This is a hypothetical USA where we can control laws, so its just fantasy but yes that would be one outcome for a certain type of person Its a mess at the moment in a social sense the USA, there are many unnecessary conflicts and increased reticence . There are populist movements, exaggerated support from all minorities for a certain candidate, false dichotomies around racial tension, unfair targeting of the authorities, constant media blaming and your country is being hacked by Russian supported cyber-terrorism. There was blatant contempt towards the USA about the Aleppo peace deal by Russia and yet the only thing that seems to concern you guys is defending Assange because he attacks Hilary....yet Assange is part of constant attempts to undermine the USA and he is aligned with Snowden who conveniently ended up in .......Russia People like yourself get framed in an unfair way and the GOP has been hijacked by an embarrassment to white people. Of course this will eventually settle but in what direction ? Most people on this forum have acknowledged times seem to be grim but no one has analyzed and given theories on the social changes and events that have contributed directly towards this So yes in my world I would make things more stable, you should be thanking me Imagine no more unreasonable worry and angst ?

Yes, but what does "bad" mean to you? You'd probably enjoy living in a totalitarian system. Edit: Probably Hilzilla's term would look something like this: https://fee.org/articles/how-roman-central-planners-destroyed-their-economy/ But hey, they lasted for 1000 years! Edit2: Then there's this: http://nypost.com/2016/10/06/fbi-agents-are-ready-to-revolt-over-the-cozy-clinton-probe/ Yeay for gangster government! Its a good question, I didnt think you would ask for clarification Okay lets be transparent, what would you say would be considered bad under HIlary I wouldn't want to live under a totalitarian state but I have several improvements and ways I would improve the general social status in the USA. In my USA things would be very similar to the way they are now but I would expect people to be patriotic and actually care about the USA I am not interested in people living in the USA who think people like Assange and Snowden are heroes or think Russia is a great nation who we should emulate .....so I would try to reschool people and failing that they would be deported with all there resources. But I wouldn't imprison people or kill them for there views. Its just they can go live somewhere else

Guys dont worry about the polls, rather use an objective source of information like me You must at least prepare yourself for a Hilary victory, if the Hilary presidency is as bad as you guys think I wont EVER comment on US politics on this forum again I have prepared myself for a Trump victory.....its not ideal but its not the end of the world

For heavens sake NO. As Pidesco mentioned, that's just the probability of either of them winning. The actual vote spread (according to 538) is more like 48.5% v. 43.3%. The gap started widening on Sept 26 and hasn't narrowed since them. Clinton has flipped Ohio, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina and Nevada back into her column. Trump stands no chance of winning if that holds unless turnout numbers for the Dems go into the toilet. it just needs to end now so we can go back to the normal reality in the USA There will be a new and much more palatable GOP candidate after Trump...you know I just realized something I never thought I would need to admit, I miss the old GOP institutions and the guys who Trump side stepped. I would take any of them now over Trump even Carson? My advice to all our Republican friends is dont stress about this election, its okay to not vote....you still make a statement. Or just do what GD and others did and vote 3rd party ? Hahaha What? Dont you realize people can be conflicted ...remember, and no offense to you guys in the EU, but most people in the USA actually like the USA

Holy Smoke is Clinton that far ahead, 78% vs 22 % ?

Interesting post, see the quotes below. I would say this is true based on certain events and views people have ? "Nevertheless, the results they present are eye-popping. On a wide range of issues, bureaucrats believe that Americans are ignorant. For instance, over half of them say that the public knows little to nothing about government crime programs, child care programs or environmental programs. Predictably, the bureaucrats also think that the government should not take what the public says too seriously. Mostly, they believe that officials like them should use their best judgment instead of following public opinion. A lot of this elitism is probably justifiable. When only 36 percent of adults can name the three branches of government, you wouldn’t want to hand over control of FDA to, say, your next-door neighbor. In the sample of bureaucrats that Bachner and Ginsberg looked at, the majority had master’s degrees or more. It should be a comfort knowing that there exists a specialized class of people who have dedicated their lives to understanding the intricacies of, say, tax credits for the poor or the diplomatic intrigues of the Caucasus. Bachner and Ginsberg don’t dispute that many voters are ignorant. In their view, however, D.C. insiders are needlessly disdainful of the regular Americans they are supposed to be helping and that this breeds distrust on both sides. Perhaps that’s one reason, they say, that American faith in government is at a 50-year low.

