  1. More Banner Saga. Doing decently so far. I've had a couple of more people die on me, but I guess it is worth replaying the game to see what I have to do to save them. Atmosphere is pretty good and the writing is okay. It's a shame that battlefields are completely plain and there are no obstacles (so far). Other than that, I'm enjoying the game.
  2. Yeah, one mistake and it's baaaaaaaaaack you go. One really bad mistake that doesn't play out for two hours and you're back to a new game. Indeed. I have already lost two characters. I know for a fact you can make one of them survive for the entire game, but I couldn't bother redo the sections before that. Perma-death in combat is ok. But when I chose the wrong option in dialog and a character died for it, I got annoyed.
  3. Booted up Banner Saga for the first time. No manual saves in this game either. I don't like this trend.
  4. This fella drinks the old fashioned way.
  5. If one liked Kingdoms of Amalur, is the DLC worth it? I have KoA on Origin, but if the DLC is any good, I'll grab the complete edition on Steam.
  6. I guess Liverpool were right to spend that much for him.... I like him. We couldn't utilize his divine abilities.
  7. Watched Manchester United play and lose against Stoke. The footballing genius, awesome looking, awe-inspiring, almighty Charlie Adam made my day.
  8. Oh God another Liverpool fan whining about ticket prices! I'm happy that I'm not an Arsenal supporter in that regard.
  9. Back from England. Sitting at the Kop, watching my team beat our rivals 4-0 was a dream. Couldn't have wished for a better trip. I want to go there again for the Arsenal game. If money wasn't an issue!
  10. It's either shovel the snow or get stuck inside the house if you let it pile up too much.
  11. What? Not everyone likes the show. They will be disappointed by TSoT in that case. Matt and Trey are working on this, it'll be like the show. I found the show to be funny even if I stopped following it many years a go. I do watch the occasional episode here and there. I think that if you don't like the show, you might want to look elsewhere, but who knows?
  12. Returned to my The Witcher 2 save from June 2011. I couldn't be bother to keep playing it at the time. Stopped somewhere in chapter 1. I blame my return on the second book that I read. Completed 2 quests in 20 minutes: Killing the Endrega and Nekkers. It's funny how that works. Back then, I had no interest in playing so I didn't even bother to try to find the nests and cocoons. Today, I just blazed through those missions. Going to play a little bit more soon.
  13. I do own it. I just need to have a little chat with Mr. Backlog before I play it.
  14. There was some optional area with arena fights that I never completed because I didn't find all the summons. Very few of my party members were even able to survive there. Main character, the robot chick and the big purple dude are the strongest ones. Used fish woman and main character. Had to switch between the others. Morbazan was decent in combat.
  15. That's a shame. Remember him hanging around the forum during DS3's launch.
  16. Summoner 2 completed. That was quite an experience. I built my characters after looking around on good builds. I'm happy i did, or I may not have been able to complete the game.
  17. Shadowrun Returns does not have achievements. Neither does Iron Brigade, GTA IV Expansions, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Penny Arcade 3 & 4, FTL. I wasn't really aware there needed to be achievements for games on Steam.
  18. I played it on Gamecube. It was alright. I expect the new Dragon Age to have combat similar to it. I feel like Dragon Age II wasn't far off, although I like Summoner 2 better... except for the camera.
  19. Skyrim. Running around the world, occasionally doing a quest or two. Summoner 2. The game gets a lot of hate on many places but I like it. I especially like the fact that it isn't good old Tolkien inspired fantasy, even if that wouldn't have bothered me.
  20. I think the writing was on the wall, so to speak. I mean, it's January 24 and they are still calling it an Alpha. Oh well... Kickstarter has made me more patient, if nothing else I'm a bit disappointed, but as you said, it was expected and I don't want them to rush things. Luckily for me, I have lots of games to play in the meantime.
  21. Divintiy: Original Sin release delayed from February to "Summer 2014".
  22. More Dark Age of Camelot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPw-3e_pzqU
  23. Watched the last 5 episodes of Samurai Champloo. Now I need to find myself a new anime box to buy. Time to do some research.
  24. They will most likely manifest in the mortal world: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/obsidian/project-eternity/posts/395376
  25. Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor Gameplay Walkthrough. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bl9J_ewx3Rg Game makes no lore sense and gameplay looks like a mix of Assassin's Creed x Batman Arkham Series. I'm mildly interested.
