your enemy and the long blade of your lightsaber is at a roughly 90-degree angle from the floor, you can switch on the short other blade which will go through the enemy Jedi. If he knows you have an L-shaped lightsaber before he fights you, it would severely limit his moves to fight you; giving you an advantage. Or you can turn both blades on and try fighting like that? Maybe it can even double as a boomerang too because of it's shape and can be much more effective at throwing than single or standard double bladed lightsabers hence it can go faster, slashes more, and is easier to catch?
