Yeah, I managed to get 2% into the update before it failed xD

Not really surprised, but it seems the GOG servers aren't really ready for the load, I keep getting errors trying to download the last patch
-
I'd start twitching for sure
-
Well, I bought a copy from GOG since the company I bought my CE from sent it out late today, so I will have an extra copy tomorrow or the day after
-
True, but if we consider preloads and consoles it is inevitable to be forced to have a day one patch in some way shape or form.
-
I'm a bit annoyed by this aswell, given how digital distribution and day 1 patches are par for the course nowadays. Yup, they did report alot of improvements from their day 0 patch, so it'd be fair to say more are on the way. I'm not expecting a perfect day 1 patch though. I have a feeling it might be an "epilepsy" patch.
-
I'll delay my judgement of that until the day 1 patch actually drops

Hahaha! It's not far off, no I could've gotten off cheaper if I were to buy an index from the get-go. I'd have landed at about 1200$ instead. But the HTC Vive was available in a store (Very important to me) near me, the index is only from Steam. Came to use though since one of the base stations were damaged. That'd be one of the downsides of the base stations, they seem to be somewhat fragile.
-
I reckon the more expensive ones are hanging on only because of the high price really. Counting in the fact that I've bought the Steam Index VR controllers I'm up to a bit over 2000$ for all my kit. HTC Vive pro kit+ extra base station + index controllers.

"And they're too far away!" It's weird though. He's lived alone for 15 years or so now, and hasn't cleaned his house since, but woe betide you if you dare put the 16mm spanner to the right of the 17mm on the ground when you're working with them! >_<'

Or non-release, as it were

You have my sympathies, I'm just waiting for a GPU. I feel worse for my friend that is sitting on my old 7970 and is waiting for my Vega 64 so that he can play Cyberpunk 2077
-
I've been staring at the shipment page of my Collectors Edition CP2077. I'm not obsessed, k? I'm just worried that someone might get the idea to steal it.
-
The EULA for CP2077 is a beauty. https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/user-agreement/

I have a feeling that if you were to get a VR headset you would go "Nope, the viewports are to small, need atleast an extra inch" Thank you! It was the one time in the past decade that a supercell actually went over us, I was excited as all hell, asked to borrow my dads camera and sat around from 00:34 to 01:59 and took a bunch of pictures. This annoyed the living **** out of my father, he's a bit... special, and he keeps an excel spreadsheet for ALL of his pictures detailing all the settings like aperture, focal and so on, and what the image shows. So he wanted me to sit and detail everything for him and write it down, so I said "Ok, I'll just delete the images of just dark skies." He flipped and went on ranting about how the camera will not recognize that the number series has changed and all the images from there on will not have the correct numbering, ie it'll be dsc_7472 and not at dsc_7450 where the last image was 7449.

Yong has a tendency to read everything out to his viewers, for good or bad, but it seems he skipped that part this time. He does mention there is DRM in his vid, and speculates that it might impact his performance, which reads to me as if he hadn't read the information from CDPR. Thing is that CDPR had warned reviewers that the DRM would heavily effect the performance of the game, and as such any performance conclusions they draw from before launch would be invalid. Oh, that bit wasn't aimed at you, more to a certain someone that steps forth from the shadows to defend DRM as soon as someone speaks ill of them
-
For someone so keen on reading everything verbatim to his viewers, he didn't bother to read that part. I wonder if a certain someone will come running to scream how DRM doesn't affect performance

Hahaha! Yeah, not worth the climate change I think My mother was furious that I outgrew her when I was like ten or eleven or something like that! Your brother and I have similar build Dammit, I can't find a single image of me standing straight up anywhere. I did find an image of a lead lightning when I was toying with pops cam though! (Quality is ****, I know, I had/have no idea what I was doing, the camera was just resting on a windowsill because I had no tripod)

I never really tested any cheap alternatives myself, I got the HTC Vive Pro Eye since I wanted a relatively big area to play on and high precision tracking. I don't know to what degree this is correct, but any VR headset that doesn't use external sensors has problems with tracking your input, and that's not something I wanted to deal with. And from what I know HTC still makes the Cosmos headset.

I'm 193cms tall according to the police, or 6 Feet, 3.9843inches. I might be off, I don't have my ID nearby to check, and I'm not particularly keen on getting out of bed to fetch it I'll be honest, generally speaking when I walk about town, I don't really feel tall, there are plenty of people my height. I'm tiny compared to how tall my grandpop was though. My mother is on the short side though, so I guess I got a bit used to a "wide" span of heights. It's funny though, if you were to line up the males on my fathers side I would be exactly average height.

I'm still waiting for my Collectors Edition, don't know when it'll arrive, but I do know I just recieved an bill for it, so no preload for me.

Hahaha! She was really attractive, but I doubt she was much more than 25, shes doing her internship. Besides, I'm pretty sure she cooled right down once she told me to take my shirt of and realized I had **** bigger than hers Those earrings are awesome! But yeah, **** 2020.

Back home now, met with the doctor. Got the papers to prove it. Doctor was fun; "Wow, you're tall!" "Ofcourse that would've hurt, you're really tall!" "Well, you're quite tall, so about two metres then?" I believe it's quite official, she deemed me very tall. So I'm tall. I just hope that's not what she writes in the papers

Waiting for a doctor's appointment in my car. Have had bad back pain for a few weeks since I tumbled off the yard tractor at work and I want a doctor's certificate to prove that I am unwell and not skipping work for 1. Cyberpunk 2077 2. Not wanting to sit in the gatehouse next week.

Oh, no, it's just for the first year season pass. The others and their numbers are to follow.
