Thanks everyone! =) Happy Birthday! You're old enough to know how to do things and young enough to still be able to do them all! The best age! Thursday is a holiday, and my boss managed to get me the best present one can give an employee; Vacation on short notice. :D Going to use it to go consume some booze, beer and burgers with my buddies!

The Red Alert games had some pretty epic soundtracks, while Hell March is my favourite, this one is pretty damn good aswell.

I really need to put Memento mori on my mp3 for work, it's amazing. Now that I have different requirements for tempo and speed I can add some more varied songs than ones that pump up my pulse.

Drove to town today to play PnP with my friends, it was about 27C according to my cars thermometer, and guess what broke off in my car? The tensioning bolt for my AC. Luckily, I had bought an extra spare part that I kept in my glove compartment together with a 10mm and a 12mm wrench so that I could fix it. I knew that Murphy would hit me and that I'd need spares, so I bought them. I'm just that damn clever. I'm pretty pleased with myself, can you tell? And we managed to complete two sections in the campaign wich netted us two levels in one evening. Then again, we'd gone 4-5 evenings without a single level since the adventure isn't built around experience points but "At this section the PC's get a level".

It's old braindamage from playing WoW, noone spoke in mathematically correct terminology. A 10% increase when you speak WoW isn't going from 10 to 11 percent, it's going up to 20% edit; or to 110% critdamage.

I will admit that I don't get how having geometric shapes would help make any situation like that better, you would still end up with thresholds wouldn't you? It would just mean that you'd have to have "great" luck instead of 7 to get those random encounters. On the crit chance vs crit damage, after raiding in WoW where they had both, I'd have to say I really never thought about the increased crit damage as much as I noticed the increase in crit chance. Going from 10% to 20% crit chance was really noticeable, but my strikes going from ~5k to 5.5k wasn't really worth noticing. I'm weird I guess.

I love Kamelot, they're awesome - I miss Roy Khans voice but the new guy is good aswell. They've done some amazing songs, I still remember first time I heard The Epica album is a masterpiece, me and my mate sat in his room listening to the album with our jaws on the floor, just amazed by the composition. Not to forget, Epica was inspired by Kamelot aswell, and they do some pretty nice pieces, Consign to Oblivion and Phantom Agony are really good aswell.

We've had about 25C today, and it's going to be warmer yet tomorrow. It's frickin' May and it's already sweltering summer heat. Why can't I just live in the arctic?

Saw in the news that one of our lorries crashed on the way to our depot an hour ago. I got a really weird feeling to know what driver it is from just looking at the trailer.

WTF?

Annoying day at work today, and some weird weather. About 15C and loads of fog, about 15-20m visibility and almost crashed three times when white lorries drove out of the mist. Driving to work was arduous aswell, had an average speed of about 50-60 at times when the fog was at it's thickest.

That just blew my mind. My friend got his treatment in 24 hours, the problem lies not in public healthcare but where they've chosen to put their funding. That is the sad truth. While everyone does have a right to free healthcare, people have to take a number... Almost every doctor in the government healthcare system has a private clinic and that private clinic lets you skip the ticket machine (they even use government facilities to do the procedures). Usually, the people who have an urgent issue get pushed up the line, but that again depends on how old you are and other factors. This is mindblowing to me, they're using government facilities for their private clinics? Sounds more like a scam to me.

There's one American car that I really want, it's owned by a guy relatively nearby that I buy my tyres from, it's a Ford Galaxie 500/Ford LTD that my father used to own... Trying to persuade the owner to let me buy it if he's going to sell it. It's the only thing I can imagine taking a bank loan for.
