Wait, if there are no comebacks, there would also be no Revan, thus no KOTOR 1 and no KOTOR 2, no?
-
Right, like when Vader struck Ben Kenobi down and Kenobi's voice keeps coming back as a ghost or something lol. Well, the Exile still has the Nihilus mask, it kinda sucked that you can only carry it and not put it on. It would probably turn you into Nihilus #2 like Jim Carrey in The Mask.

An easy way to win in any lightsaber battle...

Maybe make it a feat, not unlike critical strike or master flurry. Instead they call this the on-off-on stab. -

Why is that? -

Well, so we can use it in TSL to win any jedi fight of course. -
You know how when two sabers clash with each other, it's like a stand still? Well, if your saber is closer to the enemy's head then his saber is to your head when your sabers clash, all you need to do is: turn your saber off, quickly bring the hilt downwards and point it to his head, and press the on button. The blade should go through his face.

Favorite Light side Jedi from KotOR
Eddo36 replied to macewinduJr.'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Jolee isn't even a light side character, he's neutral. If this thread was about Favorite neutral jedi, I'd pick him. But light side? He doesn't believe in many things a light side Jedi should. -
Enemies may die after each fight, but that doesn't mean his friends won't learn a thing or two from the fight. Maybe they are all wearing visors which are interconnected and there is a control room somewhere that moniters what all the Sith troopers are seeing, or security cams that watch you fight.

Hmmm... do you think that's the reason why you can't have Bastilla do her Battle Meditation each time before a fight? It's simply too big?

Should Revan have an "official" face/storyline?
Eddo36 replied to Eddo36's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, Revan does have a voice in KOTOR. Whenever you switch between party members to him, he says "Yeah?" and "What now?". And when you put him in cloak mode, he says "I'll do my best to avoid." He probably says other things as well, but I didn't explore a whole lot. Also, for those who never played KOTOR, no big deal, they can close their eyes and pick the best-looking option? Or an option that have it all done random? As for the what will he be wearing issue, it's pretty obvoius. Light side he gets Jedi robes or Star Forge robes. Dark side the Darth Revan robes and a red lightsaber. -
We, since not many people liked the cloaking device sytem a whole lot in the first KOTOR, how about new ways for stealth? Such as a camoflauge suit (camoflauge pattern chagnes depending on the environment, like a chameleon system?) or your whole party sneaks around with you like the guys does in Splinter Cell? You do all these flips and hide in the shadows or duck behind objects and roll when the enemy is facing the other way, and your buddies follow you real close? (and if the cover is not big enough for 3 people, then the other two go hide somewhere else, or go prone to stay as hidden as possible) Just that if the party members have low stealth skills then they stumble a lot and make a lot of sound? Or you can throw rocks and cans towards the other side of the enemy so that it makes a sound and distracts him? And you can sneak past the sentry or you can go behind him and do a sneak attack on him? Or anybody got better ideas for a stealth system other than the cloak generator?

I don't have much to say about this, but it's only fitting. There has to be some defense against it. Maybe even catch the lightsaber?

Get an XBox and you won't have to worry about req crap. It will run beautifully and smoothly, two things you rarely see together with a PC unless you just bought the PC for 3 grand.

Well, this would be the ultimate Dark Side power personally superweapon. A force storm was created by Emporer Palpatine and it destroyed his Eclipse super star destroyer, so it must have been a hell of a power. But I guess you would need high, high force power to use it and it can wipe out almost everyone on a planet. Reference: Last paragraph of http://galactic-voyage.com/Dark%20Side-Cap...20Destroyer.htm

Let's be serious and reasonable here, folks. But the problem with that is that a jedi does not use a blaster. When have you seen a jedi master operate a blaster? All they need is a lightsaber and whatever modifications they put on their saber. And a lightsaber gun will give them more of an advantage of a range attack.

It does take a little bit of skill to get enemies to fight, you have to be a little sneaky. But if you're patient and skillful enough, watching them duke it out with each other is well worth the wait. Like in Half-Life and Far Cry, I do my best to get the soldiers and aliens to fight each other. Sometimes watching the battle pumps me up, and I join in the 3 way battle and become the last man standing.

Suggestion: Don't recycle BioEvil!
Eddo36 replied to CastleBravo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
What the heck is BioEvil? I hope you guys aren't talking about BioWare. -
Well maybe different Jedi have different styles/opinions on different things (this wouldn't be the first). As for your second, you can 1) carry 2 lightsabers and use the other one to defend or 2) you throw the lightsaber and then fire it to kill ALL threats. After all, the best defense is a good offense.
-
Well to start with, how about instead of telling me that you think it is a bad idea. why don't you tell me why you think it is a bad idea? Explain all the factors that you think are bad. I just think that it is an innovative new concept to the lightsaber, better than the same old thing each time. A lightsaber and a blaster would be the ultimate weapon. And you can throw the lightsaber in the air at someone, then the blade comes out in mid-air and kills someone else by surprise. How sweet would that be?
-
What makes you think that? I just thought up a good idea while I was sleeping last night and decided to post it. Did I ever ridiculed anybody's post because I didn't believe they were serious? I thought we were all mature enough to have an intellectual discussion about this topic which I took the time to write and post.
-
Alright, I did the search feature and didn't find anything about a lightsaber gun. If I miss anything because I didn't check every post in every thread with vague titles, then my bad. It's basically a lightsaber that can fire it's blade over and over again, you just point the lightsaber at an enemy at long range and the blade shoots out like a really really big blaster blast. It does a lot of damage, however, you have to wait for a while for the lightsaber to recharge. That will leave you defenseless from melee and ranged attacks unless you have two lightsabers. Though the other saber will take the -2 double handed penalty as well while you wait for your first saber to recharge. This option is available for your special lightsaber only if the enemy is far away from you. Otherwise, your character just rushes in and attack with the lightsaber in a melee fight. Thoughts?

Or as I rather do, hide and then kill the winner.
-
Seeing them fight each other never gets boring. Like you can have a Calo Nord fight Darth Bandon because they both want the credit for killing you or something. Just sit back and have popcorn and bet 500 credits on who would win. It will add to the immersiveness.
-
Force confusion was to get enemies of the same side to fight each other. I mean when enemies on different sides meet, they fight.
-
Like lure a group of Sith soldiers to chase you right into a nest of Kath hounds? Then you turn invisible or use master speed and get the hell out of there, while the Sith gets torn up by the Kath hounds? You see enemies fighting each other occasionally in KOTOR, but only scripted scenes. You can't lure one enemy to fight another kind of enemy.
