  1. The only episodes of Enterprise that I enjoyed.
  2. I had an entire post written up about how wrong you where. Basically came down to you having the higher AC, but the barb having massive hit point bonuses and a better attack bonus despite the -8 from dual-wielding, but finally realized the whole thing was pointless to compare unless we had actual stats for the two characters. The balance shifted a little more when I realized that the barb could forgo the fortification since he's already immune to your sneak attacks and the increased AC would be of more use that not having to worry about Crits on a weapon that wouldn't deal as much damage on a crit as the barbs would on a regular hit.
  3. Yeah, but your base damage would be all of 1d4 while his character is doing 2d6 or 1d12. He has triple weapon damage for his attacks. And his chance to hit would probably be pretty close with the BAB that you lose from the rogue levels.
  4. Some heavy fortification armour would take care of that.
  5. If you don't have a heart, wouldn't that make it easier to tell him? You know you want to...
  6. That's craptacular feat selection for a powergamer. Why is he using two different weapons? That just means that he has to spread out his feats needlessly instead of concentrating them on one weapon.
  7. I can't believe I just read that entire thread. The stupidity was overwhelming. I was torn between laughing and crying for all 9 pages,
  8. And Fallout Fans think they have it bad...
  9. Stop raping my childhood!
  10. I just discovered that as long as I don't die I can do quite well at Geometry Wars. The moment I lose one life, I apparently lose any and all skill at the game and will lose the rest of them over the course of the next 30 seconds. I managed to get up to 500k points without losing a life and then lost 7 lives in less than a minute.
  11. GOLD Please note: NOT family friendly gold. I've only hit page four and I already can't see how someone could be that stupid.
  12. Insta-gib turn undead is much more useful. Even if I have Viconia I don't use her for Turn Undead. I just have her cast False Dawn a couple times. Even better is Aerie with spell sequencers loaded with 3x false dawn. 18d6 vs Undead.
  13. Buff him up and he can do pretty well against non-undead as well. EDIT: I'm playing Geometry Wars on the PC right now. It was released over Steam today for $2.50. I've only once made it over 50k points so far.

    Enjoying myself wholeheartedly.

This is the most entertaining thread I've read today.
  16. Doesn't mean she can't be annoying. Anomen is another one that makes a damn good fighter, but is still pretty annoying.
  17. I'm appalled. You guys almost let this drop off the first page. I think we need to break out the whips though. There hasn't been any progress made in several days!
  18. I know Keldorn and Viconia will fight. I think Korgan will make Aerie leave, but doesn't kill her. Can't think of anything other than that. I never knew Xzar was Megatron. I had to go look that up just now to see if it was true and it is! Apparently he voiced 10 or so characters.
  19. If you can stand having Aerie in your party...
  20. The sun is my enemy. Always too bright, always too hot, and always shining in my eyes at the worst possible moments. Heck, it manages to be annoying even on cloudy days. I can't wait for winter. The sun lovers enjoy this time of year, but I love the dark rainy days of winter. Come to think of it, the only weather I don't like is a snowstorm. You suck. Snowstorms are awesome. The worst weather is the half assed stuff. Light rain, light snow, overcast skies, that kind of stuff. If you're going to do something then do it properly.
  21. The best conversation in any of the games has to be the slayer sandwich.
  22. No. That was the Ring of Acuity. Gave you extra 2nd, 3rd and 4th level spells. I think the Ring of Wizardry gave extra 5th, 6th and 7th level spells. IIRC you could have your apprentices craft that as part of the Mage Stronghold.
  23. The most useful thief ring I can think of was the Ring of Lockpicks which gave you a decent bonus to lock picking, oddly enough. :D The only ring with a higher bonus was the really expensive Mercykiller's ring, but it only gave a bonus to snares and hiding. Invisibility spell > stealth. The only vital mage rings I can think of were the ones that gave bonuses to spells.
  24. Imoen already had enough thiefy skills for just anything that you would run across in the game. There were a couple rings, a few boots, a pair of gloves and some armour (bye-bye spell casting) that would increase thiefy skills though. You could save the one thief, but that required you to kinda cheat and required you to know about what was going to happen before hand.
