P.S.: It is not a criticism, I have read your "disclaimers", my alternatives are only "variations on the theme" You can build a "corrode" druid, but I'd change spiritshifts, stats and most of the equip, so Rhuar as he is, is more than welcomed P.P.S: and thank you SO MUCH to have built a DRUID for Aestus, I'm looking forward to hear you and watch the video, very special Christmas gift! Love you

Yes, we sadly know... but autumn's decays is not so poor. And you can use Rotfinger Gloves (I love it) for Touch of Rot (they had to let this spell on third or fourth druid level...). Ah, and Rot Skulls in 1 is funny as range AoE weapon with high INT. And enough with these shocking druids! Yes, but... CladhalĂath and Danulkya are so insane And why not? You can have a spear and a hatchet. Ok, pierce damage and so on, but spiritshift doesn't last forever, and having those two spears together with your fists... you know, I prefer having them, without penetration system in 1 there are only earth blights I think you can have troubles with pierce damage, come on Ah, ok, I didn't consider enchantment cost. By the way, Wayfarer's Hide is the best looking armor for this character and in Poe1 armor doesn't make so many difference

What a good character with a very nice story behind him! A funny druid to play with, for sure. As a well-know druid maximum expert and bearer of the self assigned title of "Best Druids Lover and Academic in the Universe" I wanna share some thoughts about him. First of all, shock is the best choice for a druid, but I think this character fits better with some ground-related element, so I'd pick corrode damage: Spirit of Decay and related Wildstrike talent. Then, I think like a waste taking Nature's Balm as third level mastery spell, as you already have Nature's Vigor, so I'd pick Infestation of Maggots because it fits well with the bugs thing and is an AoE, or Twin Stones, ground-related and also AoE. You can chose Calling the World's Maw for 4th tier with the same reasons, but indeed, Form of the Delemgan has its why, for sure. About equipment, you can also have spears as backup weapons, pierce damage and there are many unique ones very special, and I think is nice with a "boar" PG. Wayfarer's Hide looks awesome but I consider it a little weak; Blaidh Golan is beautiful on him and maybe Husk of the Great Western Stag is pretty. Last one has also +2 Athletics. If you take Blaidh Golan, it has already preservation enchantment so you can switch Ring of Thorns (even if it is perfect for a "forest" character) with Gwyn's Band of Union: +4 INT on top of high INT instead of +3 DEX with average DEX. So I speak

I'm sorry, I don't catch the point: would be better using a multi-hit weapon and/or two weapons setup with avenging storm (more proc per time)? I don't also see how the sickened or hobbled impact so much with avenging storm, can you elaborate please? About the OP request: I think the best melee class to go both game also powerful in 1 as well in 2 and neat as single class in Deadfire is monk. Plenty of ways to build it with subclass in Deadfire, see previous suggestions. Modwyr is good versus INT affliction and with a monk you can use well the speed enchantment, but I agree, there are many more effective weapons for monks. Abydon's hammer is great for caster, I agree, but could be also funny for a monk in some encounters. With Berath ending a Paladin can fit well (RPG-wise), I'd like to multiclass him with a chanter in Deadfire - the King of auras But Berath and always good endings for quest... mmm, it can be, but hard I suppose.

Veteran's Maneuver description says: Self (on combat start): Immunity to attacks vs. Reflex until Hit (excludes Graze) twice by attacks not targeting Reflex Ok, so far it's ok. But if you cast a scroll of avenging storm it is counted as an attack, thus when you cast two of them, Veteran's Maneuver is over! Very disappointing because I discovered it while I was fighting a megaboss Playing in a windows 11 PC with last Steam version of the game.

Hi, I think it's always wrong dumping MIG anytime: you have to damage and heal (drink potions and so on) so never never low MIG. And I believe Ascendant ability gain so much from MIG. RES can stay mid/low, but in a party you can raise it, if you want go "heavy" as a tank. PER always HIGH/MAX in solo, in a party you can stay HIGH, no way below 13/14, game become less fun otherwise imho. So i'd make somenthing like: MIG mid/hig CON mid DEX mid + remaining from the rest if you have PER high INT max RES low/mid.

