  1. That sounds awesome. Medieval Times was a lot of fun when I went. You get a meal of meat and broth and you're not allowed utensils. Get to watch some jousting and melee, then they start killing each other.

What? Am I the only one that liked Pluto Nash? If you're serious, I liked it too, but we're the only ones. Its one of those movies that I'm ashamed of liking. Like Mean Girls. Also:
  3. I couldn't stand the great gatsby. Theres a chapter that does nothing but list who he invites to a party. Not my opinion of quality writing. I gave up halfway through because it was so bad. Which considering how short the book is, is pretty bad.
  4. TRON! I'm still using the Optimus Prime pic. Though someone did a wicked fan movie design for Soundwave that I might try next. EDIT: Not in big enough resolution for a decent background image, but this is what it was if you're curious: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/50216886/
  5. Incorrect. Lots of people use the word liberal. Only Republicans use it as an insult. Not realizing that only other Republicans actually take offense at being labelled a liberal.
  6. Much better.
  7. Not that thats a big problem. There are quite a few excellent TV movies and Miniseries out there. ...Skeleton Man is definitely not one of them though. Sorry... that was just a REALLY bad movie.
  8. Ok, well I guess I'll vote for all of mine :D So thats 25-31, leaving me with 9 more votes which would be 1) 4 2) 5 3) 9 4) 14 5) 15 6) 18 7) 40 41 9) 42
  9. I've heard we taste like pork. Apparently human tissue and pig tissue are very similar genetically.
  10. Thats amazing news!
  11. Lens flare is ok if utilized well, and I think it is here. My only criticism is the letters on the left are spaced further apart than the right. I think you should space out the right a bit more to match the left, if only because spaced out letters look epic.
  12. Agreed, but it would be cool.

Wasn't ancient persia totally decadent and freaky anyway, they just pushed it to the extreme in 300? Also, I still can't get over Faramir being so freaking huge in that movie.
  14. I think Hilary should give vice president a try before going for President. Gives people a chance to get used to her close to the big office before she tries for the whole enchilada.
  15. I think it depends on the setting of the expansion. If its like Shadows of Undrentide or whatever it was called, where you start as a new character, then I don't think having epic levels makes much sense, but if its taking off where you left off having your party cruise the planes or something, then epic levels are fine with me. Epic levels suit planeswalking. Personally I'm hoping that its an expansion to the first campaign, and I'd also like them to add more content to the original campaign as well as the new storyline, to give us an excuse to play through again before continuing in the expansion.
  16. Yeah, I could imagine that too. Though the last robot costume I made included a shoebox and tinfoil hung around my neck with string, and a paper bag with silver paint and clothes hanger poking out the top. These guys are just brilliant.
  17. Sounds like Superpower or Superpower 2. Awesome concept, horribly awful gameplay. Though as Canada I did manage to conquer the Congo and bring it up to our standard of living. I figured I would be able to take some crap country and turn it around, so I started one game as some crap african country, got into all sorts of economic and cultural alliances, got all sorts of foreign aid, and I still went bankrupt just trying to upgrade the education system.
  18. Depending on the reason for the divorce thats awesome. If he's like some sort of wife beating adulterer, then he's a dumbass. If she's a money grubbing whore, I applaud.

I found the dialogue much better in 300 than in Sin City. Though I didn't really mind it much in Sin City either, I thought it fit with the ridiculous style of the film. 300 was super awesome. Can't wait for it to come to the IMAX here.
  20. Its also mostly a cult game, so its not like its going to bring it masses of fans.
  21. Yeah, he profits through a german law designed to aid the german movie industry. If it bombs, he still profits! I think I read they're considering changing it, or maybe they have already. They already have. And the german law wasn't that if it bombs, he still profits, its that if it bombs, he, and his investors profit more than if it was a success. Now that its changed I wonder if he'll keep making movies. And if he does, I wonder if he'll actually try to make a decent film.
  22. Thats where the constitutional part comes in I'm guessing.
  23. Rob Liefield and Quietly too. Yes, variety means ya gotta take the bad with the good.
  24. My only problem with Manga is the art. You have 3 or 4 people who have a unique style, then all the rest are pretty much the same. Its gets old. At least with american comics you have a good variety. Joe Mad, Bryan Hitch, Alex Ross, the Kuberts, Romita Jr, etc.

Frank Miller = Possibly the most overrated man in comics. Awful artist, average writer, given godlike status. The only person I can think of in comics that is more overrated is Neil Gaiman.
