Both Dragon Age games didn't always have great pathing, those games aren't that old.

Played a little BGII, but spent most of today's gaming time playing Remember Me. It's a decent game with nice enviroments and an okay soundtrack. I was expecting worse from the game.

I guess so. It's nothing I usually think about, but now that I am playing, I was reminded of how annoying bad pathing can be.

I'm currently in the middle of chapter two of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and I also completed another playthrough of Planescape: Torment last year. While both of these games are two of my favorite games and get replayed by me every now and then, the pathfinding in these games have always been an issue. I am hoping that Pillars of Eternity gets a lot of testing in this area. I have faith in the team. I'm certain we'll get good writing and everything else we expect from a game like this, but Pillars of Eternity has a chance to improve this type of game even further. With good pathing and (good character AI), I am hoping this will be the best exploration experience in any IE game or IE inspired games. No longer do I want to move my party, only for one character to decide that he/she/it wants to go stand by a wall while my other party members decide to take the right path. I feel that this is one of the areas where we could get the biggest improvement. What do you guys think?

Belated Happy new Years. Had a great time yesterday (and today). Haven't been at a fun party like this for some time. Friends, fine ladies and lots of stuff to drink, although I only drank vodka and beer. Food wasn't much to speak about, but it was only there to not drink on a completely empty stomach. Came back home at 2pm today, feel like a zombie, seeing everything like I'm underwater, so totally worth it. The person they hired to sing also did a great job, none of that crappy playback or anything like that. With that said, I'm done partying for some time now.

Woke up at 1pm, went to a Thai restaurant. They had an open buffet. I ate like a beast. Now I'm hungry again. Made some tzatziki, not yet sure what to have with it.

Brother had some whiskey at his place. He forced me to drink some with him. (That's a good excuse, right? )

I've had friends and cousins over at my place. Other than being out a lot, we also spent time playing Dragon's Crown and Little Big Planet Karting. In the past 10 days, I haven't slept earlier than 3 in the morning. I blame the awesomeness of the local multiplayer options. I have Rayman legends ordered for the next time we wnat to have some 4 player mayhem.

I could never stop swearing completely. Obviously, I can't swear at work, but other than that, I have a swear jar that is always full of coins. That's how I paid for my first PlayStation 3. I had the no swearing new years resolution one year. I think I lasted 5 minutes before someone drooped their drink and my shirt got a stain.

Traded in some physical games and got enough money to get €100 in STEAM gift cards. I've only bought one game from that pool of money, and that is To the Moon.

But Divinity 2 is fun!

Yep, old footage. I hope my PC can run it. I've been in the mood to give Origins another go, but I'll probably save that for a few more months before starting.
