One of the biggest problems with the Max Payne series was that later enemies took a million bullets before dieing. It was beyond funny when a dude gets shot in the gut(in a cut scene), limps around on rooftops, jumps on a train and then has a boss fight with you where you throw 3 molotov ****tails on him and empty 4 ingram clips into him to finally get a cutscene where he ACTUALLY dies.

You will have the drill and the rivet? gun. I seriously doubt that most things will die in a single hit, though. No chains AFAIC, but that just calls for a Xzibit meme...

You can never have too much cash, but I guess we'll see when they release trailers etc. My biggest gripe is that it's another studio doing it.
-
Yeah, I'm sure Rockstar needs the cash, I mean when was the last time they had a hit? Really, that'd be less ridiculous if it hadn't been 5-6 years since the previous game. Other than GTA, it's been been all that great... Bully with all it's bugs and bad ports, Manhunt and Table Tennis?

You guys are a bunch of pushovers, Whedon needs you! This episode was head and shoulders over any of the other episodes. Please watch this one and if you still don't like it, THEN give up. EDIT: It's up on Hulu as well for all you Americans.

That reminds me, Team-Gizka is almost done on the restoration pack. The next version should be release candidate 1. I have been holding off on replaying it for soo long. Really? Their site says they still have 85 bugs left, unless they haven't been updating the site. Haven't really been following the progress in a while. Assassin's Creed is 50% of at steam for 10 bucks. I think I might give it a whirl. I just finished playing Splinter Cell Double Agent. I love the Splinter Cell games for some reason. Can't wait for the next one where it seems Sam will have more close combat options, which I always thought he should have just in case he got caught sneaking around. They get new bugs with the new iterations of the mod. They have been updating the current version number.

Can't wait for those awesome minigames. If you think Bioshock's Pipe Dream is bad... the lockpicking "game" is straight from hell.

The combat is pretty good and there are a lot of interesting combos with different party members. Also, Zelda is quite a touch screen destroyer, second only to Ninja Gaiden.
-
Max Payne 2 is pretty good. You can get it from steam for like 10 bucks/euros. It's like Max Payne 1, but with some nice improvements.

The only console version I knew before looking it up just now, was the GBA version

No Remedy Entertainment? I wouldn't get my hopes up. Probably just trying to cash in on the IP while they have it...

Maybe he'll meet up with Darth Revan

Chrono Trigger of course! FFIV has a half-way entertaining story, but Chrono Trigger has a grand story including time travel, multiple endings(11+) and some great characters. Also no "kiddie" 3d graphics and it has some of the best music on the SNES.

Hmmm , I must admit you're right, been thinking on picking up StarOcean Second Evolution, but decided not to 'cause of the art style. But now that you made me remember good old times when I used to play Breath of Fire 3 I slowly change my mind. Oh, and I'm not offended by child dominatrixes with large boobs ,it just makes me laugh a bit ;P. PS. My mother overheard a real life child dominatrixes chatting near a bus stop.It went something like that(kids were about 10 years old): Kid1: Where's Viola, isn't she coming with us? Kid2: (says in a bored voice) No, she stayed at home, she's massaging her c**t. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. Yay Poland? Also WTF?

Yeah, the body that they discover was that of a "young woman". Apparently she still managed to get around if she's the Mitochondrial Eve...

Maybe we could make a little list of all the choices that could change stuff in ME2? I'll start with the ones I can remember
-
That's what I'm afraid of as well. Changing spells to super weapons, mana to energy and giant swords to giant lasers would be just sad.

There is a really interesting game called Infinite Space coming in the 3rd quarter this year. It's supposed to be a RPG space sim or something like that.

I thought you could only do the blue one... Maybe it was because my character was female. FemShep gets Liara or Kiaden DudeShep gets Liara or Ashley Umm, yeah, Kaidan may have... died... unfortunately You'll change your mind when you see her face again. The only thing in ME that "justifies" another playthrough is the crazy renegade dialogue. I remember accidentally hitting a scientist in the beginning and feeling really bad about it. Each to it's own, i guess. I had a hard time not hitting, killing or collargrabbing everyone i met. Except Wrex of course, he was cool. Yeah, cool in a "whaa my race is dieing and now I'm playing tough to hide my feelings" kind of way.

Well, I didn't like it. Most of the big questions like what's the deal with Starbuck or the Song or the Opera House were answered with a nice big "God did it". Considering the general dark tone of Galactica, the ending was overly happy and sunny. The preachy ending with evil Japanese robots was a real turn-off, there was no need what so ever to tie it back to our Earth. I would have been a lot more happier with leaving things open rather than saying "God did it" and them just living out their lives on the ships or whatever. Kind of like the last episode of Stargate SG1 "Unending".

Well I actually enjoyed Breath of Fire 3, but the art style is killing me. There is one rpg on DS I'd like to see on PSP(I have only SONY's handheld) , its called DARK SPIRE. http://www.atlus.com/darkspire/ Check the screenshot gallery, good western dungeon crawler with nice graphics. That looks awfully like Etrian Odyssey 1/2, look them up if you haven't. Also, what's wrong with just having it on the DS?

It's around the 65-75% mark. Square Enix touted it as the great blend of western and eastern RPG design. I haven't really heard anything about it.

I thought you could only do the blue one... Maybe it was because my character was female. Hmm, I remember it was a choice between Liara and Ashley, and when I choose "Can't I have both?", Ashley got pissed and so Liara was the delighted one. Good times... almost makes you forget all the boring empty planets with nothing on them.
