I'm thinking wether a form can have a kind of distracting attack instead of some else abilities, maybe cat or wolf?

I think a faster recovery rate is fine, as it is only for melee, and it would be the same as vanilla. You're suggesting to replace that with a modal like Rapid Shot, with a penalty to accuracy? Ideally, I would like to keep at least 1 passive featur, and 1 weapon modal for each form - and Bleeding Cut is a modal. It also comes with a penalty to recovery speed, which kind of offsets Cat's passive faster recovery rate, so it shouldn't be too much? Ok, you are right, but I think that "faster recovery rate, Bleeding Cut"is the best "combo" among all your spiritshifts abilties, something like "unbalanced". Maybe the reverse, rapid shot and plain passive DoT damage? Or something else to balance cat with others. Ok and thanks for Bear and Boar explanations, for Boar yes, indeed, it must have a prone/knockdown or something like that, that's what I meant.

I like the "passive" bonus enhancement for spiritshifts. Here's my ideas in italic. Bear - +2 AR, +1 (or +2) Engagement, Rending Smash. --> I 'd like a block modal as medium shields, maybe +1 engagement and block or something similar, with +2 AR and no Rending Smash. Boar - +2 AR, Interfering Strikes, Savage Attacker (we give it two modals). --> Overbearing shot instead of Savage Attack, savage attack is thought for a 2 hand weapons, Overbearing shot also but I think it simulate a boar charge (which is its main feature in the real world). The rest is ok. Wolf - bonus accuracy when attacking same enemy as an ally, Windmill Slash. --> ok Cat - faster recovery rate, Bleeding Cut. --> I think this could become the strongest form with these 2 passives. Maybe instead a full faster recovery rate, a modal like Rapid Shot, more speed with a ACC penalty. Bleeding Cut ok. Stag - Carnage, +1 Engagement, Deflective Strike (or Carnage, bonus deflection, Interfering Strikes). --> You mean Defensive Strike. I'd say Carnage, +1 Engagement and Defensive Strike.

Ok, you can raise the value to 40 or 50%, or better, leave the armor recovery as it is now (or just 20%, or like 35% armor) and put 40%/50% speed penalty when you are not using your animal attack or abilities (thus spellcasting and/or character abilities of human shape, watcher abilities and so on...).

Well, any class level easily if you can die how many times you want That's why I said druid is easier: they can manage cave bear more easily due to Charm Beast and Hold Beasts, Cipher and Priest can come close with some charm and block, but Druids are the best in that and until Caed Nua XP are restricted also in SOLO, so cave bear XP can make the difference. I don't know if something has changed, but a Wizard PotD SOLO TCS has to go stealth many times till Caed Nua. Yes you can gather XP points quicly that way, but I've never seen a wizard doing all fights before he reached level 5 or similar. Yes I like playing that way too. Three or foru runs, then it begins to be boring You know, it's TCS, if you die you have to restart form the begin... it's normal they play that way Yes, house rules, you can use them. But depending on the class and the fight, you need consumable spamming. A last level wizard or priest (maybe also Cipher) can manage almost any encounter without consumables, but I don't think a rogue or fighter can beat Brynlod or Llengrath without extensive use of scrolls...

Hi, good catch. I'd improve spiritshifts for all subclass and plain druids Spellcast allowed but whit -3 or -5 power level penalty. Or speed and/or recovery penalty (20%?) I think it is too much. I'd prefer long duration but you can choose one form, which you prefer among all, for one encounter. I believe all animals/forms should have one passive and one active abilities, also overlapping, all balanced with each other. For all spiritshifts, all druids, all subclass either multi or not. They should be spiritshifts "features", not dependent by class or other questions.

I agree 100%. Late game with Citzal's Martial Power wizard becomes a war machine, you can also all low levels buff (Merciless Gaze, DaoM) and defensive buffs (Wizard's Double etc.) as master spelles, and why not also Arcane Veil and you start stomping foes. A ranged version with Caedebald's Blackbow is also very powerful.

If you exclude Aloth and GM Pallegina is good. I think a caster should be better, also WM companions are good, maybe also Zahua can fit well. Why Magran? It is not bad but also Durance is a Magran priest. Hiravias can be built as a typical cat druid off-tank, druid is always powerful in PoE1 with relentless storm and all that mighty spells.

