It was probably because you posted a picture of your wife, there was too much jealousy after that I suppose.

Ended up playing Mutant Chronicles for two days, was loads of fun. The world is similar to Warhammer but is entirely focused on our solar system and it's less grimdark and more 80's/90's action like in it's tone. We ended up being only two players though, wich was kind of dissapointing, but it was fun nonetheless.

No problem, my pleasure There are some real gems in 5e, I love how the classes have built in prestige branches, scaling of spells and that you don't have to invest in less than interesting feats to build up to the real gems.

On a personal note; I dislike it, but I'm particular they say. So I'm a bit biased towards old 3.5e. It's quicker and easier, the classes (Druids and clerics are still stupid powerful.) are generally speaking more fun, spells are more balanced; Cantrips scale with your level, so attack cantrips are almost always useful, you can push your spells with higher slots for more duration/damage or targets, the feats are more useful and balanced but more rare; but some are very much more useful than others, and sometimes just plain needed to play your character effectively. (Constitution saves are used instead of a skill to maintain focus on a spell, wizards, warlocks, bards, clerics and druids don't get constitution save bonuses unless you pick a feat) Skills are more boring now, you no longer allocate points, you have a proficiency bonus wich increases slightly with level, so you have to use one of the rare feats if you want to expand your portfolio. You can still use non-class skills, but you're limited to your abilityscore, so if you feel your Wiz needs some points in diplomacy you're SOL until you get a level with an Ability Score Bonus; Either raise attributes by two points or pick a feat. So your characters are more stiff. That said, you've got more options to chose skills when you create that character, just make sure you pick the right stuff. Monsters don't have any scaling mechanic anymore, so if you want a really badass orc chieftain you have to improvise. There might be more, nothing pops up right now, I'm a bit to tired from work.

Right at this moment, we're running DnD 5e, I'm running one freeform campaign (Wich was originally played in 3.5E but all the players nagged me into switching over) with some inspiration from NWN2 and I'm reading through Princes of the Apocalypse to prepare for that later. I've got one Warhammer40K Only War campaign I'm running, and I'm writing an campaign for Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader. I've got Shadowrun on my table aswell, but my players are severely disillusioned by the system itself. I've got one campaign going for a Swedish game called Neotech(Cyberpunk) and I'm writing one for Eon(Low-Medium fantasy) from the same company. The "main" GM is running Storm Kings Thunder - wich we are currently focusing on-, Curse of Strahd and Out of the Abyss, a Vampire campaign, Dark Heresy, The written adventures for Rogue Trader and Only War. One campaign for Eon wich is on hold I think (Since his ex had one of the central roles). And he also holds the Mutant Chronicles campaigns. He also holds an On/Off Star Wars campaign. His girlfriend is prepping for the Tyranny of Dragons campaign, it's going to be her first foray into GM'ing. So... alot of systems! I've missed some probably, that's just what I can remember on the top of my head. We've got dozens of systems that we're running, my personal favourite is the old Eon/Neotech(Different settings, same system), but noone else likes them. Eon/Neotech DnD 3.5 DnD 5 Mutant Chronicles Warhammer 40k Vampire StarWars 3.5e I'm going to have to look through our bookshelf to remember the rest XD

Got beer and pen and paper RPG's tomorrow, looking forward to that immensly after working these long weeks. Working extra plus ordered overtime is awful, but there is a payoff coming in two weeks. ^^

I'm going to count the cold that hit me like a brick at work today as the third.

I just hope the next one doesn't involve my car. Oh yeah, and I've gotten confirmation that I'm going to be bumped up to 100% (Fulltime) employment from 1'st of June until 31'st December, meaning I won't get an "overtime stop" once I'm about to get the really nice dough. Every time they order overtime I'm going to get twice(~300sek/h) the hourly wage instead of "extra time"(~150SEK/h) pay.

I'm beginning to think I'm hexed or something, a lorry driver drove into my tug today at work...

That's about the same level I'd say, but the one that said Dune is a POS book; Y'all need to start an office collection for a bounty...

Pfft. Alpha Protocol, nuff said.

killing the russian mobsters who stole your car and killed your dog? HA! Good Fun! Never before has your ending quip been so fitting. --- My coworker reversed into my car driver door a couple of days ago, quite an impressive feat. His reason? "I wasn't paying attention about what I was doing"... And this guy has the same job as me; Shunting... I'm not overly pleased, but atleast he said he'd pay it out of pocket. His own brand spanking new car had a crushed rear light, but since he's got plastic bumpers it wasn't to serious on mine except that he's scratched up the paintjob. Going to have it looked over this weekend. And today he showed his age when me and another guy I worked with were diggin' Part Time Lover and he stood there looking utterly confused. Goddamn is he young. :S And that is not to say I'm a methusela, the song is from the same year that I was born iirc - but damnit - you don't listen to Stevie Wonder and look confused.

And mosquitoes, wasps, flies, ticks and other assorted pests I've forgotten about since last summer. Had one of those a month and a half ago, as is typical my brain went into innuendo mode. Luckily it seems most people had the same thoughts and went along with it. We had like three girls in our team, we had to divide into four groups to "discuss how sexism affects our workplace". That went well. And with well I mean everybody started whining about how dudes had to do the vast majority of the heavy lifting at our workplace, and the girls agreed.

The green is what really gets me, everything slowly turning green again. Love it. First wasp of the year flew through my window this "morning" and had me up, awake and alert in about 0.02 seconds flat.

Alot of birds singing right now, quite lovely to listen to. Quite annoying to try and sleep to. Admittedly it's just some low chirping noises but it still gets me annoyed.

Well, it probably only said things like "REMEMBER; DON'T USE THE N WORD". Smart of her to have a reminder at hand.

Thank you, I've been trying to think of the proper word for almost an hour!

Probably should've said "while driving home" yeah I'll take this opportunity to blame it on being tired since I've worked another 12 hour day!

Got hit by a Porsche today going home from work. They're resurfacing the roads near where I live and they've put up plenty of signs. There was a few that said that the road was going from two-lane to one lane so I kept my eyes peeled for it, it came after a right turn over a crest so you had to read the roadsigns warning for it. I saw the Porsche coming up behind me, going atleast 120kmh or so (Normally 90 limit, but had been lowered a hundred metres before to 70) and he's in the outer lane going to overtake me when the barriers show up, he steps on the brakes, I floored it, and he swirves into my lane just behind me, rubbing his bumper against my bumper and towball(?). We stopped and inspected the damage, I had some barely noticeable scrapes on the bumper and towball, the plastic protector of my towball was destroyed and his front was wrecked (And I will freely admit this feels pretty damn good, SWEDISH STEEL WOO! ... and plastic.) Exchanged information with him and such, I was pretty angry with him but kept a lid on it, he doesn't need the extra grief; He's already feeling his own stupidity. My plastic cup is only worth about 5$ and I doubt that would be enough for the workshop to loosen a bolt on his car.
