Get home from work, everything was great and I was super happy, this day can't go wrong. Come home to a disaster that makes this the second worst day of the year and maybe the 6th worst day in my life. Life is full of surprises, and I have never liked it.

Stayed home all day today. Won't be going to church either. Not in the mood to see other people today. Feel tired and grumpy.

Yea.. because the word 'pagan' means the festival wasn't religious.... Point taken, but what I meant is that christians adapted a festival dedicated to Cybele into a holiday dedicated to the resurrection of Jesus. It's always been religious, but it originally served a completely different purpose than it does now. Christians repurposed a festival to a completely different goddess into a holiday for their lord and saviour because the time frame sort of coincided and there was conflict between the pagan worshippers and the christians in christianity's early years, so while the christians initially tried to abolish the festival they adapted it to their own purpose as a compromise. To the victor goes the spoils, I guess.

I want my pre-combat buffs. Nothing compares to buffing your characters for 60 seconds before a difficult boss fight. Hearing all those chants your characters chant. It's especially glorious with 4 spellcasters.

Finished Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Game was easy and short, but knowing who was behind the game, I knew I was going to play it at some point. I must say that it managed to evoke some emotions in me, not something that happens very often. Well, if you don't count frustration and anger at game controls or at failing.

Baldur's Gate II. Stopped playing once Nalia complained about us not going to De'arnise Keep, so that's where my party of adventurers will head next. Then I have to play errand boy for Korgan. As I plan to keep him around 'till the end, I better help him out.

Listened to it again. 0:40-1:20 would fit right in in the world of Arcanum. Especially 0:40-0:55. This is not a bad thing since I love the Arcanum soundtrack. Did I say Arcanum? Arcanum. My nerdiness ends here.
