- You did WHAT...?!
Went to the doctors again, got told to call in sick and come back tomorrow to meet my regular doctor. Called the insurance company to make heads or tails of how to report a workplace injury. Oh, and said goodbye to a driver at work, she was great and I hope I'll meet her some time again. And made a injury report with my boss. Had loads of coffee with my boss. Thinking about going to the toilet and relieve myself of said coffee.- The Metal Thread

Whoa, phrasing!- You did WHAT...?!
which one? Nobody knows, they can't find the coworker anymore. Mysteriously dissapeared.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - DA REAL DEAL
Oh, I can very much believe them putting those things in SP games. There's a buck to be made there, so ofcourse they will try to fleece you. Yeah, it'll have to be a massive discount though before I consider it. The biggest problem is that we are such a minority. We might be talking about something like tens of thousands of people that consider this **** vile while millions will still pick it up, not to mention alot of teens and such whose parents don't give a **** or are clueless to the contents of what they are buying. I doubt it will ever dissapear, it's way to lucrative; Doesn't matter that it is immoral... But alteast we've got to try to get them to get rid of it, it's better to fight back than to just spread ones cheeks and lube up with Megadeath sauce with liquid rage.- You did WHAT...?!

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-10-09-star-wars-battlefront-2-has-a-loot-crate-problem Now I'm torn wether I'm going to get the game, I am interested in the alleged singleplayer campaign. Though I don't know if I should reward the company with any money when pulling **** like this even though I will never set foot in the MP bit or pay for their p2w crates.- You did WHAT...?!
Well, if I've understood it correctly, it's mostly the unions that are in control of that and are the ones that keep tabs on hours. The union can drag the employer to court and get them sued for phat $$$. Not that you get anything out of it, but the union gets moneys. I want to work 50-60 hours a week, I don't mind it aslong as it is under my control. Though it is good that the employer can't force people to work insane hours.- You did WHAT...?!
Just recieved my package from Modiphius entertainment(Mutant Chronicles developer), containing; 2 Cartel , 2 Bauhaus, 2 Cybertronic, 2 Imperial, 2 Capitol, 2 Mishima, 2 Brotherhood, 1 Hit Location D20, 5 Dark Legion and 5 White Star D20's, 48 Dark Symmetry D6's, Dark Eden Sourcebook, Dark Eden Campaign book, a second Core rulebook and a Cartel Artifact bag. Total price? 260£. It's expensive being a nerd ... Totally worth it. I've now relocated my ringbinder, dice, pen and eraser from my 15 year old, torn, worn backpack to the Cartel Artifact bag, together with all the new items. Now I'm heading to my friends place to play some Mutant Chronicles. Have a nice friday, I know I will!- The Weird, Random and Interesting Things That Fit Nowhere Else Thread
Yeah, the ending really made it difficult for me aswell. It started to feel very anti-pharma all of a sudden.- You did WHAT...?!
They're being ornery about it, claiming that any and all errors were outside of their control, I claim it is their lack of control and poor materialsresearch that has resulted in a subpar product with many errors, when it comes to both software and hardware.- You did WHAT...?!
Ofcourse, Swedish socialist government pays. Possible I could get it exchanged through warranty though, most of the things happening to me is a result of errors in manufacturing.- You did WHAT...?!
Yeah, it's been nothing but dissapointments with it, I'm trying to get an exchange but so far no luck- You did WHAT...?!
Yes and no? I've got some minor fractures but nothing actually broken, so it should be fine aslong as I take it easy and don't use it, still swollen and such though. Hehe, yeah it's been swedishified to jalusi, I thought it was French; We've got alot of loan-words in Swedish, we're a multicultural bunch and have been for ages despite what the Swedish democrats try to imply ^^ Well typing with one hand works, just very slow and heavy use of backspace. And looking at the keyboard. Wich feels waaaay to noobish ;_;- You did WHAT...?!
A lorrydriver slammed shut a rolling door on my hand today. Pain, lots and lots of pain. Going to visit a doc in the morn to get a professional opinion. Hand is swollen as all hell and I can't twist or bend it, or use index and thumb properly. Also, learned that "jalusi" roughly translates into rolling door!- You did WHAT...?!
Vielen dank. Haven't yet had the pleasure of getting any sleep unfortunately, but I reckon it's going to be just like that. I'm paranoid that I'm going to ruin my bed though, so I took a incontinence bedpad with me home that I'll be resting my head on. If that get's soaked through, I won't have to worry about my bed anymore The biggest annoyance so far has been eating, getting no air through either nostril really makes it hard to get things down.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - DA REAL DEAL
What about us Nigerian princes? What about us Fresh Princes?- You did WHAT...?!
Speaking of memory. My tasks at work really do require me to keep more than 10 things in my head, plus several licence plates, gate numbers, drivers cars and repaired lorries and containers, and whats prioritized. When I began I used up 2 A4's per day to keep tabs on things, couldn't remember more than one or two things at a time, now I'm down to one A4 per week instead. I just kept applying myself and forcing me to remember things and learn them My 22yo coworker still can't remember what his next task is, where things are supposed to go, or most other things that me and the others keep in memory. I'm glad that I've been able to train my memory again, it feels good to know that not all of that grey matter has been used up by... well, something. Also, went to the doctors again, they've plugged up both my nostrils with some foamgelatin. I don't notice any bleeding anymore, but dear god is it annoying to not be able to use your nose. It's even worse than being blocked by a cold, since there is no give at all.- The Music Listening thread
- You did WHAT...?!
Just came back from the ER. Had a nosebleed that started around 1900 on the evening and it wouldn't stop at all, sat at the ER from 1am to 4am, at 3am the nurse called me in. Just as the bleeding stopped. -.- Edit: Oh yeay, it started again...- The Music Listening thread
Generally speaking, I hate rap. It's boring to me, but this is an exception.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - DA REAL DEAL
So the study proves that the movies that are bound to make money lose money from piracy and the flops that nobody wanted to see nobody wanted to pirate. So piracy is bad I guess, but movies are doing fine and really that money was just going to end up on the hands of a producer. So what's the deal? It applies to games aswell, should've mentioned that in hindsight. - You did WHAT...?!
