  1. Well, this article feels like a bit of a downer as far as the gameplay is concerned... All the talk about the simplified stealth and combat makes it sound like game world won't react a whole lot to the player's choices, and therefore that those choices generally won't have overarching consequences.I'd like the game's narrative to play out differently depending on how you get through the missions. Also, this tendency to take away the realism part of the game, seems really unfortunate. It makes that earlier Syriana quote seem a little pointless. On the up side, the dialog sounds mighty fine to me. As long as there isn't an actual timer on screen for the dialogue, that is. A few of questions for the devs: How linear will each specific mission be? Will each mission have different paths, different entry points, different exit points? Do the missions end when when you get to your objective, or do you then have to escape the facility you infiltrated? How is the dialogue integrated with the combat sections? Will there be options to bluff your way into buildings during missions, for example? Will there be non combat missions? A mission where you have to go into a casino, ingratiate yourself with the female croupier of your choice, and use her to get past the casino guards, for example.
  2. Perhaps it would be best if you sent them to anyone who requested them.
  3. So what happened to the scans?
  4. I know that EA has that evil reputation to maintain, but isn't child labor a bit too much?
  5. I enjoyed Death Proof a great deal, as well but, as Kor said, a lot of people didn't like it. It has one of the best car chases I've ever seen. It's just fantastic. Also, Zo

I'm pretty sure he isn't dead.
  7. This storyline will only be worthy if she tells Jason to piss off after he resurrects her.
  8. Well, if Microsoft stopped supporting XP, I wouldn't really notice. I only download OS updates when I actually need them.
  9. As I haven't bought an actual whole computer in 6 or 7 years, and won't do so for the next few years, I guess I'm sticking with XP until Vista stops being supported by Microsoft, or something.

Ecko sucks, anyway. He lost a chess match to Hurley, of all people.
  11. Hum.... The question is, should I buy a copy and not install it so I can use the pirated copy legally. I'll probably wait and see if BioWare releases a DRM-light version, although that will mean no Mass Effect until then. well, you can register a bought game, and use a ...'bugger free' version of the game, that way you should be able to use it just like the other game (if it is not changing the checksum ofc) There's an heterosexual version of Mass Effect? >_
  12. My question is why would anyone even try Vista. XP never ever crashes for me, is quite fast and runs every single Windows application out there. I have nothing against Vista, however there's nothing I want about Vista either.

I'd trust an actual slug's taste in food before I'd trust an American's taste in food.

  15. NIN - Demon Seed It's free and it's good!
  16. That does sound silly, especially as BG&E was very accessible to begin with. Here's hoping that's just marketing-speak.
  17. Most of Ubi's games usually come out for PC.
  18. Yeah, Lazenby was its big problem. But Diana Rigg instantly negates that.
  19. What exactly is that blurry thing?
  20. It depends on the brand, I think, although my first sennheisers went bust rather quickly, despite having quite good sound quality. My most recent Pioneers have been going strong, though.
  21. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/34509.html Oh, yes.
  22. The guy who plays Lee Adama is a pretty awful actor.
  23. She's going to have a baby!
