Comixology has sales all the time. 99 cent days etc. For some reason its not as exciting getting a single $4 issue of a comic for 75% off as it is getting a $20 game. The only stuff I bought on comixology on sale was when the Incorruptable and Irredeemable digital omnibuses were on for $9 each. (regularly like 40). Unfortunately Irredeemable had 2 omnibuses so I'm stalled on that series until the 2nd one hits a similar price.

Papers Please. I gave up now that they have the identity supplements. I was having enough trouble keeping 3 documents in order, 4 there just isn't enough room to check everything. Started letting people through with like 3 discrepencies in their ID.

I'm with Hiro. Moffat also managed to make River and the Weeping Angels boring by the end of Matt Smith's run. Moffat's ru has some good stuff, The Pandorica episodes I liked, along with the one where Amy was stuck in the faster timestream, but overall I liked the tone and storytelling of the RTD episodes better. I also really liked Torchwood (though Miracle Day was like 6 episodes too long)

I actually enjoyed The Bureau quite a bit. Maybe it was because I played it BEFORE XCOM: Enemy Unknown and had no expectations for what it was supposed to be like. But it's certainly a game I enjoyed playing through (even did a second play through). I'm thinking I'm going to have the same problem I had with X:EU, always taking my best guys so when one is injured or dies I'm stuck with a rookie.

Played a bunch of The Bureau last night after paying 4 bucks for it on the sale. Kind of a mix of Mass Effect and Xcom: Enemy Unknown, but in the 60s, like it so far. Only complaint is some of the weird faces.

Snagged Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion and The Bureau. Add it to the backlog. Keeping my eyes open for bigger sales on EU4 dlc and Walking Dead s2 and Wolf Among Us.

Is The Bureau: Xcom Declassified worth $4?

I think what I liked most about the BIS forums was that the devs were part of the community. Even Feargus posted semi-regularly What happened to Puuk?

Just found out the guy who played Peter Gregory on Silicon Valley died 5 episodes into filming the series. that's a huge blow to the show, as he was definitely one of the better characters

GMG had the Overlord pack for 5 bucks, so I've been playing that all weekend.

I was born in 82, so I read mostly 80s and 90s and watched the cartoons that's the rumor. He was a major part of age of apocalypse. What would be sweet would be to gt Mojo for the flick after.

When I think X-Men villains I think Magneto, Apocalypse, Mr Sinister, and Sentinels. Kinda crazy we had to go through 6 movies to get Sentinels, and 7 to get Apocalypse and Mr Sinister.

Justice League War, pretty good, but if these are accurate portrayals of DCs New 52 characters... WTF. Green Lantern was a prick, Superman was a prick, Captain Marvel/Shazam was a prick. Not cool DC.

I never got the appeal of soccer. Hockey is much more exciting to watch. I am impressed with the stamina of soccer players though.

Its been so long I don't even remember half the people from back then that didn't migrate here.

Whats happened with Steam for me, is I buy so much for stupid cheap, like 75-80% off, or through Humble Bundle, getting 6 games for $5 or whatnot, that I have such a backlog that when a game I want comes out at full price, I have plenty to play to keep me busy until it also hits 75% off.

My problem is ebooks used to be bang for your buck. Amazon used to sell ebooks for $4-5, with the Canadian dollar at Parity, that meant books for my kindle were half the price of a physical book, and I didn't need to buy a new bookshelf to hold them all. Since publishers started setting the price, now its $10 for ebooks, and often cheaper for physical books. Publishers try to justify it by saying manufacturing and distribution are negligible costs and formatting the ebooks for various ereaders is more expensive. Which is ridiculous. Books are the anti-steam. Steam drove the price of PC gaming to where pirating makes no sense. Amazon was doing that for ebooks before the publishers stepped in.

The big racial slur against white people now is Racist. Because most white people get pretty offended at being called racist, and despite studies showing modern white countries being the most tolerant on earth, there is still this stupid idea that only white people can be racist.

It's essentially like buying a real book and then giving it to your friends to read it, Honestly, how many centuries old is the custom of lending a book/lawnmower/whatever to your friend without it being a crime? Do we have to start now? I mean yeah, it's a very blurry issue with the advent of digital posessions, but if my sister could lend me a novel (which is you know, her property now) without the police crashing the door down, that would be great. And here is the problem, you pay 10 bucks for a book, and you can lend it out, you buy an ebook for 10 bucks and you can't do that without handing over an expensive electronic device, deprivig you of the rest of your ebooks, or making a copy, which is illegal. So charging for ebooks the same as physical books, which is what is happening now that publishers instead of retailers are setting prices, is ridiculous.

So apparently Marvel doesn't have a very good relationship with Fox, as they are actively trying not to promote the Fox movies with comics. They are supposedly starting to push the Inhumans as a replacement for X-men, and may go as far as cancelling their Fantastic Four titles so as not to help promote the upcoming FF movie. Rumor started with FF and X-men characters being absent from a Marvel 75th anniversary book, and a leaked memo for trading card artists not to use any characters from or relating to the FF in an upcoming card set. Comicbookmovie.com seems to think its to try to get the FF rights back by devaluing the brand.

Yeah, just looking at the cartoon it didn't appear racist to me. I may be off base, but my underatanding is that the racism card is pulled quite often by incompetent black south africans against white south africans when their incompetence is pointed out to them.

Wil comes off as a regular dude who got roped into hosting rather than a professional actor. His delivery was meh and he laughed too often at his own jokes. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

I like tea. What brand or type doesn't really matter. I've never had a tea I didn't like.

Tetley had an Orange Pekoe with added caffeine to match the levels found in coffee, called Perk. Our house lived on it. Then they took it away from us.
