Nah, the other staff actually like me so they don't stick the closing people with all the prep I tend to get the crappy shifts though since I'm the only one there who can work anytime, the rest have school or specific days they can work.
-
After it got up to 3-0 I was like "They'll win this, but it won't be a shutout" then said "I'm prediction Oilers in 5" After Roloson got injured though, I'm thinking if the Oilers do pull it off, it will be in game 7.

Nu Metal I listen to would be Linkin Park, old Adema (Mark Chavez period), Spineshank, and thats about it. I consider Korn Nu-Metal. I consider them the originators of Nu-Metal. They started it, and unfortunately most failed to follow their footsteps of being a decent band. Also Incubus was Nu-Metal back in the days of S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Which also happened to be their best album. Everything after Make Yourself has been ****e.

So I was closing at Subway tonight, we close at 11 and this group of guys come up at like 11:01. There is no meat in the cooling table, and I'm just finishing putting the veggies away. We're scheduled till 11:30 so if we don't get all our crap done before then we end up working for free, so we don't tend to serve customers after we're closed because we don't get paid enough to do any free work. So anyway one of the guys starts to order, despite the fact that everything is all cleaned up, and the other person I'm working with is logging out the till for the night. This is how it goes: Customer: Hi, can I get a 6" cheesesteak combo? Me: I'm sorry we're closed Customer: What? Me: We're closed. Customer: What? Me: Closed Customer: What? Me: Closed, We're closed. C-L-O-S-E-D Customer 2: Yeah, how do you spell that in French? Me: I dunno... Customer 2: How about with no teeth? Me: *goes in back to do dishes* I mean if you walked into a Subway with no meat or veggies out, no cutting boards, no bread, completely clean, and the guy on the other side pretty much ignores you, would you assume the place is still open? People are so stupid sometimes.

I'm in the group thats buying a PS3 because 600 bucks for a Blu-Ray player is dirt cheap. As for games, it looks like the PS3 and the 360 are about equal from what I've seen of the upcoming lineups.
-
my top 10 PS2 games would be, in no particular order: Suikoden 3, Suikoden 5, GTA(all 3 lumped together), Star Ocean: Until the End of Time, Final Fantasy X, Prince of Persia(lumped all together), Beyond Good and Evil, X-Men Legends(both together), MGS2, MGS3.

The problem is that good honest peaceloving muslims don't stand up for themselves and try to distance themselves and their religion from these nutjobs. And because they just stand back and let these guys speak for them the world just sees Islam, the "religion of peace" as more along the lines of Megatron's motto. Peace through Tyranny. I just had to get that Transformers quote in there once I thought of it.

Turns out they were planning to hit a whole whack of targets, which is why they had so much. CN Tower, Peace Tower and Parliament, Toronto Stock Exchange... damn. Sucks to be them, their 2 years of planning screwed.

Just write a fiction story about aliens landing and making first contact in North Dakota, or it being destroyed by a meteor or something cool like that. Have some sort of race of superbeings who were living beneath the ground emerge and claim it as their own, annihilating any local culture leaving only what you make up.

I think your Alex Ross sig kicks ass, Calax, that's what I think. Although the Ted Kord one was kinda good itself. The best thing about Alex Ross is that he draws the costumes so realistically that they look really silly, but the poses and how amazing his art is makes those silly costumes awesome.

Infogrammes is just a holding company now. Meaning they exist for little more than to own Atari stock.

Interplay pulled the plug on NWN? When? Are they talking about that old school semi-MMORPG that existed before the Bioware game? Because from what I remember, NWN left Interplay because IPLY didn't pay Bioware what they were sposed to for BG2.

I made up catagory six because they haven't encountered those people yet and dispite what they want us to believe Jean in the movies isn't on the same level as phoenix and Apocolypse. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apocalypse's mutant power isn't really all that cool. He's just immortal. He absorbed all sorts of alien technology which is why he can rearrange his body and all that. I think he's still considered an Omega level mutant, since his powers are the same as Mr Immortal, and he's considered one.
-
If I remember right, doesn't Impulse actually die in that storyline?
-
In the comics, the overpowered mutants are classified as Omega-Level, these include Franklin Richards, Jean Grey, Bobby Drake(Yes, Iceman is in the same league as Jean Grey. Apparently if he felt like it he could freeze the entire world), etc.
-
I also kinda didn't like how they combined Quicksilver and Caliban together and called her Callisto.
-
They managed to not screw up beast which was nice. From his opening scene reading a scientific magazine while hanging upside down to the "Oh my stars and garters" line. His struggle between trying to accept who he is and wanting to look normal.
-
Surprisingly it didn't suck. It wasn't as good as the first two, but that wasn't because of Ratner. I actually thought there was some pretty good directing there. The writers need to find a new line of work though. Was a little confused by one part though

Sweet. But tell you've spared youself the abomination that is "Catwoman." -- Damn straight - the Dolph Ludgren version rocked! " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Catwoman is the only movie I've downloaded I haven't bought afterwards. I usually only download movies I'm not curious enough to spend money on. Though most turn out to be awesome and I buy them (such as Super Troopers and Boondock Saints). Catwoman I just really didn't want to spend any money on. So I downloaded it, watched it, and felt like I got ripped off. I mean seriously, its about an evil cosmetics company run by the Merovingian. The makup makes his wife invulnerable man! DEAR GOD GIVE ME MY 2 HOURS BACK! Oh, and I saw one of those Spider-Man movies. Had Peter with a fro. Got hypnotised into jumping off the empire state building.

honestly it would have been tragic and dramatic it jean had STAYED DEAD! but she's not bucky or uncle ben so that don't work <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...They brought back Bucky. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucky#Winter_Soldier I own every one of those on DVD.

I just laid down 214 bucks on the japanese versions of Masterpiece Optimus Prime, and Masterpiece Starscream. Though $65 of that was shipping and insurance.
