As stated, it adds like 40-50 minutes of content, all of it making the film much better. Adds more back story to the characters which makes their actions make much more sense. (Balian was an engineer for the French army, which is why he knew how to build complex irrigation systems and such for example.), Eva Green's character has a son, who would be the heir to Edward Norton's character, and how that is dealt with is rather important. That entire storyline wasn't in the theatrical. Basically its just a much better and more complete film. Its also like $10 on blu-ray.

Indeed. The Kingdom of Heaven DC is one of my favorite movies.

Gotham looks surprisingly good. Finally broke down and have been watching Community. When it first aired we watched the first couple episodes because we were Joel McHale fans, but it didn't grab us and we stopped. I'm 15 or so episodes into season 1 now and I'm hooked.

I'm psyched for the new Apes flick, hope it does well and we get to see this team's version of the original.

Characterization yes. Garfield's Spider-Man is much closer to the source material than Tobey McGuire's sad puppy Spider-Man.The Raimi films biggest problem was they miscast all the leads.

Was that Jeremy Irons as Thrawn? From the comics I imagined him younger.

Binged Rick and Morty. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Lawnmower Dog was probably my favorite episode.

It was a backdoor pilot for the spinoff they're producing. From what I gather, most fans of the show don't care and would rather they did a Men of Letters or Charlie's Adventures in Oz spinoff.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arrowstorm/mythica-a-quest-for-heroes-starring-kevin-sorbo Mythica, new movie from Arrowstorm, makers of Shadow Cabal and Orc Wars. I backed Shadow Cabal and it was surprisingly good. This one has the added star power of Kevin Sorbo. They've already shot the entire trilogy and are looking for money for effects work for the first film.

I'm not sure I agree with the first rule, but the other 3 yeah. Leia and Han almost certainly are going to have something to do with running the new Republic, and Clone Wars showed how to handle the urban Star Wars stuff properly.

It is fairly easy to be popular among young audiences. They share the direct-to-DVD market with b-movies, you might have noticed. What is a noteworthy achievement is being popular with the entire family. Getting it to be something that the parents enjoy sitting down watching with their children. So they need to be as good as the Tinkerbell movies.

Game of Cons: You Either Win Or You Don't Go To Comic-Con

Return of Black Adam was 20 minutes. It was longer than all the others, which was why it got its own release. I actually thought it was really good, but I would prefer a stand-alone full length Shazam one without Supes. -
Except there's a difference between voice acting, stage acting and even film acting -- Perhaps I should have referred to it as "film acting". Different factors are put into play. In fact, most stage actors aren't very adapt in voice acting, and a lot of theater players aren't comfortable with TV or film acting -- Usually, because, with stage acting, you have to make everything bigger without looking as if you are over-exaggerating. One of the major problems that can occur for TV-actors, with no theater experience, is audibility. Because they are used to having microphones, they are not used to projecting their voices and can sometimes be too quiet for some of the audience to hear. I know this because I've performed cabaret myself, alongside acting in shortfilms. There's such a large difference like you wouldn't believe. Hamill's career as that sort of actor was fundamentally ruined with Star Wars. I wouldn't know if Hamill has done any theater work ever since, I haven't followed him in that department, but if we are talking about film it hasn't been going well. Hack as compared to what, George Lucas? A hack as compared to Irvin Kershner(Empire Strikes back -- May he R.I.P), or literally any other sci-fi director I could list. Abrams feels like a 'safe choice' and I find most of his film to be unremarkable in terms how they are shot, edited, but visually they are pretty but the they sure to draw too much attention -- Hence why he has received notoriety for the insistence emphasis placed on lighting "lens flares". -- I believe Star Wars would benefit from compromising by leaving the reigns to people like Duncan Jones (if he wasn't busy with Warcraft), Matthew Vaughn, Alfonso Cuaron, Edgar Wright or Jaco Van Dormael (the cinematography in Mr Nobody is nothing short of extraordinary, so having him and the his subsequent camera man Christophe Beaucarne would have been fascinating to say the least. While I agree that Matthew Vaughn especially would have rocked this(Though he likely would have just left halfway through Pre-Production like he did on X-Men 3, Thor, and Days of Future Past), I felt like the new Star Trek films felt a lot more like Star Wars films, and based on those, I'm willing to give Abrams the benefit of the doubt.

Not surprising, its a sci-fi show on fox, AND had lousy ratings. Would have been nice to have a full season at least. The finale was a damned filler episode.

Could have been worse. Could have been an adaption of Trials of Shazam (Not that Trials of Shazam was bad, just really dark) -

They need to lighten it up and get a Shazam/Captain Marvel movie out. Its Superman meets Harry Potter. Its a goddamned license to print money. -
Syfy has Ascension and The Expanse coming, both set in space. I believe both got direct to series orders, so no chance of a rejected pilot. Ascension sounds BSG-esque, while The Expanse sounds more adventurey.

I heard they were working on Spaceballs 3 a couple yeas back but Mel Brooks decided he wasn't up for it.

Most people who gave the show a hard time at first but continued to watch are liking it now. Most that continue to say it sucks stopped watching within the firat 6 episodes or so, the crowds reaction said to me they disagreed with him about it sucking, and he seemed confused by that. Flashpoint Paradox bugged me because with the art style and subject matter it was like DC Ninja Scroll, and it just didn't feel right. Mostly due to the art style I think. Aquaman just shouldn't be murdering people. -
And with Captain America: The Winter Soldier crossing 650 million worldwide and spending 3 weeks at #1 in the box office, what was that about Superhero movies being a fad? Its a fad coming up on 20 years now...

I always saw rogues as a support class, they were there to get you through traps, pickpocket, and break into stuff. When it came to combat they were supposed to stay back and snipe, or backstab and run. The fun of them came from their non-combat role. This is again where Quest For Glory shows its superiority of class implementation.
-
One of their problems is their approach to rogues isn't what most people associate with rogues. The classes are Warrior, Also Warrior, and Mage.

During Stephen Amell's (Oliver Queen on Arrow) panel at Fan Expo a guy got up and was like "Thank you for filling the void of comic book tv that Agents of SHIELD failed to do." Then he guestured to the crowd and was like "right people!?" And the crowd was silent. Guy was obviously one of the people who stopped watching at the beginning of the season. -
They bought Marvel and let Marvel Studios continue doing what they were doing with little to no interference. Disneyvwas obviously not happy with the way Lucasfilm was handling things because there has been a whole lot of things being done differently since the sale. I have faith in Disney though, as I've liked pretty much every film that has come out of the studio that interested me in the last 20 years.

Yeah, it looks like if anyone wants to do anything in the current EU continuity it juat has to be under a separate label. No biggie.
