  1. Having to empty two or three clips into an enemy before they go down was the main reason why I got tired of it, sure some things were kind of fun and I enjoyed the environments, but those ****ing bulletsponges...
  2. I'll try that out later, I think I'm going to buy some new paste before I do that and have a looksee. I'm not too pleased about "idling" at 47C since my cpu voltage usually lies at about 1.37-1.4, I'm usually pretty good about not overtightening though, my father was pretty adamant about such things but it's worth looking into anyway.
  3. Good sir, while there were great games in '97 the ones that were released in '98 had more iconic games in it, and I only count games for The One Platform to Rule them All, or I could pad out my list some more. But I would need an encyclopaedia, I never bothered with the... lesser... platforms.
  4. She's awesomely friendly, I hope she stays around there and doesn't change clinics so I can rely on her if I need any work done in the future. She was more open than other dentists I've had aswell. And she's really, really, really cute. That helps alot. Nope, overall I've had very little pain from my teeth. One of my teeth was basically rotten down to the roots wich made her have to really dig around to get them out and I hadn't felt a thing from it. Overall though they're hesitant to pull teeth, because they know they'll get less money from you overall. Pulling a tooth is cheaper than repairing it unless it's a really small hole and that is one less tooth that they can fix later on.
  5. Did try to swap the sticks around, but no real improvement there, still recieved only 8gb at boot a about 3 out of 5 times when rebooting. I did try setting my cpu overclock to all manual though and that did seem to resolve the OC error on boot, so there is that. The auto OC feature seemed to have some problems. Now my niggle is cpu heat instead since I'm consistently at 3.9Ghz.
  6. I think you're mistaking 1998 for 1997. Yeah, that's the famous one. I was talking about 'the second one', you know...like when you talk about the 7 wonders of the ancient world and then you proceed to talk about the 7 wonders of the modern world. No, I mean 1998, not '97. I do mean the year of Battlezone, Thief, Fallout 2, NFS; Hot Pursuit, Half Life, Grim Fandango, Decent: FreeSpace The Great War, Star Craft & Brood War, Rainbow Six, Baldurs Gate, Warhammer Dark Omen, Commandos; Behind Enemy Lines, Unreal, Delta Force and SiN.
  7. Need some ideas guys, I've got some annoyances with my computer. 1. If I turn off the computer, it gets an overclocking failure at boot. All I have to do is enter bios and exit it again for it to boot properly. 2. When I reboot the system, it occasionally only finds one of the ram-sticks. Fix? Enter bios and exit it again. I'm running the RAM at 3200@1.35V but it doesn't matter what clocks I run them at. Bad motherboard or RAM sticks?
  8. Pfft. Neither 2001 nor 2007 stands a chance against 1998...
  9. Apologies, that was supposed to be 6 teeth, the wisdom teeth, and a couple others, I didn't have the funds to repair them. The wisdom teeth were badly decayed because they were hopeless to reach properly with a toothbrush, and I noticed to late that they were in a bad shape. Considering their positioning and such they probably would've pulled them anyway once I started getting cavities in them. The dentists work was good, the tooth came out clean, got it as a souvenir the problem is that the nerve was less than a millimetre underneath it. She knew this and took precautions afterwards to see that it wasn't visibly damaged. I do wish I could speak japaneese though as she let loose a loong tirade that sounded very relieved afterwards. They didn't see any signs of infection when I was there either, went there to discuss dosage and they had a look at the same time. Looks to be healing perfectly. And yeah, they used Xylocain or something similar during the procedure, no laughing gas or such here either. Normally they tell you to take paracetamol or similar for the pain, but that's just pointless.
  10. You're welcome to take a trip to Sweden, and I'll happily knock a couple of your teeth out and see how much you complain, because you clearly need to feel some to learn what it is It's not my first bout with pulling teeth, I've pulled 7 so far and none have hurt to this degree for this long.
  11. I really hope not, I'm pretty certain that I will need surgery or similar atleast once in my lifetime. And the alchohol store has closed already, guess I'll have to get another bottle tomorrow or go for the moonshine.
  12. Ah, I missed the hype and all surrounding it, I didn't upgrade from my X800 until I got a HD5850.
  13. Que? My I don't remember much from that time, too much WoW rot, lost alot of memories when I dug that **** out
  14. Morphine's useless. Got an ok to increase the dose again, but it bloody well does nothing.
  15. Huh? As far as I recall, the vast majority of top 500 had inherited their wealth. Sure, there are some people that manage to claw their way up, but they're the exception not the rule.
  16. I don't really have any brand loyalty per se, but I really don't want to support shady companies, which nVidia is. They're underhanded as ****, pushing companies to do illogical things just to demolish ATi/AMD's cards performance just to get a bigger marketshare.
  17. ... am suspecting you enjoyed too much rum before watching the movie. HA! Good Fun! Well, I won't say it didn't help but I've always loved such comedies.
  18. Kids singing Rammstein makes it all the more epic!
  19. Eh, Vega is not looking so hot right now, I'm not without hope right now, but I'm not feeling particularly hopeful about it's performance or glad about the prospect of giving nVidia my money...
  20. Depends on who makes it: http://www.shortmountaindistillery.com/ Still going to be an import for you though so it's going to be expensive. And alcohol taxes... :/
  21. I did, tried double the dose and still nothing, so she can't do much more. A bottle of rum is about 31$ so it was about 24$ worth of rum I drank, to be more precise The only way to get it cheaper is moonshine, and that tastes like ass normally.
  22. Did you clean out the PSU aswell or just the cpu, gpu and chassis fans?
  23. That will cure what ails you! And dosages may be increased at patient's discretion! Greatest problem is the cost, that's about 30$ worth of rum I drank, wich lasted for about 4-5 hours. The equivalent in morphine would be 0.5$ per pill. One is massively taxed, the other is subsidized.
  24. Your friend has impeccable taste
