  1. I'm having fun. With a fighting game. O 'ell! BTW, how does this game compare with others of the genre? I'm thinking Street Fighter, Samurai Showdown, and Fatal Fury games. Since I'm not too keen on the genre - though Guilty Gear is trying to change that, the rat bastard - is it better for me to do some venturing into its roots or am I playing the best of the genre? Also, Street Fighter IV looks like it will rock. Um, I was also trying to play Hexplore, but I can't make it work on my PC. Right now, I'd say you're playing the best there is. It's similar in style to Samurai Shodown, another quite awesome game. IV in particular gave me loads of enjoyment. As for Street Fighter, I've always been a huge fan but I can understand how it might seem a little archaic compared to Guilty Gear. I've never liked Fatal Fury all that much.
  2. DMC4 all maxed out and running beautifully on my PC. Unfortunately, I can't figure out a way to take screenies other than by using Print Screen and paint.
  3. Devil May Cry 4's demo for PC. Absolutely forking awesome. And gorgeous too. I did this thing where I kicked the snot out of a baddie with my sword until he was thrown back and, right at the same time, I used one of my powers to pull him back instantly, grab him with one hand and smash the little twerp on the ground. Better than sex. Imagine if JE's combat was like this.
  4. And this is, of course, what will happen to Portugal in the later stages of the tournament. The referee is a joke, by the way.
  5. There's some awesome stuff around already. Check RPS's news post about it. My mouse wheel is dead, does anyone know of a away to change the body's girth without it?
  6. Oh, yes! So, lets see who makes the most awesome creatures. I'm downloading the creator right now. There's over 13000 creatures already. Interesting tidbit: Edit: Here's Hot Stuff!
  7. I should start an oracle business.
  8. What are you talking about? They were instrumental in helping Starbuck realise how to find Earth. In a sense. I wouldn't ever call them useful, important or powerful, though. There's absolutely no differentiating them from humans, and it really better be expanded in the next 'season'. I'd say that what makes them special isn't their power or usefulness, but rather that they are so human. BSG is obviously a story about xenophobia, and I'm betting they are the ones that will make everyone, both human and cylon, start doubting their own prejudices. Isaac Asimov would be proud.
  9. It's quite awesome. It just sucks that it doesn't have multiplayer on the PC.
  10. See Portugal in Euro 96 and 2000 and the 1966 World Cup, or Holland in Euro 2000, and in the 1998, 1978 and 1974 World Cups, or especially Hungary in 1954.
  11. Switzerland [0] v Portugal [2] Turkey [1] v Czech Republic [2] Poland [1] v Croatia [0] Austria [0] v Germany [3] Holland [0] v Romania [1] France [1] v Italy [2] Greece [1] v Spain [2] Russia [0] v Sweden [1]
  12. You mean safe from all your lovin'!!!
  13. And none of those teams will win it in the end.
  14. I think the Swedes were adversely affected by Ibrahimovic's absence.
  15. Now there's a movie you could get inspiration from for AP.
  16. Holland is doing too well in the group stages, to stand any real chance of passing the quarters. They'll be eliminated by a lackluster Russia or Sweden.
  17. because they're usually so awful that they just seem like wasted development time. Giving you Bastila as a romance option but, no means to skewer her just reeks of bad design, for instance.
  18. I believe they will beat Austria. But if they do, they'll be in second place which would mean that Portugal would face them in the quarters. Disaster!
  19. Unless Germany completely fails to qualify, this is really bad news to Portugal.
  20. 49% chance of survival only. I live in a densely packed city, without a gun, and only enough food reserves for a few days. My lack of morals wouldn't be enough to save me. Also, I'd look longingly at my loved one before shooting her in the noggin, which is usually a fatal mistake.
