Appreciated. Didn't finish the survey just in case so all good. -
Wouldn't that make them LESS evil sounding? And in any case I don't think racist sounds any more innocuous. Hearing them makes me more angry than they used to, and people take them just as serious, so you have people wrongly thinking people are racists just because they don't think a black guy should play Johnny Storm. that's pretty evil.

Racist and Misogynist. They're just overused and flung about willy nilly for harmless stuff. They used to be used to describe stuff like the KKK and abusive men, and now they're just blanket terms used to describe people who don't like change. There are also huge double standards with their use.

Reading Princess of Mars. I really liked the John Carter movie and the first 6 or so books are free on the kindle store so I snagged them. So far enjoying it, John Carter is much less everyman and much more well spoken and intelligent in the book than in the movie, but so far the movie kept pretty close to the spirit.

I've backed a bunch, but the only one I've actually got was the movie Shadow Cabal, which considering it was a big epic fantasy indie flick, actually turned out not too bad. I was expecting it to be a lot worse than it was. Banner Saga comes out in like 3 weeks, I hope it doesn't disappoint, especially because I backed at a level based on the promise of future installments.

Which is to say the classification is unneccesary and superfluous. They also do not serve their purpose very well because, as you agreed, most people won't even know what it means except for those in the know. Besides that, they are treated as settings or genres when they are only look & feel classifications. Whereas "science fiction" tells you the type of thing it is, going "no it's not, it's cybergoth" just clouds the issue by pointing out outlying design elements instead of the core of what something is. So to me these classifications are incredibly problematic and limiting - because selling something as a steampunk setting limits you to things with the steampunk aesthetic, whereas telling a fantasy story with steampunk elements, for example, will be much more interesting. I'd like to see a low-magic fantasy setting with a steampunk/clockpunk combo techlevel/style, keep the aesthetic bright and optimistic, but the story and themes darker to contrast.

Before they revealed what Regina's price was I was like "WTF?! Are they seriously going to kill the only two characters I watch this show for!?" Edit: Wait, forgot Hook, I watch it for 3 characters.

Hot Fuzz is still my favorite, but while after watching Worlds End I put it last, as it sinks in its slowly moving passed Shaun of the Dead.

Hrmm, article from May, wonder why I don't remember any discussion. Style is reminiscent of Final Fantasy.

So has anyone noticed most of the job postings on Obsidian's page are for making a "Highly stylized MMORPG"? I wish them well, but this is likely the first Obsidian game I don't buy.

A 3XL would be appreciated too, usually 2XL is either too short or not wide enough. Because if you're tall you must be skinny, or if you're fat you must be short, because clothes are only made for short fat people or tall skinny people. I'd like a tall fat option please. -
Peter Jackson confirmed once he's done with the Hobbit, he's moving on to the Tintin sequel. This makes me happy.

So the Arrow midseason finale had the origins of Solomon Grundy and Flash, introduced Ollie's mask, and introduced Slade Wilson as the big bad of the season. Not too shabby.

Also, US residents who were registered rejoice, because your chances of getting a prototype increased by having all registered international applicants deemed inelligible. I wonder how many people that cut from the pool. I want to say it's likely a fairly large chunk of people. I saw a large volume of people complaining about the last minute switch in comment sections and other forums. I feel like my "Steam Hardware Beta Candidate" badge is nothing but a filthy lie now. I can't imagine what kind of regulatory hurdles there are to allow them to ship them outside the US that would delay the beta by a significant time. I figured they juat had to pay more for shipping.

Castle would say otherwise

But without Scarlet it was G.I. Joe IN NAME ONLY. Not to mention Roadblock ordering Flint around.

You are not alone. Fun Fact, disney was going to add cartoon Giselle to the disney princess line, but Amy Adams wanted them to pay for likeness rights.

He is that big of a prick, but that was a satirical article. The quote about him being the first black rapper made me question its truth. Sadly, I had to get that far to question it.

Closest thing to a radio drama I've listened to is some old Goon Show, this should be interesting...
