  1. Those are some awful graphics.
  2. So, how long until the stupid is modded out?
  3. What kind of retarded design decision is that? Is it a bug?
  4. It depends, really. Personally, I think strategy console games, like Tactics Ogre or Fire Emblem would work a lot better with a keyboard and mouse setup.
  5. I have, like, 200
  6. I buckled and ordered this, for 30
  7. Well, Hironobu Sakaguchi, basically hasn't done anything interesting, ever, and he still got a top 10 spot. Which I predicted, by the way.
  8. BGamer. Yes, but you only get to see the cover on the website. Edit: Or rather, actually you get to see the first two pages of the article, which are useless.
  9. I'm not sure if that means you like it. I just listened to the album that's from and it was pretty forgettable. Of course, I am going senile. What do you mean, "going"? Don't tell me you forgot it again? It's the awesome riff, by the way.
  10. Yep, that's it. The blade is similar to the one in the following picture, except that Thorton's is longer.
  11. So, the most recent issue of BGamer, a Portuguese magazine that doesn't completely suck anymore, has Alpha Protocol on its cover. And, on the magazine's insides there's a juicy new interview with Ryan Rucinski and quite a few screenshots and bits of artwork I don't recall having seen before. I don't know if any of the "new" stuff has appeared in other magazines. Here's the info that I think is new or that is already known but still awesome: Usually consequences aren't immediately apparent, and seem to be of the kind which determine how certain people and groups view your character. the article indicates that there are four different weapon makers in addition to the four different weapons weapon mods location based damage. It doesn't mention if this includes limb crippling. Hand to hand combat can be lethal or just leave people unconscious Avoiding enemies can be tech based or stealth based Artwork and screenies: There's a bunch of portraits of people you'll meet in the game. These include the trenchcoat guy, a chick eating bubblegum and sporting round cleavage, a Germanic looking man with glasses and a scarf, the girl with purple hair, a big burly guy with a medal hanging from his neck, a business man, a guy with tattoos wearing a pink jacket, and a dirty and sleazy looking guy wearing an apron. In the screenies I don't remember seeing there's Thorton about to kick a security guy in the face, Thorton getting on a ship with Cyrillic characters on it, Thorton about to stealth kill a guy with a slick looking knife, and the purple hair girl. I think that's it. I'll try to find out if posting scans of the artwork is allowed.
  12. hahaha. You'll have to wait a bit longer.
  13. Actually, I have new info. Thread incoming!
  14. Personally, if Levine was as important to its overall design as it seems, I think System Shock 2 by itself warrants a very high regard for the guy. He could spend the rest of his career making porn versions of Solitaire, and even then he would still be one of The Awesome Ones. And anyway, System Shock isn't the only good thing he has done.
  15. Propagandhi - And We Thought That Nation States Were A Bad Idea I can't stop listening to this.
  16. Kojima will probably be in the top 10 too. And perhaps Ken Levine because Bioshock is in fashion. Gabe Newell will be there for sure, as well. Also, Sakaguchi and Carmack. Oh, and Warren Spector. With these and yours we have the 10 places filled. Personally, I think Doug Church and Yasumi Matsuno both deserve a spot, but they won't get one. Edit: Well, I just checked the latest entries, and Ken Levine has shown up, already.
  17. Actually, that's not the one. the one I'm talking about was in a street off the beaten path, had almost no customers, and the owner seemed like he was actively trying to not get customers. And if my memory doesn't fail me a two flavour cone was something like 4 euros. Also, still better than any ince cream shop in Rome.
  18. If you are on the internet and you're not complaining, then you are not doing it right! Ok. The best Ice cream shop is in Rome and I'm furious with all the other ice cream shops because they're not as good as the one in Rome! In fact I'm going to boycott all other ice cream shops until they're as good as the one in Rome. That'll show them! I'm sorry but the best ice cream shop is in Firenze not Rome, and is managed by a guy who always looks like someone just killed his pet.

It seems to me like there is two tiers among the levels of power behind the curtain, with Linus and Widmore being less powerful upstarts who are trying to take definite control of the island. The really powerful ones are Alpert, Hawking and, of course, Jacob. It seems to me like these three have always been dismissive of Benjamin Linus, and as for Widmore, I think he rebelled against the rest of the Others, in order to take the island for himself.
  20. LIES! It is easily THE best chase scene in gaming history. I had trouble getting through it at first because I couldn't stop giggling and laughing and thinking "NOWAY!" Anyway, humour can go a really long way in making a game work. Most adventure games had seriously atrocious gameplay that was completely and utterly mitigated by the awesomely funny writing.

The bald guy already guessed Nathan has abilities. I also agree with Oerwinde's girlfriend on Parkman's capture. It's like the show is written by mentally impaired people.