Welcome back Vals, I have missed your irrational views on topics

Dont worry you will find other work Did you really use to strip? I'm not too worried, I'll start looking for new work tomorrow. My job was the bulk of my income but not all of it as I've always tried to have multiple income streams and I'll still be collecting a check until February anyway Not professionally The reason I asked about the whole stripping profession is despite what some people think about why people work in strip clubs I dont judge how people earn there money because unless I have walked in someone shoes I dont know there story and there personal journey So for me its a job, I see absolutely no issues with it

Yes I found that out later, I wonder if she goes around the USA saying things like " The demand for free education is only unrealistic because we continue to live within the mandates of capitalism,”
-
Do you understand how bizarre that argument is? A national museum does a major exhibition just because they happen to have a pin with a name on it. But they absolutely can not obtain any item of Thomas, or just put up a photo, and therefore have to skip over him entirely. lol WOD you know I'm very committed to the new South Africa and addressing the past But there is a small group of African Americans who honestly come to SA as special guests and say things which are just not true about the reality of the USA or they tell black South African things they should do or believe which just create social discord and confusion i know this sounds like I'm being unnecessarily critical but I promise you Im not, for example Angela Davis said in her speech " the only reason SA doesnt have free tertiary education is because the government looks at education in a Capitalist lens " ( how else should we see it....in a Communist lens )
-
Have you guys in the USA ever heard of a African American women called Angela Davis? She is famous in the civil rights movement...she came to SA as a guest recently and really added to our social issues with a misplaced speech she made http://ewn.co.za/2016/09/09/US-political-activist-Angela-Davis-delivers-17th-annual-Steve-Biko-Lecture

Dont you think we first need to define what " drive a conversation into the ground " means?
-
WOD you cant take it seriously, I have been subjected to similar jokes If you believe you are right about something then just link it and if people dont believe you thats there choice. But dont get annoyed by people disputing what you say or teasing you Its just examples of forum badinage ....its to be expected

This is actually more relevant than you may realize. Many people considering remembering or asking for names as extremely important, I am terrible with names at times and this can be very embarrassing if you have a sales role so I worked out effective ways to get someones name so you dont look silly In this case I would say something " thanks for the chat the other day, I enjoyed it. Whats your name by the way, I am Malc" This way you are recognising the conversation as relevant but you also want to introduce yourself Well my initial concern was why she was talking to me so was off guard. Only people begging for change or psychos talk to me first I have different customers and I am always talking to people, its not uncommon to have an initial chat to someone that could be quite long and interesting yet forget to ask each others names Sometimes the chat is enough and I dont get the persons name but if its more significant then I ask peoples names. And generally its always me who has to introduce first when I talk to strangers

that made me laugh

http://www.thewrap.com/cnn-instant-poll-hands-debate-victory-to-mike-pence-over-tim-kaine/ So the general consensus is Pence won the debate over Kaine. This doesn't change people's view on who to vote for in the presidential debate as it applies to VP only Probably not. Now if Pence were the Presidential Candidate it might. Probably best not think of roads not taken. It will only depress us further. I meant to agree with you earlier and say I think Pence would be a better choice for president for the GOP, he has real control of his emotions and makes certain cogent points. Its a pity he had to spend a fair amount of time depending Trump in the VP debate. You noticed he didnt allow himself to get distracted by some of Kaines valid comments about what Trump has been saying. I do think he is a better candidate than Trump I really like Kaine but I dont think he is the better or stronger choice for the Democrats than Hilary

I started watching Westworld from HBO, as usual almost anything from HBO is excellent and this seems to be following the same formulae. Here is the trailer if you haven't seen it

The sad thing is, no one will care. This won't matter. That's because it's not about him. It's about stopping Clinton. The same it true with her. If Wikileaks releases proof she took a bribe in the Uranium One fiasco it won't matter because half of the country already thinks she did. The supporters of either candidate do not love them. Far from it. They the hate the other candidate more. It really is the epitome of electoral dysfunction. Part of what you say resonates with me, I"ll be honest I find most of your post depressing yet I cant deny everything you say
