I think when the PS2 launched they were losing about 90 bucks per system. When the Xbox launched they were losing about 190 bucks per system, then SOny dropped the price of the PS2 so MS followed suit and were then losing about 250 per system. The gamecube was the only one that launched at a profit. From what I've heard the PS3 will likely launch at the same price as the 360 because Sony is trying to push Blu-Ray. If they can get as many PS3s out there as there are PS2s, then they'll be bringing in cash from Blu-ray discs, as well as games. If Blu-Ray catches on as well as DVD has, then Sony has a huge cash cow on their hands.

There was one guy I saw all the time, can't remember what his name was, but he was the founder of the Protectors of Paragon City or something like that. Was all dressed in white and gold. I just remember them saying that sometime they would start putting prominant PCs in cameos in the CoH comic.

Yes we do and Canada just won their third gold medal with a win in the gold medal game for the women's hockey. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gee.. thats a surprise. What was their record in this competition? 46 goals for, 2 against? Canadian women are an unstoppable juggernaut. I remember a couple years ago when the newspapers were all going crazy because the americans were the first team to beat the canadians in 6 years. And it was in a round robin game so it didn't even really count.

Well, GalCiv was what Master of Orion 3 should have been, so I'm looking forward to GalCiv 2. Apparently Stardock is going to be working on a fantasy one next, either a true sequel, or spiritual sequel to Master of Magic, depending on if they can get the rights or not.

I couldn't get passed that town after you crash your bike. Couldn't figure out what to do, so I used the UHS, and it told me I needed to get some meat from a fridge, and I couldn't find the fridge. I thought I could see it, but the guy I knocked out was in the way so I couldn't select it.

If they pull off the TF movie game well, then I'll like them too. But if its as bad as the Atari one...

Last I checked, I thought Stardock was making Galactic Civilizations 2. Is Paradox publishing it?

I played EU2, it was worth a good 3 or 4 days of intense playing before I got bored. By intense playing I mean like 6-8 hours a day.

When Duceppe brought up the possibility of sending a separate team Quebec to international play, Quebec players pretty much unanimously shot that idea down because they don't dream of playing for Team Quebec, they dream of playing for Team Canada.

Same. I only use debit unless I have no money in my account, then I use credit. Sucks when the debit/credit machine is down though.

I personally have no problem with remakes. I'm actually nearing a point where its hard to go back and play PS:T because the graphics bother my eyes. (mostly because of the fixed resolution) So I'd love to see a remake. I don't see it as saying they have no ideas left, as long as they don't do ONLY remakes. There are lots of games I'd like to see remade. FFVI, the BG series, PS:T. BG I think would benefit a lot from a remake. Add NPC interaction, some nice animations, an actual ending instead of that "You have won, saving characters." message. It could be incredible. Then once you have the engine all done, you could easily remake BG2 as well, and expand throne of Bhaal into a true sequel.

A good amount of the text was to show things that the IE wasn't capable of showing. With modern graphics a lot of the description could be cut down and just shown using the engine, and that would solve the lots of text problem. And you wouldn't need to change anything about the names and characters in the game. Sigil still exists, all the factions still exist, they just don't have a setting devoted to it anymore.

Apparently the only film adaption Moore actually liked of his work was the David Hayter Watchmen script, which Moore apparently said was the closest adaption possible of the comic without making a bad movie. He also added that he wouldn't see it, he prefers sitting in a chair beside the fire reading a book. From what I hear, paramount ditched it and WB got the rights back, and they're scrapping Hayter's script, which has had rave reviews from pretty much everyone who has read it.

Tagalo or however you spell it is pretty funny. Its all Gs and Os. Its the native Filipino language. Half the girls at work are filipino so they're always going off in their own language to each other. And its funny because like half the words they don't have a word for it so they just substitute the english word. So it will be like "Bogo mo go baho Bread Tray tago mee bo mi galo." or something wierd like that.

They're working on a spinoff series. A Magneto series as well. So far it isn't past pre-production yet.

My top 5 comic to film movies are 1: Batman Begins 2: X-Men 2 3: Spider-Man 2 4: Sin City 5: Hellboy And yes theres a ghost rider movie in production. I believe they've wrapped principal photography. Looks terrible. Nic Cage playing johnny blaze.

Yeah, its megatron after he just beat the crap out of Cy-Kill. Since Hasbro owns the rights to both now, Dreamwave was able to do that. Since most TF fans think gobots was crap, and rightly so, it was a nod to the fans. The Dreamwave comics were pretty much a bunch of fans doing whatever they thought was cool with the characters. I've seen some concept drawings of Bumblebee Prime so the assumption was that they were just going to scrap the whole Rodimus Prime thing and make Bumblebee the new Autobot leader. Since most people like Hot Rod, but hate Rodimus Prime. Its from War Within. I believe volume 3.
