Iron Spider Man?! Linkie? I can't see Kirsten Dunst signing up for more films after the third (especially for a low price), which is why I think the producers will take the opportunity to kill off MJ and introduce new f-buddy for Spidey. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or at least have MJ take off for a while and reintroduce her in a later film with a good actress.

Ahh... movies I don't like that everyone else seems to... Dazed and Confused, The Big Lebowski, 2001: A Spacy Odyssey, Blade Runner, From Dusk Till Dawn.

My favorite moments in Star Trek were when they had the big wars. With the Klingons in DS9, with the Dominion in DS9, and with the Borg in First Contact. I think if they decide to do another series, they should start a war with the Romulans.

Sounds like the reasons I stopped playing. Bad combat, no story, uninteresting NPCs. Its like they were like "Ok, what makes a good RPG... deep NPCs... good story... good Combat... and Freedom... ok pick one and ignore the others. Balance is overrated."

Maybe they're going the Ultimate Spider-Man route and making him like a what-if Peter never had Uncle Ben type thing. I personally like that idea more than a bodybuilder/photographer rival who blames Spider-Man for everything thats wrong with his life.

I'm the same way. I try to avoid conflict and such, and just do all sorts of research and expansion then bam, someone declares war and the one unit I have in each city can't stand up to the army the computer has been building for the last 100 turns.

People hated Constantine? I thought it was awesome. Keanu Reeves was miscast, but they made the best of it.

MJ? I know Gwen (Parker's first love) dies in the comics. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, by being thrown off a bridge by the Green Goblin. They went and wasted that by using MJ and giving it a happy ending. I think they need to do something ballsy and kill off MJ and have him end up with Gwen.

Yeah, thats another one I think is awesome.

My girlfriend's mom LOVES the Cube series. I've never seen any of them.

My roommate is funny, whenever we get into an argument over whether or not a movie is good, he always brings up the fact that I own Last Action Hero as an argument against my taste in movies. Then I bring up the fact that he owns Gigli.

None of which turned into big animals. I think of all of his villains only the Lizard and Puma turned into anything animal-like. Scorpion, Rhino, and Vulture all used suits. Mysterio, Electro, and Shocker weren't anything remotely animal-like. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, I meant to say that the problem was that the villains are corny not that they are all animal derived. EDIT: Oh yeah it most probably is a piece of CG artwork rather than a photo but thats not uncommon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahh, ok. I personally thought Mysterio was cool, the rest I agree are pretty lame. Though I do think Rhino would be a really cool throwaway villain to open up one of the movies. He's not the type of villain that needs much introduction or character development, so just open the movie with him rampaging and Spidey trying to stop him. Electro could be cool, just need to drop the suit. Shocker is lame no matter what.

Thats what he was created as I think. Its gotten wierd over the years with Eddie Brock's twisted sense of honour making Venom more of a Punisher type, being a hero that isn't against killing. Then Eddie finally rejecting the symbiote and it choosing Scorpion as its new host. Theres been a lot of evil spider-men in Marvel though. Venom, Doppelganger, Spidercide, etc. This is why I like Ultimate Marvel. No 60 years of history rewriting itself. At least not yet.

I'd also like to add the honourable mentions Smallville, House, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, Highlander the series, and Gargoyles.

Nemesis was better than Insurrection at least. They could have done so much better though. Open war with the Romulans would have been cooler than just the small fight between the Enterprise and the Scimitar.

well if you look at the big close-up pic, its pretty clear the whole thing was photoshopped. So hopefully its just a really polished piece of concept art.

So it seems like the reaction goes 3 ways: Hate it, love it, don't think its actually the black costume, just a black and white pic. The picture is nice... the costume is boring. Something more like Spidey's black costume would have been better.
