Years ago when I played my first multiplayer game(Quake, I think, or maybe Hexen...), I had to pick something so I picked this. I doesn't have anything to do with anything though. The avatar is my favourite IWD portrait.

Are you kidding? The AI in Civ3 does cheat but you have a huge advantage on the easiest level. Things did get a bit harder with the expansions, but Chieftain level was really easy. I remember that for me Regent was where things started to get hard in Civ3. The trick on the easier levels is to expand as quickily as possible.

It doesn't matter if civ3 is a crap game. The "just one more turn" psychology gets me everytime.

This thread seems to be about how you define RPGs. Are RPGs about rules and stats, or about options and openendedness? I choose the second option and as such, to me, GTA is more of an RPG than Diablo.

I think The Da Vinci Code is an awful book, with one dimensional characters and a plot twist that made me cringe when I first read it.

To me, the problem with Jersey Girl was not Affleck and J Lo but that it was a lot worse than other Kevin Smith movies. To my mind, there is a huge difference in quality between Jersey Girl and Chasing Amy. Have you seen Chasing Amy?

I'm not sure about this anymore, but I think CRTs are still the best option for gaming, unless, of course, you have a problem with space. And anyway CRTs are cheaper.

To be more specific about the battle against Malak, all it took was buffing myself up as much as possible and wailing on him until he died.

I thought Malak was easier than the end bosses in all rpgs by Bioware and Black Isle.

There were two things that I found strange in this review: 1. The reviewer states that the story isn't as good as in KOTOR1 but everything he mentions about it seems to make KOTOR2's story better and not worse. 2. The writer says that the final battle is a lot easier than the battle against Malak which he thinks was a very hard battle. But, wasn't the final battle of KOTOR1 very easy compared to other RPGS?

My favourite movies of the year up to now were Lost in Translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Kill Bill. I'm also waiting for Garden State. I'll only see it in 2005 though. >_