Angio's is very good, potions of DAoM is ok but you need a lot of resources and in some fights you need those slots for other consumables I think. MIN MAX is not necessary, it is only optimization and ok, DEX is more important in Deadfire, in PoE1 you can reach 0 recovery and there is durgan steel etc. so it is ok. I keep my idea, 8 or 10 CON is not an great difference. Dual weapons is almost always a must. Plate armor in solo is very hard to wear late game... you'll tell to me Cipher has AoE spells, but in SOLO in PoE1 in some battles you can also use (or have to use) scrolls of paralysis, confusion ecc I think a Chiper can also raise PER, but I mean ACC for sure

You mean Focus, I guess. Anyway, alternative stats is better imho. I'd prefer skip DEX with PER, PER 10 is viable and I like high DEX characters. Best should be dump RES and CON and MAX INT, DEX before and then MIG and PER as you wish. If you must have RES 6 (good reason that you explained), I'd dump CON and raise DEX, but if you prefer, you can keep CON mid (maybe 8 or 7 to gain 2 points for others stat, it can be raise to 9 or 10 with bonus and eq easily) and then tend to have high DEX and PER instead of MIG... let me tray: MIG - 14 CON - 7 DEX - 18 PER - 14 INT - 19 RES - 6 So you max DEX and INT, PER and MIG with bonus can go high enough, if you prefer MAX PER or MIG, distribution like 12 and 16 have little sense, maybe the theory should be MAX PER but also in TCS PER 14 is absolutely viable , Chiper can increase it easily and MIG 14 is a good compromise. If you MAX PER, you can drop shield with weapons style, best style for a Cipher is two weapons and with high PER you can get "defense" through afflictions of weapons and abilities. Plate armor can be good early game, later even naked is better. IIRC in PoE1 you can respec full stats and abilities/talent, so you can start with plate, shield, more CON and high PER and then respec with more MIG, light armor and two weapons.

Form this point of view I agree, caster classes are not boring at all, among the martial classes monks, rangers, barbs and rogues can be made funny with some abilities and/or eq, Fighter/Pally are boring, in particularly I'd say plain fighter or devoted with pretty defensive paladin subclasses such as Goldpact Knights, Kind Wayfarers and The Shieldbearers of St. Elcga. I'd put Darcozzi a little bit above because flame shield can have an offensive usage.

Ok, some of you are right so we want it, we need it and *I* deserve it Anyway there was a patch a short time ago for PoE1, Deadfire has a good base of community still posting, making videos and catching bugs... thus a little bit also these people deserve it Maybe it is not financially sustainable, maybe there are too few people following PoE, however little people but great involvement from them... Hope is the last to die

I'm not interested in financial questions, the community deserves PoE3

Yeah, we need and deserve it!

There's a bug with which you can stack up to three infinite bonuses with Hunter's Claw and its upgrades. If you don't wanna be worried about bonded grief you can pick Ghost Heart. You can pick Nature's Resolve also or am I missing something? Anyway I think there's other weaker MC than ranger/barb. I agree fighter/rogue is a strong MC, also Debonaire/Unbroken, I only state it has "counter" synergy (indeed, Boeroer stated that). Only thing for sure so far: a monk is never a bad choice in MC. Maybe a Shattered Pillar / Black Jacket has little sense, but he performs well the same.

Ranger has nothing to with "ranged", I suppose, etymologically spoken A part from this, I agree, a Stalker with Hunter's claw and its upgrades can be a great melee character. Druid/Paladin is not so bad, I agree another time , maybe not great synergy but there are worse combos. You need to agree on word "worst", does it mean poorest? most boring? less synergy? Less synergies I think Boeroer catch it: Debonaire/Unbroken. Boring I bet is Fighter/Paladin. Poorest you can think about it, but I guess is nor Paladin/Druid neither Barb/Ranger. About barb/ranger Corpse Eater/Ghost Heart is a bad choice: many resources wasted and no particularly advantages. But it is neither so weak nor boring. Another bad MC is Bleak Walker / Priest of Berath: the reason is I wanted to do it but it is forbidden cause cruel disposition conflict
