You could say that. It's very possible that it was a reciprocal deal. She gives you a greatsword, and you give her a little bit of the greatsword know what I mean? yeah! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't take long to find somewhere to use that smilie eh? Neeshka didn't give me a greatsword. I could have used one too as I was still using a plain +1 greatsword at that point. :'(

I was a level 18 Aasimar Paladin when I finished the game. 19th level overall. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How many hours did it take you to finish the OC? I understand this is going to vary for everyone, depending how you play the game. I'm just curious if you thought the game was too long, too short? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I got it on the 1st, but didn't really start playing until the 2nd. I think I easily spent on average between 8-10 hours each day playing the game. So it took me somewhere between 40-50 hours to complete the game and there were a couple things that I didn't do and a few areas that I just ran straight through. I very much enjoyed every minute of the game. I could easily have continued playing for much longer, however compared to what usually passes for a campaign these days it was a much appreciated change of pace to not be able to finish the game over a weekend. Even though I could have contined on, I think the game was a good length for what it set out to do.

They are strategy game. I know there are several people on the boards that have played some of those. There was a group of them running a game of HOI awhile ago. Haven't heard anything about it lately.

I've definately lost sleep to it. I've ended up playing till at least 2am everyday. Played till 6am on Saturday morning. Took me a week to beat it. Much longer than it took me to complete either KotOR which were both completed over a weekend.

Volourn's Wowwy Journey With NWN2:Spoiler Edition

Really? On my system with a P4 3.0 and 1GB memory the load times are excellent. When it loads a particularly large area it may take a little while, but most of the time its quite fast. Compare it to a game like Gothic and it feels like I'm in heaven. (I just wish I could have installed the game on my raptor instead, but the insane patch requirements preventd that from happening). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Another 1.7Ghz processor here and I've got some pretty lousy load times here also. Definately not fast, but it isn't the worst I've seen by any means. Most area transitions are 15-30 seconds while world map transitions can hit over a minute. -
You can't set it to 0, however 0.10 is practically instant.. My computer runs the game so slowly that I figured that the by the time the click registered the mouse had just moved past what I wanted to click on. The select party button would be very much appreciated though.

Volourn's Wowwy Journey With NWN2:Spoiler Edition

Damnit! I would have beaten it before you if my game hadn't crashed! And I think we seem to be going in opposit directions. Started as a Aasimar paladin, going for a human rogue-ish type next. -
There is a setting for that in the options menu under the gameplay tab I think. It's right on the bottom middle of that section I believe.

I had a spell fight in Neverwinter. I suffered a CTD and juste ended up rebooting my computer since it had been a while since I last did that. Problem is it had been an hour and a half since I last saved my game. ARGGGGGHGH <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think my last save was for at least two hours thanks to autosaves not firing when leaving areas...
-
Arg! I just hit my first CTD. Couldn't have come at a worse time to. I was right in the middle of the last fight. Spell effects being thrown everywhere and my FPS dropping down to 0.5 FPS and then BAM! CTD.

All I said was Highcliff.

Not yet. Gimme another day or so. Less if I can get this stupid thing with highcliff fixed. <_<

This bug with the encounter in highfolk is really annoying. I'm trapped behind the wall after There doesn't seem to be any way out and no one will talk to me. It doesn't seem like the cutscene problem as the screen doesn't go black and I've been controlling my main character. Anyone know what's going on here?

You're a little behind in the conversation I think. Thanks anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes, can't de-bug, play, make module for NWN1, work, write, be on forums, and live at the same time <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sure you can! It just takes some practice.

I was watching the game and I can tell you that Toronto totally outplayed Buffalo for most of the game. I was quite surprised to see them doing so well against Buffalo.
-
That's what I've been doing. Helps in those dark dungeons so that I can see where I'm going.

About that second one there. You'll be able to rebuild it eventually. Keep playing and sooner or later you'll be given the option. Back to the first one though: My quest to improve me keep shall have to wait till morning-*notices the time*-er, later morning, because my mouse batteries just died on me and I don't have any more AAA handy.
-
That's good to know. I can lower the intelligence of my character now since he won't need quite so many skills.
-
I'm impressed. I saw a Leafs game tonight that didn't leave me completely bored to tears! Nice going.

I remember them. I think they were the reason that I never completed that area. Never said that I hadn't been there though. Anyway, I haven't finished Act II and I'm already thinking of my next game. I'm really tempted to just roll it up and start now, but I don't want to just leave my Paladin hanging. I'm thinking of going Sorceror10/Eldritch Knight10. That guy in the intro video made me think how sweet it would be to have someone who can lay the smack down with some huge sword while throwing around lightning bolts. It is possible to get the 8 Diplomacy depending on how you spend your skills/feats with a pure spellcaster. For a build like that I think going with sorceror would be a better choice than wizard just because of the way you cast spells can be altered depending on your needs in combat. Only concern is that he would be kinda low on HP. Arg, more I talk about it the more I want to try it. I'll have to go back to my Paladin before I breakdown and reroll.

Hmm, I might have to re-install BG1. I don't think I ever actually completed that area.
