It can serve as a warning for how out of control socialism can get. It also helps demonstrate that the "Socialist care about the poor; the capitalists only care about the rich!" narrative is BS. Well, yeah, I really don't think that much debate is needed to come to that conclusion. We don't have to look at nazi Germany for that, we can just look at Venezuela. The very broad definition of socialism used in this thread is making the discussion rather silly. Nazi Germany and modern day Sweden have very, very little in common. But suddenly we have to condemn Sweden for being "socialist" because the nazi's once called themselves national socialists. It just makes any meaningful conversation impossible.

Come now, I can think of a couple of people who with a more apathetic lifestyle could have made the world a better place. I'm with Nonek. If you really think there is some sort of niche audience of gamers, be it female, homosexual etc. which at the moment is not getting the games it deserves, start up a company and go make those games. If the market is there, and the game is good, it'll be a big hit.
