I think the settings should be separate from the ruleset for licensing. Like if they license Dungeons and Dragons, the game can include D&D in the title, but someone else can license Forgotten Realms, or Dark Sun and use the setting name in the title. Or someone could do a FR game with an original rule set if they like.

"Tulip O'Hare, Jesse's beer guzzling vampire ex-girlfriend..." And this show is a non-starter. You can't combine Tulip and Cassidy, not when their interactions are so important to the story. Artistic license? Someone like me who doesn't know the original story wouldn't know any different so it could still be excellent Its like adapting Spider-Man and merging Mary Jane and Harry Osbourne into a single character.

Not just games. Copyright terms across the board are far too long. I think I read somewhere that the term used to be 30 years, with the option for the original creator (not the current rights holder)to extend it for another 30 year term. I think that's fair.

I tried reinstalling Dragon Age: Origins with Origin, and none of my DLC will download. Its showing up as purchased, but none of it will download.

New Kickstarter incoming

The biggest problem I had with Universe is it ignored established rules to create tension. Since when do gates have a range? In SG1 and Atlantis, any gate in a galaxy could reach any other gate in the same galaxy, yet for some reason, these gates, which were newer and had remotes could only reach 1 or 2 other gates, and the Destiny could somehow only gate within the solar system it was in. -
I grabbed Amalur. Its like a single player WoW with fun combat. Which is fitting as it was essentially a proof of concept setting up their MMO.

that's where my kids are. I have one 5 and one 2, 2 yr olds obsession is Mickey though. Luckily we can access US netflix so his only Mickey fix isn't Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I've found some of the older stuff on DVD at Christmas for them. They really liked the Donald/Huey, Louie & Dewey stuff; but not Duck Tales all that much. Perhaps later. Amazon had Ducktales, Tale Spin, and Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers for 6 bucks a season around Boxing Day, so I snagged all of them. Gummi Bears is their favorite though.

For any UK readers here, Marvel is doing a mini called Revolutionary War featuring the old Marvel UK characters from the 90s. Deaths Head, Dark Angel, Captain Britain, Knights of Pendragon, etc.

So CM Punk quit WWE over Batista coming back from a 4 year absense to getting to headline Wrestlemania. 3 top guys in the company in terms of popularity are probably in order: Daniel Bryan, John Cena, and CM Punk. Bryan got shafted at Royal Rumble, and despite being the most popular superstar since Steve Austin, he's reportedly getting a midcard match with Sheamus at Wrestlemania for the 3rd year in a row or some crap. Punk is pissed that the roster is full of guys who work their asses off for a chance at WM, but they all get bumped for part-timers who don't have to put the work in, but get paid more than the rest of the roster, and guys like Bryan ddon't get the opportunities their popularity warrants because the higher ups feel they're too small.

I just found that one particular DC animated flick to be unwatchably bad, so seeing it get recommended is like seeing someone recommend Gigli. I used to be cooler headed but I'm a bit of a personality sponge and I've soaked up a lot of my co-worker over the years and he's a big ball of flaming rage. that's where my kids are. I find it the other way around. Stuff I really enjoyed while watching alone, I will try to show to people and suddenly I see all the flaws.

Trying to do some fantasy casting in my head and all I can come up with is Bill Nighy as Merlin.

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/movienewsandreviews/news/?a=93554 WB wants Guy Ritchie to do a 6 film King Arthur series. If even one of them is as good as Excalibur I will be happy.

Got around to watching the finale of Sleepy Hollow, holy crap that was nuts! I figured there would be some sort of twist but god damn. Also, tonights Lost Girl was pretty intense.

Kotaku doesn't seem to be a fan of Kickstarter. It seems like every time a kickstarter game is delayed, they have to write a big article on how disappointing kickstarter is and how its failed everyone.

My experience is little bit dated, but don't suppose to designate the cell type :/ I had to change it to text. I didn't have much experience with it. Google just said if its designated as a number cell it removes leading or trailing zeroes, when I looked into why it would automatically alter what you enter by design, there were no answers.

Like Excel removing my lead zeros. If I didn't want them I wouldn't enter them buttholes.

My girlfriend described it as True Blood minus the nudity. I said "what the point then"? She agreed.

I got a 90% off coupon for Iron Sky: Invasion, so currently killing space Nazis. Gameplay similar to Wing Commander, but with the ridiculous setting of Iron Sky. Production values are pretty good. Even got the actress who played the President to reprise her role in cutscenes.

I forgot about those. But I meant their Sam & Max games and such. They kept dropping qualitywise per game after S&M Season 2. Usually the funny could cope up with that (like Monkey Island), but... lacking funny. Or a good story. Yeah. The walking dead IS QTE. That's all there is to it.I could excuse it with a good story (Think Fahrenheit before the obvious missing content block), but... The Walking Dead's one is pretty avarage. Which was shocking to conclude after all those raving reviews. Maybe no reviewers ever play RPG's that "a or b" is seen as interactivity, even if the very next episode it's either unified for the players, or just completely discarded you ever made a choice... The next episode is never unified in TWD. Your choices carry over to each episode and are often referenced several times.

I don't get people calling Brave a rip off of Brother Bear. Someone gets turned into a bear in both, that's aboit all they have in common

Which? The big betrayal , where you can't do anything to prevent it at that point. So i had to load back 2 or 3 chapters and never took the damn characters along. I just didn't want to lose a useful character compared to someone i only used to get a trophy. I was lucky, I think the family man warrior he kills he only does so if you have him in your party, and only if you don't have Egil, so he only tried killing Oddleif in my game since Egil died while I was escaping my village in chapter 2, and I took warrior brother with me, not family-man brother.
