Update #64: Developer Q&A with Kaz
Labadal replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
An update before 12AM over here. Can't wait to slay those dragons. Also, only barbarians fight for coffee. True monks like me would have kicked the opponent in the holy place and then calmly started drinking my newly brewed coffee.- 151 replies

Don't know what they're called and don't even know all the ingredients. My mother makes them. The ingredients I do know are meat, onion, parsley. These are used in the filling. The outside consists of bulgur and some other stuff that I don't know the name of. These things are so freaking good. Makes my day when she makes them.

I love these little beauties. They might not look appetizing, but it's my favorite food without a doubt. Tastes even better with salad and Cola.

They are amusing games to play. I've also wanted another game like this ever since I beat Sleeping Dogs.I liked Sleeping Dogs. But I liked it a lot for the combat. I liked Saint's Row IV, where I got VTOL and attack choppers. infamous where you get super powers. Maybe the three protagonist structure can make this one stand apart. I hear Trevor is funny, which is something I recall GTA IV also lacking to the degree I desired. Could never get into Saints Row 2. I have The Third unplayed in my backlog. SR2 and many other open world game worlds feel a bit empty. In GTA4, causing mass panic was part of the fun. In Mafia 2, the world felt least alive, but I still enjoyed the main story. The funniest moment in GTA4 was one of the first times I crashed into another car and someone said: I'm gonna **** you up mother****er! With a latino accent.

This, after work.Conformity effects are fascinating. I haven't liked a GTA since III. I have absolutely 0 intellectual interest in GTA V. In fact, I need some sort of gimmick to be willing to glance at sandbox car theft titles. But with everyone talking about GTA V, I am for some bizarre reason considering picking it up after work... They are amusing games to play. I've also wanted another game like this ever since I beat Sleeping Dogs.

Don't worry about that, that's what we are here for! And I actually enjoy reading about it too. It's like a little drama series: what will happen next? Will he find a better job? Will the boss break down and quit? Will Labadal finally get laid for the second time this century?! It's all very exhilarating. You'll have to wait until the next episode!

That is true. I only have a 30Mb/s connection but it is very stable. Get 3-3,5Mbs on average on Steam.

Both of them are very good movies. They didn't just point the finger at the drug dealers if you ask me.

Just woke up. Ate and then went to sleep directly after I came home from work. A former co-worker that quit this summer came and visited at work. Told me how he was more happy and did not have any problems with sleep and felt much better in general. He couldn't handle the situation so he left. One of my bosses (not the top boss) who has worked at this place for 20 years spoke to me and told me she feels like she has had enough. She's said this more than once in the last two weeks. She can take almost anything, she's seen worse things than me yet she was about to cry today. Told my co-workers about my earlier conversation with THE boss and they weren't very happy about that. Spoke to her again today. I know I'm in a pickle without work, but when you feel that your work is making you feel bad in general, maybe you should take a break. I didn't tell her that I want to quit this time, I just told her how I felt about my situation. Will stay here until I find something else. I'm really sorry for bringing this up every time, but it feels good to vent and I'm not good about talking about this in real life.

That's very very dependent on the company and on the individual that is interning. I've heard horror stories of companies just throwing their interns at mundane tasks that no one else wanted to do for a few months and then letting them go. While the intern may have learned new technical skills, they did not learn much about working as a team. What I'd imagine is more common is that companies will ease you into things to start. If you do well and are proactive about being a part of the team, they will continue to give you more complex things to work on. You can't expect a company to hand you everything just because they hired you as an intern. It's up to you to prove that you're competent and that you want to be a part of a team. I started at Obsidian as an intern. My experience here was very positive. I bet you 100 rupees that Feargod was holding a gun to your kneecap when you wrote that.

Don't remember if we have a humble indie thread or not. https://www.humblebundle.com/ Trine 2:Complete Story Mark of the Ninja Eets MunchiesBeta BrĂ¼tal Legend Beat the average: FTL FEZ I own 3 of those games and enjoyed them all. Heard good things about FTL and FEZ, don't know what Eets is.

Is this all because you're not getting along with that other teacher? Stiffen that upper lip.More than one person. I actually get along with the teacher I work with. I get along with everyone on a personal level, but it bothers me when stuff gets planned behind my back. They plan stuff I don't get any info about and then it clashes with what I do. I still have not gotten a schedule, hah!I have asked for papers that I should have gotten 10 days ago. That's just a few of many things that is upsetting me. Edit: Too late! Told the boss what I thought and she told me to do what I want.

If it's a new thing, what triggered it? Shouldn't you be trying to fix that, rather than just running like a Frenchman? It's been something that I can't do much about. Educated people want us to work in a certain way, I have no education and therefore my word equals crap. Told her how I felt today. From now on, I'll be working in my way. The thing is it won't be possible to do so in the long run because our work overlaps. This is serious business, working with kids to means that the grown ups need to show unity.

I was (am) upset. I didn't tell her "I'm quitting". But I told her why I thought about it. I'm a person who doesn't like to fool around at work and I say what's on my mind. She was unhappy knowing why I wanted to quit, but not unhappy with me. There was a guy who worked here that was unhappy for two whole years before he found a new job, I am not like that. These last 3-4 days, I haven't felt like I want to go to work. Never happened at this workplace before. Maybe quitting is very extreme, but something will be done. Maybe I'll take a week off. We'll see in an hour or so.

Thinking of quitting my job. Told my boss about my feelings and she wasn't happy about it. I'll see what happens tomorrow.
