So far I've completed a Paladin and I'm working on a Rogue/Fighter. Doing almost as much damage with sneak attacks right now as my Paladin was doing with her greatsword, but that won't last forever. I've already got a 25 armour class which is only 2 points below what I had at 20th level last time through and I'm only level 8 right now. Dex bonus and two weapon defense is making up about 80% of my AC right now. :cool: I'm hoping to get some crafting done this time around, but I haven't really found any good gems yet to do some crafting with. I think I have one ruby and a bunch of obsidian. Is there anywhere that I can actually pick up some of the better gems? 3rd time around I'll have to go with a spellcaster of some sort. Probably the Sorceror/Eldritch Knight I was thinking of earlier. :cool:

I ran into that a couple times. Ended up getting into the hundreds of thousands of gold before he stopped selling to me. I ended up just buying some of his better stuff and then continued selling.

Yes, but remember that you are not being fingered "practically randomly." The is the Luskan ambassador that is accusing you. I'm sure if it was just some random person accusing you that it would be dismissed on account of the other person being a jerk or some such.

Tell me something. If you have a witness to the horrible slaughter of an entire village, would you parade this person around in plain sight? And you actually find the witness while looking for evidence to clear your name.

Meta, did you actually read his issue? He was talking about having a problem selecting other characters. You can't just click on the actual character to select them, you need to click on the character's portrait instead.

I've got a 19" CRT. I use 1600x1200 for desktop stuff because I like the extra screen real estate. Never had a problem with small text, although I'm the only one in the house that can read text that small. In the game I've been running at 1024x768. Any lower and all the text gets screwed up. Even at that resolution though it almost murders my 9600 Pro.

I know that my desktop is running at 75Hz. That's as high as it can handle at 1600x1200.

I saw the perform ones, but tumble dialogue checks? Where was that?

vsync has been turned back on. I was getting some weird glitch with it off. All the characters would be moving smoothly, but the backgrounds would "jump." The area would move properly for a moment and then suddenly jump back 10 feet every 3 steps or so. Also, for the ATi people. Right click on the desktop and you should get ATi Catalyst Control Center as the first option right at the top of the menu. From there click on "3D" in the sidebar and then "All Settings." Second setting from the bottom under that would be "Wait for Vertical Refresh." Move the slider over to the far left to turn V-sync off.

Wow! v-sync worked! I've got 15-30 FPS outside now! Hurray! So much better than 12 FPS!

I have a similar ratio. 12FPS Outdoors and 8 indoors. That's with everything turned down to minimum running at 1024 resolution.

why is that such a bad thing? is it because you oppose the kyote agreement in itself or is it a more general approach to the entire issue of global warming? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or perhaps he's objecting to the money pit portion of it?

I heard some speculation about 8-10 being a good point to get the vast majority while browsing Bioware. Not sure how accurate that is though.

Haven't had that happen to me with quest items that are given to you. I've occasionally tried to loot a corpse while I had a full inventory, but everytime I've done that they items in question just end up back on the corpse. Did the item possibly drop to the ground or get passed on to another character?

From what I've gathered the complaints are about the zooming in when you get near a building or something. Never really had a problem with it myself. Some people seem to complain about having to use the arrow keys to move the camera and that makes a really awkward situation for right handed mouse users, although they all seem to overlook the fact that you can remap the camera controls. I think if they altered it so that buildings would fade out like the trees do then that would instantly solve about 50% of the camera complaints. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why use the arrow keys or edge scrolling at all? Middle mouse button works as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because I never remember about the middle mouse button? :"> I was paused so often anyway that it never bothered me to take an addition second or two to rotate the camera.

You can die if your entire party dies. It's like as long as you have one person left you can drag the rest of your parties bloated and decaying corpses back to a temple to raise them, but without the tedious trip back to the city.

I may not be American, but I resent that. I was one of those people during our last provincial election here. I'm not of "questionable character." :'( It counted towards my community service hours for school. Knocking on peoples doors for a few hours/day() > watching over a bunch of young punk kids() at a school fair.
