  1. I'm expecting weather problems tomorrow too. It's supposed to rain alot.
  2. Beats doing what I do and complain about foreign truckdrivers and lorries all day
  3. Yes, that'd be interesting to know. I liked the video, and I am actually happy that I've been running AMD processors since I had a K6/2 450
  4. The only "drugs" that is prescribed for transgender people are hormones, and specialized psychologists evaluate if they really are transgender or if it's something else that is going on and follows the transperson through their transition, that's it. Some people might have other problems aswell, but that's not exclusively tied to them being trans. You should read up more on that "common knowledge" mate :/ 40% suicide rate. Doesn't sound to mentally stable to me. Acting like everything is fine and dandy with transgender people is doing a disservice to them. I'm pretty certain that having people harass you, glare at you for looking 'manish' and similar things have nothing to do with it. The massive amounts of hate some of them has to take from society would affect anyone.

  6. It's also possible that it is a result of trying to overcompensate, if you follow my train of thought. Some trans people can feel they need to prove they are more manly than what they are deep down, and it's definetly seen as very manly being in the service. To be fair, Klinger vehemently denied being transgender to the shrink (Sydney iirc) so even he wasn't that desperate in the end
  7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb4pE4eIs4c Lyrics; *Anyone that could suggest a more fitting English word for killing a man?
  8. Got one myself this "morning", got way to little sleep because of it. You know you're going to have a good day when those happen
  9. Swedish newspaper ad. Bit NSFW. Oldie but goldie ^^
  10. Good question, probably means you click your tongue Speaking of links, today we had an incident with one of those hired drivers. He had forgotten to lock the fifth-wheel coupling, so the 'kingpin' was'nt holding on to the wheel. He did'nt bother testing it or anything like that, he just assumed that it would lock on it's own, so he raised the support legs, hooked up power, ABS, air and drove off... for about ten metres before the trailer dropped off, shattering the lights on the link and made my day a living hell. The only way to get the trailer back up was either with a forklift, wich we don't have, or by manually raising the support legs. Guess who drew the short straw? Oh yeah. Me. Good fun!
  11. My employer has started using a new system for the trailers we have, called a link, it's a complicated and labour intensive POS that I and every other person that has to deal with it hate. But the company is loving it, they're paying less in taxes for it, they say so they save money. I very much doubt that though since it takes us 5-10 times as long to use it as the dollies and containers we normally use. Not to mention that none of the eastern european drivers now how to really use them so my yard fills upp with truck drivers that doesn't speak a word of english or swedish...
  12. What is worse is her supervisor condoning it. Just beacause horrible things happened to their grandparents and such, doesn't give them the right to play around like they are owed anything by the world anymore. Makes me wonder what kind of people they are raising down there, then again their governments treatment of palestinians does set a pretty low bar for how one is supposed to behave.
  13. You know, there are no words to describe the massive amount of jealousy I feel right about now.
  14. Dayyyyyyyyyymn, that'd be a nice car to have =) What's wrong with it?
  15. Trigger Warning, contains 1 use of the F word. The guy I carpool with introduced this band to me today, and I'm sold. Love their intensity!
  16. If they were to take on anything by White Wolf, I'd rather they do Changeling. I'd like to see what Obsidian can do with that trippy setting.
  17. Stirling is awesome.
  18. Nice! The car would look awesome in red or orange I think! Is it spanking new or second hand? I'm going to be mean then and hope you get bored quickly
  19. Good thing I don't have that virus atleast.
  20. Grats Colour? Also, when do we get the next podcast episode? =)
  21. Really disagree there, though I agree with the cut bit. 'Realistic weapon' mods in Stalker are a misnomer in many ways. If it were 'realistic' to always hit where you aimed at everyone would be White Death and there would be no point having shooting medals at the Olympics or specialist snipers. You miss what you aim at all (well, a lot of) the time in reality despite thinking that you've aimed perfectly. To get an actual realistic result from shooting you need either bullet spray or gun wobble. The sort of thing you sometimes get with bullets going off at 30 degree angles or being unable to fire some guns at all due to skill limitations which come from RPG mechanics in fp perspective is stupid, but that doesn't happen in Stalker anyway. True, but since there is no real wobble and some AR's deviate with something like 10 MOA at 100 metres...
  22. Sooo much this, a Dark Heresy RPG by Obsdian could be so, so awesome. Or maybe they could do some kind of modern day, maybe 20-min into the future spy action RPG...
  23. Yeah, I always get sad when I meet up with old friends and things turn out like that. I feel like they've died a little inside and force themselves to act older than they really are, sort of as if it is expected.
  24. Having to empty two or three clips into an enemy before they go down was the main reason why I got tired of it, sure some things were kind of fun and I enjoyed the environments, but those ****ing bulletsponges...
  25. I'll try that out later, I think I'm going to buy some new paste before I do that and have a looksee. I'm not too pleased about "idling" at 47C since my cpu voltage usually lies at about 1.37-1.4, I'm usually pretty good about not overtightening though, my father was pretty adamant about such things but it's worth looking into anyway.