I think it should not have bonus of the "fire" ring. Only weapon with burn damage should have +10 ACC from the ring. Dragon's Dowry has "only" lash burn damage. So it is right to remove fire keywords from the arquebus. But also @Noqn solution is good because at least make things clear (something like "has it fire keywords? So lets give it all the good and all the bad from fire"); the optional additional solution (adding burn damage and decrease PEN by 1) it's even better. Thus everybody can pick the most pleasant solution for himself/herself Anyway: what a mess with "elementals" (and not only) keywords

Hi, I totally agree with Boeroer (how can I contradict him? ). I think Weyc's equip could be good for a wizard, especially a single class one. There are few wands in the game, but special ones are fine, and the modal fits well with a debuffing character. Avoid scepter as backup weapon, they do crush damage but its modal is dangeorus for Bloodmages, in case of pierce resistance enemies, I'd go with wand and debuffing modal (but you should be full of spells, so you sould not have this problem ). Anyway, Bloodmage is maybe the best class option to be played single class, so in doubt I'll do in this way.

Agree 100% @TJ-Galad if you don't wanna "waste" point in PER (in the case of Lifegiver i.e.) some companions have high PER (Maia Rua - 17, and she comes almost early), some early companion (Serafen, Pallegina, Mirke) have good PER (about 14) and with early pet, item, prostitute boons and/or rest/food you can reach easily 16/17 for one of them (I add: it is recommended to have ALWAYS an high PER character, especially early / mid game). If you wish I can "spoiler" the "minimun" PER needed to discover ALL traps and secrets

There should be a DAoM potion like in PoE1 You could get some protection from engagement/disengagement with items, but I recognise having DAoM as spell is much better. You can also go ranged, maybe for a Magran Priest, for a Wael is more difficult, maybe you can decide that SoT + BDD WITHOUT Brilliant can't be cheese... and in a party some defenses tools can come from companions. But I agree, speed + DEX + stride + no engagement at level 3 is a great thing
-
True indeed, but if you are a Wael Priest you have many speed self buff, litanies and prayers usually are fast, you have some fast debuffs and with Wael's spells defense plus BDD + SoT you have plenty of time to cast average and slow spells as Minor Avatar, DftF and so on Arquebus is better but a dual wield pistol can do wonders as well. Even if mid-later game pistols are better, Eccea's Arcane Blaster especially Keeping in topic I agree is better a Priest of Wael / Psion as combo (more defenses while building focus), if you wanna go more aggressive and use an ascendant, then I'd take Skaen to enhance focus through defense debuffs early (Barbs of Condemnation, Divine Mark) then you'll get Finshing Blows and Minor Avatar, as Spiritual Weapon you have club which helps Cipher's spell with its modal and you have also some defensive spells (Escape, Shadowing Beyond). I think he could be also pretty funny

Is that a 9th level top-model wood elf active ability?

Savegame file is actually zip file. You can unzip but you'll find a list of files which are no-text file and whoever knows what reader you need to read it. The question is: are we sure PoE1 choices are in these files? I've found an interesting suggestion here: Journal -> Journal tab (on the top of the menu, on PC at least) -> Biography He says that it doesn't cover everything, but you can give a try and let us know If I have time I wanna first understand where these information are and second, how to extract them...but I doubt I'll find time for that... but at least the first point, maybe... Edit: perhaps they can be found with console with command "DisplayLegacyHistoryWindow()" or something like that (see this and this) but this needs more exploration...

By PG i mean "main character". Ok, i think Io see now, you have no savegame of PoE1 and only a savegame in PoE2 (with main char at 17) with decision imported from Poe1, is it right? If you have already dig inside main char diary, complete mission, options (maybe in some difficulty options etc. there are somenthing... I doubt about that but you can check if you want), the only other thing you can do is searching in current game data. Unfortunately now I have no clue about where and what to look for, you should find some .xml files, try to search for some string of PoE1 choice; here https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Histories you can find some of those, i.e. "Hollowborn", "pledge", "animancy" and so on. Maybe try withj case insensitive search. The trouble could be programmers didn't use meaningful strings, or (worst) they saved them in some internal program memory and you have no chances to retrieve them, but you can make an attempt.
