  1. Also, as an aside, yesterday I was starving so I had to go to the vending machine at work which is in the lunchroom, during lunch time. Turns out my workplace has taken zero effort to actually separate people during lunchtime. All ~100 or so people went to eat dinner at the same time, and sat next to eachother, shoulder to shoulder. I wonder why gothenburg has serious issues with spread of the disease? Also, we passed 10000 dead this week I think it was. Good stuff...
  2. Speaking of https://www.gp.se/nyheter/göteborg/swedes-have-been-deceived-with-false-corona-documents-1.39822317 There's a clinic that offered COVID tests, never sent anything to the lab, but gave certificates that they were tested and free of the virus.
  3. I brought it to my sanctuary. I mean, cool fresh beer in the wasteland? Yeah, I'm definetly taking that. That said, I'm looking forward to Fallout New Vegas; The Frontier, it's supposed to come out soon, and it looks cool! To add to my little rant from monday by the by, I've been telling the night shift to stop using their ****ing dirty ass gloves inside the tractors. Every day this week I've had to spend upwards of thirty minutes to wipe every ****ing gripping surface; the steering wheel, control joystick, the knob to move the armrest with the joystick out of the way. But. Not. The. ****ing. HANDBRAKE. I HATE the idiots working the night shift.
  4. It's so nice... unless I start hearing my tinnitus
  5. Weak. I mean, they should be thankful, there's alot of people who pay people to be their keyholder, this guys' taken it on himself without taking huge amounts of money upfront. Vice calls it ransom, I call it a steal! Honestly can't ever remember it happening to me, and backspace to go backwards I use all the time. Atleast I can reenable it.
  6. Been home from work for five weeks now, I'm supposed to start work today, and I'm really not looking forward to it. Only because I work the 15-24:00 shift. Any of the others I want to do, but I hate working with the night shift since their jockeys are moronic dip****s that I always have to dress down. Then again, at the moment I'm blissfully unaware of them destroying any of our stuff, but that'll only last until I log into my work email. Edit; I'm also not looking forward to going to work with a cold, noone is going to be happy to see someone coughing and sneezing.
  7. I don't think the net is a problem as much as constant access to it, smartphones. You don't need to know things anymore since they're a quick google away, not that you necessarily find the correct information or such ofcourse, The Algorithm will find you results that you want rather than what you need afterall. Having to learn how to find information, process and understanding it isn't as important as it was in the beginning of the milennia. Ofcourse, having twitter and facebook always be there to constantly reinforce your bubble as soon as it's protective membrane starts to dissolve aswell.
  8. What it says on the tin, it's quite fun hearing the designer of some of the past decades most awesome looking cars(Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Ferrari F430, Maserati Quattroporte, Maserati GranTurismo, McLaren MP4-12C, McLaren P1 to name a few) talk about the design of Cyberpunks vehicles!
  9. It's nice to be european for once
  10. Well, they could've stayed virgins, likely not gotten infected, AND recieved a wizard certificate when they hit 30!
  11. Yeah, Fallout, Syndicate and Shadowrun. There are probably more that I'm not remembering ontop of my head, I try to not memorize it all lest I become depressed.
  12. Heh, I know my dad supported helping african countries out because he didn't want "them" here... =P Well, it was particularly egregious considering that HIV was/is a huge problem in SA, and I was much more socially active back then since I was unemployed and had way too much time. I was sent to a youth centre to hide unemployment figures help them with their staffing problem together with some of my friends. There were alot of people there that was very much in favour of "alternatives" to science, and I was a member of the Swedish Skeptics' Association so I read alot of journals and listened to a bunch of podcasts where I read and heard her statements.
  13. Those are kickstarters though, and not AAA. Well, maybe not XCOM, but the others were, and as much as I like Fallout New Vegas, I'd rather the franchise rest in peace and not have F3, F4 and F76. And then theres Syndicate, the 2007 Shadowrun.
  14. I'll be honest, I hope not. I'm done with AAA "animate dead" of my old favourite games.
  15. Thank you, and the same to you! It's not impossible, though I can't find any statistics here. My doctor was unconcerned enough to actually meet me without full NBC protection this time though, so there's that! That said, I've always been "weak" when it comes to colds, they hang on forever it seems and my father is the same. Bad enough that my father used to have the nickname "Snöret"/"Snotty"(Much catchier in english than in Swedish, but much more accurate in Swedish since the same word means rope, and we're both lanky ****s ) which lead to me growing up as "Lil' Snotty" once I met some of them. That said, I've never really had a proper knockout flu. I took my test on monday morning, so I got it somewhat quicker than expected considering that wednesday was a holiday, they expected up to 7 days. I've not been really bad during the past two weeks, just a very runny nose, coughing and sneezing, no fever or such, but sitting still this much has been really bad for my general health and I had a temporary swelling of my right foot which, again, scared the **** outta me.
  16. Garlic mate. Garlic against HIV. And beetroot. From your former minister of health. So, rare? Heh, not really.
  17. My covid test came back negative, I've just been having a long drawn out cold.
  18. Granted it was a 3080 I ordered, but I literally had to wait ninety-two days. September 17 to December 18.
  19. You got it in two days?!
  20. "Dev morale is on an all time down and Sony is roasting our asses due to the gigantic volume of refund requests." Also, I'm still amazed that noone remembers Skyrim performance on consoles at release.
  21. Main reason why I will never buy a modern vehicle. I don't even have bluetooth connectivity to my stereo
  22. Once/If modders can get animation files for npcs to work on V, it'd be alot better yeah.
  23. It's Lovecraftesque
  24. Sourced from 4chan, so bear that in mind. It reads as a mishmash of fan favorite theories that's been around for the past month. They mean to tell me that they not only did they rewrite the entire game two years ago to give Silverhand the central role, that'd then mean they had to rerecord most other VA lines aswell, I just don't buy it.
