  1. I am talking about the desire demons, they can be hot. You even have the option to have sex with one in DA:O
  2. Correct, and Monte you know I'm a big supporter of Romance\Sex in my RPG
  3. You've raised a good point but I suppose we don't know how many creatures or how powerful the creatures from the fade will be? There will more than likely be new "fade races"
  4. Do they have a coffee maker ? Here we are told to be glad we have a water cooler. They have several, they even have a nespresso machine which makes uniquely flavoured coffee like caramel. But I prefer Tea personally http://www.nespresso.com/#/za/en/coffee_machines/selecteur_gamme
  5. Translation: You will grind your way through five enemy models with different names in very similar caves, but if that's a bit TL;DR you can just hit the 'forward to badly rendered sex-scene' with your pan-sexual LI, which now includes an inanimate object for our fans who wish to experience love with a vase or a sack of rocks. If this wasn't enough your Inquisitor will hop aboard what we are calling the 'mine-cart of exposition' which is a series of cut-scenes that allows you to be splashed with the orgasmic ectoplasm of Dave Gaider's Joss Wheedon fantasy! All this plus EXCLAMATION MARK DLC! * squeegasm * I may not agree with most of what you say but you do make me laugh "which now includes an inanimate object for our fans who wish to experience love with a vase or a sack of rocks" love with a vase or a sack of rocks...classic
  6. http://blog.bioware.com/2013/06/15/bioware-gm-aaryn-flynn-reflects-on-e3-2013/ Guys a little information about DA3, so it seems like its an invasion from the Fade
  7. "'To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women" That would have been hilarious just to see there response
  8. My favourite is "intellectually dishonest". If you want to call someone a liar, just say so. Being intellectually dishonest is not the same thing as lying. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intellectual_honesty Obviously citation is a pipe dream (and probably shouldn't be necessary anyway) on a casual internet forum, but it's not lying to present things in a biased way (not factoring in that sometimes it's born out of ignorance). Alan now that I read that definition I'm not sure if it is different to lying. The link you provided says "Intentionally committed fallacies in debates and reasoning are called sometimes intellectual dishonesty" That could also be called a lie as I could lying about a topic in a debate knowing its untrue? I don't see the difference if you look at the definition
  9. I had a really good interview today at a specialized software consultancy company, I am very happy where I work but this other company has more vision and long term strategy and the overall financial incentives are way better. They asked me some questions that I have never really been asked before. One of them was "what happens when you have a really bad day and you get into a bad mood, what do you do?". I was stumped as I very seldom get into persistent bad moods so they put me on the spot Anyway they will be making the offer this week so its all very exciting
  10. The brutal human rights abuses the Kurdish people suffer in Turkey don't count then? Why doesn't the rest of NATO intervene to free the Kurds from Turkish oppression? The situation around the Kurds in Turkey is complicated and its not as clear as the atrocities that Assad has committed against his own people
  11. What's your position on nuclear proliferation then? Seems hypocritical not to allow Iran to have a nuclear program when Israel has one. Same applies to North Korea naturally. Nope Iran cannot be allowed to get Nuclear weapons, they have been proven to make far too many extreme foreign policy decisions and are major supporters of known terrorist groups like Hezbollah. If they somehow did get Nuclear weapons this would destabilize the region and this cannot be allowed to happen Sorry Drowsy but even though I may not agree with everything Israel does they are a much more stable and easily understood country than Iran. So you shouldn't ask the question " but why can't Iran get Nuclear weapons if Israel has them?" Its two different scenario's.
  12. Care to elaborate? Sure, Turkey is considered a secular and democratic Muslim country. It was been trying to join the EU since 2005. These are some of the reasons Western companies consider Turkey a good place to invest in and also its a bridge into the region. Its easy to do business in Turkey. Turkey and the USA have shared information on the PKK as Turkey considers them a terrorist organization. Turkey was one of the first countries to condemn the brutal clampdown of Assad on people wanting political change in Syria. They have personally had to take in hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugee's which is an expensive initiative. NATO has deployed Patriot missiles on the Turkish\Syrian border to assist Turkey if Syria decided to fire its own missiles into Turkey. NATO wouldn't do this if they didn't consider Turkey an ally I am not saying that Erdogan is handling the current protests in the most diplomatic and sensitive way but Turkey needs to be given time to address this internal strife. And unless he starts a brutal campaign against his own people like Assad I still consider Turkey an important friend of the West in the region
  13. There's an english language source for the suicides (and bad conditions) at least. If there were something on resignations from him it would probably be in Turkish and require translation. Not everything is a conspiracy theory with the West operating in the background surreptitiously acting only when it directly serves its own self-interests. The West correctly considers Turkey an ally and friend and won't just intervene in any domestic issue.
  14. http://gamasutra.com/view/news/194483/CD_Projekt_RED_confirms_new_studio_opening_in_Krakow.php Always a good sign of robust finances when a development company opens another branch, albeit a small one.
  15. That sounds like a question you would ask Majek, but I am not sure. I don't remember that as part of the game. But I guess if it was you would say this was unrealistic? I know you well
  16. Metro 2033 is my favorite horror survival game, you get this real sense of desperation during the game and ammo becomes something you cherish when you find it. It only gets more tense, wait till you have to fight the mutated gorilla's I haven't played Last Light but I intend to
  17. This being an Obsidian game though, one of those old souls will have to be railing against its confinement, crying out for release and asking the protagonist to break the blade asunder. I served righteously throughout life, now let me have my promised rest etcetera. Edit: Indeed what if in other religions the blade is a weapon of evil, standing between souls and their rebirth on the wheel. Be a nice little perplexing situation. Good ideas
  18. You seem a bit nervous there Malc? Is there something you want to tell us....don't be embarrassed as almost all of us are liberals and you can say anything you want without judgment
  19. I'm all for a Paladin class and smiting enemies but they should give you the option that during the game if you start committing evil acts you become corrupted and move from a Paladin to an evil type Paladin class like a Blackguard? That would make it even more exciting
  20. Its funny because now that you guys are pointing it out, I can't remember any distinguishing ladies?
  21. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/briton-survives-13-storey-fall-zealand-042603806.html?.tsrc=samsungwn#ay4Gbtg Guys you should read this article, a British tourist in New Zealand fell 13 stories and survived after trying to climb into his 15th floor apartment from the floor above. He is a very lucky man !!!
  22. Seriously? No women at all. I played Gothic 3 about 1 year ago and I didn't notice that. Guess my powers of observation aren't as acute as I thought?
  23. Well I enjoyed Gothic 3 so if you throw in even more ladies that can only be a good thing
  24. But you do know you're a troll, right? An ice troll from the Finnish wastes to be precise. Nah, I don't post to sow discord and provoke arguments, I post (in part) so that you and the other gaming hipsters wouldn't start thinking that your opinions represent the objective truth or that anyone who doesn't share your views on gaming is an unwashed and uneducated teenager from the basement. Of course, mostly I just post because I like Obsidian games. And this is their forum, not a gaming superiority complex club. "Objective truth", I like that. I'm going to start using those words if you don't mind? Nep another reason we post is that we know we are right and Drowsy is wrong, isn't that a reason?
  25. The UN is there to serve the interests of the world and its members. But maybe you can explain to me how letting Syria decline into a country where millions of its citizens are displaced, tens of thousands of its people are killed and its infrastructure is destroyed is in the interests of anyone? And to make things worse Western countries aren't asking Russia and China to support them with resources in Syria they are just saying "allow us to intervene" Not that China or Russia would assist in any military conflict unless there national interests were threatened of course.
