I'm not one bit surprised if it turns out to be accurate.

Met some friends this evening, they pressured me to playing poker with them, not exactly happy about that, but was nice to see them anyway. Made sure to lose early on. Just got home while driving through the most awful driving weather I've met yet. There's about 3-4 cms of wet sludge on the road wich was really treacherous, occasionally it felt like you'd hit a wall or something, had alot of aquaplaning aswell. I just hope it doesn't freeze during the night or it's going to be really bad.

I can't refute that claim in any way, since I at one point had 20+ cats at once. =D Feeding time was like the greeting scene from Ace Ventura; Pet Detective... -

Haha! This isn't aimed at you, but I do feel that is a very common thing in general. -

You still could risk toxoplasma infection from kittehpoo though; “However, there is good evidence that Toxoplasma gondii exposure during pregnancy can lead to serious birth defects and other health problems in children.” So she's still got something to fall back on -
If they only had had a wall to protect them :/

1) The higher the octane the less risk of knocking at higher compression ratios of the cylinders, the higher compression ratio the better efficiency. The lowest available in Sweden and most of Scandinavia iirc is 95, 98 is also available and E85 has 104. 2) 3) Traffic and theft, can't get full insurance on mine anywhere. *Sob* 4) It's pretty neat, but there are alot of caveats; You must save atleast 2 hours of commuting time compared to public transport, and you have to spend atleast ~1100$ before you're eligible to write anything off. And they keep increasing the amount too. Last year it was ~1k$, next year they've increased it again to 1200$ and you're only able to deduct from the funds you go over the limit. Then again, they keep increasing the petrol tax, we're at something like 1.2$/Litre now. They really want to stop people from commuting. It's a really serious situation, and we are in the vast majority of cases talking about keeping people alive. It's not something you can shrug off, it constantly hangs over you and pulls you into depressions. Transgendered people have huge problems with depressions and suicide, and these surgeries help them.

Hmm... 1) Pfft! Weak! I pay 57$. Then again, that only gets me 36 litres of 95 Oktane petrol. =( 2) Yeah, I want this too. The salt used on roads here eats metal like noones buisiness! 3) I've got a much older car than you though, so my insurance is much lower at 370$/year. But I drive a non interesting car from '98. 4) That's what I'd have to pay per day if I worked in the mail department. But, atleast in this shia-law controlled communist hellhole gives me ~1000$ back in tax returns for the fuel

At the time that study was published, there were more foreign Scandinavians (Danes, Norweigians, Finns and Icelandic) committing crimes in Sweden than Africans.

I remember the first time we played Mummy, noone of us except the GM had a clue what it would be like or what it was about, so there was much hilarity around. My character got the worst of it though, waking up one morning and going to take a shave when instead of being greeted with his own face a young egyptian woman stared back at him... Sudden compunctions to wear "prettier clothing" and things like that, realizing one morn' about to leave to work that a summer dress isn't what he's supposed to be wearing... We did get more serious later though.

Except that they are allowed to say such things and wouldn't risk their jobs by doing so. And by your own words, Springare is delusional aswell. These are statistics from the Swedish National Crime Survey. Translation for the colours; Threat, Harassment, Fraud, Assault, Sex-crimes, Muggings. Reported crimes in the city of Malmö, the town where we unfortunately dump many immigrants and one of the areas where we have had the most reported problems. Number of deaths caused by another person per 100 000 residents and their gender. Edit; Forgot the sexcrimes stats, will update in a moment. Can't get the actual graph to link properly, so here are the numbers; Overall reprted sexcrimes in 2006; 12147 In 2015 18057 In 2005 there were changes to the law that meant that some crimes that were previously sexual exploitation became rape instead and the law was changed further to include that if the victim simply was too scared to resist, it would also be classified as rape. This does'nt account for all of the increase though.

Ah, that would be Changeling the Dreaming then, the Lost is a different beast alltogether. I couldn't find her in the credits of my book. No wonder we have different views then

I never had a problem with Fallen itself, but I've had some horrible player experiences besides the very first time we played it. I admit that I haven't read The Descent myself but had it told to me from our main GM that is much more into WOD than I am, and the things he told me really tickled my fancy. I was curious, what version of Changeling did you play?

I remember how everyone hated my Daeva, he was a habitual flirt that stole almost everyones Thrall projects since I could detect their greatest desire and promise them that, while everyone else had to work manually. I'll admit that I partly want to see Demon The Descent as a crpg because... well; The God-Machine. ^^

It does, sounds good too! I'm sure I'll be able to make it inedible.

I can sympathize with that, the major staple in my diet has been... brown. Or rather brown sauce, I have no idea how to translate it but gravy with cream ought to do it. It's come to the point that I throw a little fit every time I see it now. Went to the point where I essentially only ate chicken and fish for a while, now I can't stand chicken instead. My saviour is different random recipie pages, but **** me if most of those dishes aren't crazy expensive. And I'm probably the worst cook in the world, wich doesn't help. I'm going to make this tomorrow.

I have'nt ever tried something like that, but just looking some of those things up I've already started drooling slightly.
-
Especially Demon The Descent would be cool.
-
Well... Melodifestivalen/Eurovision song contest could arguably be called a terror.

Yeah, having xxxGAYFairyFagxxx running around naked shouting "lol" would be... detrimental, but I'm imagining it from an (impossible, granted) ideal scenario perspective. In the same way that I viewed the old WOD MMO that was announced a few years ago. The focus of social interactions amongst the players and persistant world or possibly more small scale motleys/freeholds could be interesting. Would be difficult to find a way for some sort of random happenings to spice things up though. It might be because I have a very different view on Changeling than others, and see it as sort of an survival trial, but I have a real hard time imagining what a single player Changeling game would be like. If I were to view it as an RPG it would be an massive beast to accurately portray the CtL world and the many ways they deal with their lives. There is a tangible amount of existential dread and paranoia in Changeling that would be interesting to see someone deal with though. How do you deal with your old life? What about the Fetch that took your place? You know he's just a fragment of you, but isn't he really alive anyway? Maybe the Fetch is a better son/daughter/father than you were, would you break up your family for that? Will your Keeper come for you or does he Do you build a new life for yourself? What about the other supernaturals around? Yeah, Bioware just needs to be kept as far away from things like this as possible.

Thanks, though my bed is decently hard, I'll try it out, can't hurt :D I usually roll up a towel and place it under the lumbar wich gives some relief for a while, but it rarely stay in place for long since I toss and turn quite frequently. Edit; My mother is apparently going to the movies, something wich she never really does, got me curious what movies she possibly could be going to. Looked it up. Fifty shades darker. ... WHERE'S MY BRAIN BLEACH?!
-
You're not alone in hoping that As cool as Changeling is, I doubt it'd make a good videogame though. There's so much existential dread and with how much focus there is on relationships I don't see how it could ever reach the heights that the PnP game does. It could possibly work as some sort of MMO, but you'd have to have an DM or an actual AI to monitor the situations and time the True Fae's actions. It would be hard to watch your words in the same way that changelings has to, but then again, the dialogue wheel would actually be an excellent tool for once A Demon The Decent game could be awesomely meta though! :D

Wow, attacking Novella and Pew research really does improve your position. Would it have been better if I pulled it from Scientific American instead? Because they reported on it aswell. Facts are what the facts are, and these reasearch papers prove you wrong. Because they're illegal immigrants and are committing a civic offence by just being in the country in the first place I reckon.
