The sister does that too. I'm sitting at 0% corruption right now. Going for a fully 0% campaign before I restart and try to get that 100% corruption.

I went to see Live Free or Die Hard today. As an action movie I thought it was really nice, however the whole plot to steal everything was really poorly thought out and such a thing would never be possible in real life, because I can't imagine a government being that stupid.

Has anyone confirmed this yet? I liked Preissing. Bertuzzi is back with Brian Burke with a two year contract with the ducks. Have to see if he can stay healthy. Montreal signed Smolinski and Hamrlik. I think they overpaid Hamrlik though at $5.5 million for 4 years.

Yup. Battler Beetles give you yellow souls for your brown minions. Each beetle fight in the dungeon gives you 25 beetles to fight and each beetle gives 3 souls. The battlers can be a little difficult if you don't have your weapon upgraded. If it is upgraded then just wade in there without any minions and start smacking them around. If you don't have any minions with you, then you don't lose anything if you die.

The best way to get souls is in the dungeon. Automatically heals you after the fight. Beating up the beatles (Battler, Puff, Dazzler and Magma) nets you 75 souls.

Sometimes, I'm walking through water and I give my minions an order to get something on land. However, they attempt to take the same route I did and try to walk through the water. This generally results in a large part of my horde drowning. I've never had them do that. Unless I try to sweep them, they won't go into water. I'm mainly talking about giant slugs and flamethrowers. Flamethrowers can kill your entire horde while being attacked. Though I might have an idea on how to properly deal with them. Giant slugs and flamethrowers need to be attacked from the rear. The flamethrowers can even kill your overlord relatively quickly if you aren't careful. They are a lot easier once you upgrade your weapon with +damage bonuses. With +150 fire damage if I see a giant slug or flamethrower I keep my horde back and kill them myself. Just keep trying to get around behind them and you should be fine. I've had minions occasionally run into the water and drown. Whether or not they drown for me seems to depend on how many get sent in at a time. If it's just one or two, they will more often than not drag themselves back up onto land. If the whole horde goes in a good 3/4 of them will drown on me. Never leave home without at least a couple blues. I've been harvesting souls from the dungeon to get more minions to sacrifice for my equipment upgrades. My weapon is fully upgraded, but I need another 800 browns to finish upgrading my armour with +100 damage resistance.

Probably won't be packed for those evening showings tomorrow.

Here is my slightly upgraded tower now. The big statues are shiny, the throne and fires are bigger and the smaller statues have grown wings. I could replace the red carpet with white marble but I didn't think it looked very good so I didn't bother with that. In addition I have a new helmet and a flaming sword. It does 105 extra fire damage. I can set fire to trees and kill almost everything in two hits. I'm getting a lot closer to the end now. Unfortunately I'm getting my butt kicked by the guy below. His name is Khan and he can two shot me right now. I think I may have to do some minion farming so that I can upgrade my armour and weapons a little more. KHAAAAAAN!

Is that the "explosive" edition or something? I've got the original collectors edition and it has the music video but not the CIA interview. On the other hand I get extra commentary tracks.

I just hit the desert. Having some difficulty with all the super hard They've killed about half of my brown minions so far including all the really upgraded ones that I took through the dwarf area. They ate my browns that were wearing slug heads as helmets. :sad:

Had to ask on the official forums to figure out what I was missing, but now I'm on my way. My jester has added "Slayer of Perverted Paladin!" to his list.

Still working my way through Overlord. I've forged a new set of Durium equipment recently and lost 25 heavily armed and armoured brown minions. :sad: They cut through zombies like a knife through butter, but the dwarven flamethrower guard roasted them all. I guess that's what I get for trying to take him head on. This may take longer than I initially thought if I can't figure out how I'm supposed to get into the stupid castle. I'm really starting to wish the game had a good map.

How is it so far? Up until I reached the city I was having a lot of fun. I managed to get a hold of all 4 types of minions, slaughtered several hundred halflings and contemplating the re-extinction of the emo elves. The gameplay doesn't have much variation and there is a fair bit of back tracking when you discover that you don't have the right type of minion for the job. I think I might be about half way through the second area at the 10 hour mark. That would put total playtime for the first run through in the 25-30 hour range. I think I may have to purchase a new graphics card as Heaven's Peak brings my computer to a standstill even on lowest settings. My 9600 Pro ran the game at just under the 30FPS cap for the first area and only struggled in the foggy sections of area 2.
